Ruby Soho is officially ALL ELITE! The former WWE Superstar debuted for All Elite Wrestling at the company's All Out pay-per-view in Chicago on September 5th and went on to win the Casino Battle Royale moments later by last eliminating Thunder Rosa. Speaking during a post-show media scrum, Ruby described her AEW debut as the "pinnacle" of her career so far.

Having been through this very, very long almost 11-year journey to get here, to get to this moment, to get to the legitimate pinnacle of my entire wrestling career, which was tonight, and gain the opportunity at the AEW women’s championship is the most special and significant thing in the world to me,” Ruby said.

Soho was later asked if she had ever been as happy while wrestling as she was while making her AEW debut.

I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy in pro-wrestling if I’m being honest,” Ruby replied. “Like tonight, my face hurts from smiling.

The artist formerly known as Ruby Riott was released by WWE along with several of her now-former colleagues on the morning of Wednesday, June 2. Other big names released that day include Braun Strowman and Aleister Black. Shortly after being released, Riott changed her ring name to Ruby Soho, a homage to the 1995 Rancid song of the same name which she used as her entrance music as she made her way to the ring at All Out.

So, I have been a fan of Rancid for a very, very long time. Coincidentally enough, I don’t know if you guys know this, but a lot of punk fans are big wrestling fans," Soho said after All Out. "And Lars (Frederiksen) and I had become friends over the last couple years. I had kind of come upon a time where I was like ‘ok, I need to know what I’m going to be called, what my music is going to be’ and he suggested, and like bestowed upon me, Ruby Soho and the music.”
