Since the end of her WWE run Renee Paquette (fka Renee Young) has not worked for a wrestling company, but the popular broadcaster recently revealed she is open to speaking with AEW.

During her time with WWE, Renee covered a wide range of different roles, from backstage interviewing to hosting the pre-show, all the way to being a Raw commentator. Renee won over the wrestling fans during her time with the company, and has been missed since leaving.

Her return to the business is something that a lot of people are hoping to see at some point, but she does have many other projects. However, she has recently discussed the possibility of getting back involved.

Renee Paquette Is Open To An AEW Conversation

When her husband Jon Moxley ended up signing for AEW, a lot of fans felt that Renee would be an obvious signing for the company to make. Adding her to the broadcasting team would provide something that AEW is seriously lacking right now, which is a strong female voice with a lot of confidence and personality.

She recently spoke with Steve Fall of NBC Sports Boston, about the possibility of getting back into the wrestling space. However, for her, it would depend on whether she could do something different that she hasn't done before.

"I don't want to do commentary. I don't think doing backstage interviews is the move. It would again, have to be something different, something I felt using my skill in the best way and trying to find that sweet spot." (H/T to Fightful.com)

Paquette would go on to speak specifically about working for either WWE or AEW. For her, WWE is familiar, and will always be there, but when it comes to AEW, she is open to the conversation.

"WWE is the familiar thing that I know and that I've done for the duration of my career. Of course, that is always there. Then you look at AEW, my husband is there, I have a ton of other friends that are there. I'm there more often, not that I'm there very much, but I would be open to a conversation about that."
