WWE has added a 'Winner Takes All' stipulation to the already confirmed WrestleMania matchup between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar.

The match was made official after WWE's Elimination Chamber show at Saudi Arabia, which saw The Beast Incarnate win the WWE Title in the Men's Elimination Chamber match after the current champion - Bobby Lashley - was forced to withdraw due to injury.

Roman Reigns also defended his Universal Title against Goldberg at the show in Jeddah and The Head Of The Table walked away still champion after emphatically beating Goldberg with a Guillotine submission.

Lesnar had previously won the Men's Royal Rumble match in January and had challenged Roman Reigns to a match at WrestleMania. So this meant that the match would be the WWE Champion Vs the Universal Champion in what many people believed would just be for Reign's Universal Championship.

But, WWE later confirmed that both titles would be on the line in the match meaning one of the two men would become a double champion.

"The table has been set. 2022 Royal Rumble winner and WWE Champion Brock Lesnar has chosen to battle Roman Reigns in a Title vs. Title Match. It’s WINNER TAKE ALL in a highly anticipated rematch at WrestleMania," WWE said.

Will Roman Reigns Or Brock Lesnar Unify The WWE And Universal Championships At WrestleMania?

Naturally this announcement has led to some speculation that we could see the WWE and Universal Titles unified together, or that one of the titles might be dropped as WWE moves forward with just one world champion.

People are also speculating that this might be a step towards removing the brand split that keeps certain Superstars specific to either Monday Night RAW, or Friday Night SmackDown.

However, WWE hasn't confirmed exactly what will happen with the two world titles after the WrestleMania match goes down, only that they're both on the line and one of Reigns or Lesnar will walk out with them both.
