Ronda Rousey shares a lot of what she's thinking about during her live streams. While she plays video games, she talks about her WWE career, and in her latest stream, she talked about owning the SmackDown Women's Championship but said she be open to giving it up for a run as one-half of the Women's Tag Team Champions.

During a live stream on her YouTube channel, Rousey said she wants a tag title run in the future, likely with her current partner Shayna Baszler. She noted, "Yes I'm happy just to have a tag title. I don't need a singles title," Rousey said. "A tag run would be fun. I mean, both is cool. I've been doing singles for so long, I'm ready to change it up. That's another thing, too, people forget I only have a year-and-a-half of in-ring experience."

Rousey has been the Women's Championship since defeating Liv Morgan, and she's recently partnered back up with Baszler who would make a logical partner for her in the tag team division. In fact, the two might be the favorites if they ever become an official tag team. The belts are currently owned by Damage CTRL, but there's a real lack of viable contenders for those titles. Rousey and Baszler make perfect sense to be the No. 1 challengers.

Rousey's argument that she's only been in the ring a yar-and-a-half is also a valid reason to put her in tag matches. It's in those bouts she can pick up a lot more wrestling experience while not having to be the sole person (along with her opponent) responsible for if her own match goes well. Rousey is at a stage where WWE has to be careful about what opponents they put her with, simply because she's still learning. And, because she's such a valuable asset for WWE, it would be wise to move her along slowly and protect her progression in the business.

Rousey Could Use A Change

Being the SmackDown Women's Champion is no small deal, but she is right in that she could use a slight change to get her back over with the WWE crowd who seem to like that she's a heel again but are waiting for her to live up to the hype. She's a big draw and it might be time to use her to elevate the women's tag team division.
