It sounds as though Sasha Banks is indeed finished with WWe.

Banks and Naomi haven't been seen they walked out of the May. 16 episode of Raw seven months ago, apparently because of unhappiness with WWE's creative plans for them that evening. There have been several reports in the past about Banks and WWE working on a return, but it doesn't look like that's happening.

According to a report Fightful Select (h/t WrestlingInc.com), Banks and WWE negotiated a parting of ways "months ago." It was also noted in the report that Banks will be able to start taking bookings on Jan. 1. The former Raw and SmackDown Women's Champion will reportedly be at the New Japan Pro-Wrestling Wrestle Kingdom 17 event that will run on Jan. 4 and Jan. 21.

After the walkout, it was reported that Banks and Naomi were scheduled to compete in a Six-Pack Challenge bout on the 5/16 Raw show. Naomi was reportedly scheduled to win the match, which would have made her the No. 1 contender for Bianca Belair's Raw Women's Championship.

But after Banks and Naomi walked out, WWE had to call an audible. Asuka went on to defeat Becky Lynch in a singles bout to become the new champion. On the 5/20 episode of SmackDown, Michael Cole announced that Banks and Naomi had been suspended, and that their Women's Tag Team Championships were vacated.

Sasha Banks Enjoyed A Hall Of Fame-Caliber Career

Only time will tell if Sasha Banks is truly done with the WWE. But if she is, fans will look back on one of the most successful and storied careers of this era. Banks was instrumental in helping build up the WWE women's division into what it is today. The longtime fan favorite won the Raw Women's Championship five times and the SmackDown Women's Championship on one occasion. She had excellent feuds with other marquee stars like Charlotte Flair, Bayley and Alexa Bliss. In short, Banks truly enjoyed a Hall of Fame-like career in the world's largest wrestling promotion.
