He then debuted with NWA the same year at the promotion's NWA Wrestling Revolution: NWA Invasion event. He competed across the independent circuit and even made a one-off appearance on an episode of WWE Main Event in April 2015, where he competed against The Los Matadores in a tag team match. The ex-couple used to post some vlogs on Guevara's YouTube channel, and when he had a real-life spat with WWE superstar Dominik Dijakovic, AKA, T-Bar, Guevara chose to poke fun at Dijakovic via YouTube. In the vlog, Guevara sported a Bane mask and asked Pam who he was cosplaying, to which she first replied a virgin, and then said he looked like the jobber from Monday Night Raw.

Speaking about Sammy Guevara's YouTube channel, he posted another vlog in which he was seen laying in the snow, making snow angels without wearing a coat. It looked confusing at first, but he did that to hilariously troll the online reports that he had some backstage heat with the AEW officials.

When the person behind the camera questioned him why he didn't have a coat on, he responded by saying, "Don't you read the internet? It said I have lots of heat, so I thought I didn't need a jacket. But I'm so, so cold."
