Besides his daredevil tendencies and high-flying style, Rob Van Dam is perhaps most known for his iconic singlets. The vast majority of these were designed by Joe Holland who also later designed singlets for the buffoon big man, Ryback.

The airbrushed, street-style vibe of these singlets made RVD's look unique. It also fit like a glove into ECW’s grunge, underground environment. RVD has worn hundreds of different singlets throughout the course of his career, each one uniquely designed. Here's a collection of 10 of the most iconic.

10 Blue Dragon

There are a lot of recurring themes in RVD's ring gear. This singlet features two of them: the dying yang symbol and a big dragon. The color scheme, wherein brighter shades are layered over darker colors like they are in a lot of graffiti, is also very typical for RVD's gear. RVD wore this singlet during his days in WWE, when he was the company's Hardcore Champion.

9 Green Fangs

RVD wore hundreds of different singlets over the course of his career, in several companies. This singlet RVD wore on an episode of Monday Night Raw. It features big green fans running down the center, with green and bluish hues along its sides. It remains one of the most unique of RVD's singlets, which puts it on this top ten list.

8 Black And Red Dragon

This is another singlet that's emblematic of RVD's style. It features a big, nasty-looking dragon in front of white lightning bolts on a black base. Besides its cool design, this gear is especially important due to the fact that RVD wore it during one of the biggest matches of his whole career. This was none other than his championship match against John Cena at One Night Stand in 2006. When a lot of fans think of RVD's best moments, they think of that night and consequently of this look.

7 Red Dragon

Here's another red dragon, but for a different occasion. This dragon is a very vibrant shade of red layered on an equally vibrant red base. It was the perfect thing to wear to his match at WrestleMania 22, where RVD competed in the second-ever Money in the Bank ladder match. It's important to stand out in the ring, especially in a WrestleMania-scale arena and when you're in a ring with five other stars. That night, RVD not only stood out but walked away with the victory.

6 Blue And Green Dragon

What's a good outfit without any accessories? This green and blue singlet features, you guessed it, another dragon. What makes it especially iconic, though, is that it matches RVD's custom MITB briefcase that he won at WrestleMania 22 and had painted soon after. It's a big upgrade from the plain black briefcase he originally won, don't you think?

5 Voltage

What made this gear especially great is that his girlfriend, Katie Forbes, had a bikini and neon green boots to match it. The two of them together stole the whole f'n show, without a doubt.

4 Blood And Bones

Don't let RVD's laid back attitude and bright attire fool you; he can get violent when he needs to. This singlet still features his signature ying-yang circle, but it also has some more gruesome images of bones and drops of blood. RVD wore this attire at WWF Insurrextion in 2002, where he defeated Eddie Guerrero for the Intercontinental title.

3 Red And Black

RVD made his big return to WWE in 2013 when he competed in the Money in the Bank ladder match at that year's MITB PPV. This was his first WWE appearance since the 2009 Royal Rumble. This time around, he faced CM Punk, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Daniel Bryan, and Christian. Though he came up short, RVD delivered another memorable performance and another iconic look.

2 Volcanic Singlet

There are a few key details in this attire that work together to make the look pop. Across the chest are Van Dam's initials in some wickedly stylized green flames. On the lower half of the singlet are streaks of molten lava, complete with clouds of smoke rising up from them.

RVD wore this singlet for several occasions, including Judgement Day in 2003 and at the Royal Rumble in 2004. Its bright colors and fiery imagery make it another one of RVD's iconic ring attires.

1 Tiger Stripes

This singlet is undoubtedly a favorite among fans of RVD. He wore it on a few occasions, including on the ECW PPV Guilty as Charged in 2001. This was the last PPV put on by ECW before the company filed for bankruptcy and was subsequently purchased by the WWE. RVD's tiger-striped singlet was the gear chosen for his most recent WWE action figure, which suggests that WWE and Mattel are very aware of just how iconic this look was, even over two decades after it was debuted.
