Strong speculation is that Stephanie McMahon will make her way to Raw this Monday with a huge announcement. Insiders believe that announcement includes an all-female WWE event, women’s tag team titles, a female IC Title, and maybe a combination of the three.

The all-women's event is rumored to be a pay-per-view which may happen sometime in September or October and will likely include the finals of the Mae Young Classic tournament.

When news first broke that a huge announcement was coming to Raw and that the announcement would be made by Stephanie McMahon, it was almost immediately assumed it would pertain to the Women's Division of WWE — a division that Stephanie has long been a spokesperson and advocate for. Stephanie's consistent messaging that the WWE is in the middle of a Women's Revolution will add another notch on that belt if the speculation is true. An exclusively women's pay-per-view is a huge step for WWE, who until a few years ago hadn't offered much in the way of women main eventing a pay-per-view, let alone being the only WWE Superstars on one.

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE has been seriously discussing the idea of an all-women's event and according to PWInsider, these talks have been going on for a few weeks. The idea may have started to pick up steam after the women were not permitted to be part of the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia and quite the stir was created on behalf of the excluded female talent.

As part of the announcement, there is speculation of more women's belts being introduced, including tag belts. Sasha Banks might have dropped a hint on Instagram regarding that subject when she shared a photo of Velvet McIntyre & Princess Victoria, who are recognized as the first ever WWF Women's Tag Team Champions.

Early word is that the show might take place at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island.
