Roman Reigns hasn't been pinned for more than 2 years now. His great win-loss record is nothing new though. Ever since he became a singles wrestler, Roman Reigns has been one of the most protected wrestlers on the roster, and we rarely saw him take a pin.

However, when he was a tag team wrestler as part of the Shield, he did get pinned more often. There are actually a few unexpected names on the list of wrestlers who have pinned Roman Reigns. Let's go back to the beginning of his WWE career, and take a look at the first 10 instances he was pinned.

Roman Reigns' first-ever pinfall loss in the WWE came at the hands of his cousin, Jey Uso. It was an 11-on-3 Handicap Elimination match where Reigns teamed up with his Shield brothers, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins to take on The Usos, The Prime Time Players, Rob Van Dam, Justin Gabriel, Zack Ryder, Kofi Kingston, R-Truth, Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan.

It was an impossible task for The Shield, but they started off well by eliminating 5 wrestlers from the other team. Reigns was looking strong after eliminating 3 wrestlers, but Jey Uso hit a Splash on him, and then pinned him for the first time in WWE.

It didn't take long for Roman Reigns' second pinfall loss to occur, as it happened just a month after the first one. On the October 14 edition of Raw, the Tag Team Champions Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins defended their titles against Cody Rhodes & Goldust.

It was a No DQ match, and thus we saw interferences from Dean Ambrose and Big Show. In the finish, we saw Big Show hit the KO Punch on Reigns, and Cody crawled over to pin him for the victory.

8 Bray Wyatt - Elimination Chamber 2014

There is no doubt that one of the greatest rivals of The Shield were The Wyatt Family. They faced each other plenty of times under different circumstances. At the Elimination Chamber 2014 PPV, the two teams faced off in a 6-man tag team match.

It was a great match with good work from all the men involved. Towards the end, we saw Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose being taken out, which meant Reigns was the lone man against The Wyatt Family. Reigns tried, but he was outnumbered, and Bray Wyatt hit the Sister Abigail on him for the win.

The Shield and The Wyatt Family continued their rivalry as they faced each other once again in a 6-man tag team match in the main event of the 5th May 2014 edition of Raw. The two teams started brawling even before the bell rang.

The Shield was going for a Triple Powerbomb on Bray Wyatt, but Evolution's music hit. We saw a huge brawl occur, and as Reigns hit the Superman Punch on Triple H, he was hit by a back elbow and a Sister Abigail from Bray Wyatt, and he got pinned.

6 The Big Show - Raw 2/2/2015

This was the first time Roman Reigns was pinned in a one-on-one match. On the Road to WrestleMania 31, Reigns faced Big Show in the opening match of the 2nd February edition of Raw.

The match wasn't long, and it only went for 2 minutes and 38 seconds. In the end, Reigns was going for a Spear on Big Show, but Rollins hit him with the Money in the Bank briefcase, and Big Show hit the Chokeslam on Reigns for the win.

5 Seth Rollins - Raw 3/2/2015

In the main event of the March 2nd edition of Raw, Roman Reigns faced his former Shield brother, Seth Rollins. Rollins was accompanied by J&J Security, Kane and Big Show in the match.

With so many people in Rollins' corner, interferences were inevitable, and we got plenty of them during the match. Randy Orton also got involved in the match. In fact, he was a part of the finish. Reigns tried fighting Kane and Rollins in the end, but Orton held Reigns' ankle, which allowed Rollins to pin him with a roll-up.

4 Seth Rollins - WrestleMania 31

After winning the Royal Rumble, and defeating Daniel Bryan at Fastlane, Roman Reigns faced Brock Lesnar in the main event of WrestleMania 31 for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The match was very physical with both men kicking out of multiple finishers.

When both men were down, the Money in the Bank briefcase holder, Seth Rollins came out of nowhere and cashed in during the match to make it a triple threat. Reigns hit the Spear on Lesnar, but Rollins hit the Stomp on Reigns and pinned him for the win.

3 Sheamus - SmackDown 6/18/2015

In the main event of the 18th June 2015 edition of SmackDown, Roman Reigns teamed up with his former Shield Brother, Dean Ambrose to face Sheamus and Kane in a tag team match.

Towards the end of the match, we saw Bray Wyatt appear on the screen which distracted Roman Reigns. Meanwhile, Sheamus took advantage of the distraction and hit a Brogue Kick on Reigns for the win.

2 Bray Wyatt - Battleground 2015

After The Shield split, Roman Reigns had another rivalry with Bray Wyatt in 2015. Their first singles encounter on PPV took place at Battleground in 2015. It was a decent match which lasted for 22 minutes.

In the end, Reigns and Wyatt were fighting outside the ring. When Reigns was tossing steel chairs in the ring, a man in a hoodie attacked him, which allowed Wyatt to slam Reigns on the apron, and hit a Sister Abigail on him for the win. The man was later revealed to be Luke Harper, teasing a Wyatt Family reunion.

1 Sheamus - Survivor Series 2015

At Survivor Series 2015, we saw the semi-finals and the final of the WWE Championship Tournament. Roman Reigns defeated Alberto Del Rio in the semi-final, and also defeated Dean Ambrose in the final to win the championship.

However, his celebration was crashed by Triple H as he offered Reigns a handshake. Reigns however, hit the Spear on Triple H, but he himself got hit by a Brogue Kick from MITB holder, Sheamus. After Reigns kicked out, Sheamus executed another Brogue Kick on him to win the WWE Championship.
