According to one source, when the smoke clears and the dust settles on changes to the management structure in WWE, both Triple H and Paul Heyman might be very happy men and in very powerful positions. As per a report by Wade Keller of PW Torch, "Paul Heyman gets along really well with Hunter and Stephanie" and "I could totally see ... Paul Heyman taking on a bigger role in creative."

These comments are based on the idea that Stephanie could take over as CEO of WWE on a permanent basis, something Keller seems to think is possible based on the information he's gathered. He noted on PWTorchVIP.com: “Some of the things that I’m hearing, make me consider the possibility as worthy of conversation that this could result in Stephanie taking over as head of the company, and Triple H and I saw speculation of this on Twitter."

He denied rumors that Triple H and Stephanie were having any marital issues and that a possible separation was the reason her for wanting to step away. He notes they are a team. He also said he didn't think she took time away because she knew this news about her father was coming. The timing might not be a complete coincidence, but this wasn't a plan by Stephanie to make herself invaluable or to have the board of directors come crawling back and offer the moon and stars to get her back to work. All that said, depending on what the investigation into Vince uncovers, "that does not rule out that this isn’t a major turning point in the power structure of WWE." If the board doesn't believe Vince should continue to hold the position of CEO, Stephanie might be in the driver's seat and Triple H and Heyman would be very closely tied to her running the show.

Heyman Would Be Good For WWE Creative

There was a time when Paul Heyman was the lead in creative for WWE, specifically SmackDown and that show saw some of its greatest success under his guidance. If he's actually given the power to make big decisions and has a stronger say in the on-air product, some fans are going to be extremely happy.

It makes sense that Stephanie would trust in Heyman's opinion. He knows what the audience wants and part of her job as CEO is to make the fans happy and increase revenues, something Heyman can do well with a little chaperoning.
