Recent reports are that another legendary name will be joining The Undertaker and Vader into this year's WWE Hall of Fame class. Another big man and former WWE/WWF Champion, it is believed Sid will be announced as the next 2022 inductee.

As per a report by Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast, Sid will be inducted this year. Sometimes known as Sycho Sid or Sid Vicious, he was a big name for both WWE and WCW, holding the world title multiple times and becoming a star in the 1990s. He began his wrestling career in 1987 as the masked Lord Humongous in Continental Championship Wrestling and wound up being a major player, often going between WWE and WCW as the wars between the two companies waged on.

Sid was extremely popular and to many, made being a bad guy kind of cool. Fans absolutely loved his psycho gimmick and began to cheer for a man who was supposed to be a heel. While popular, he was also often voted among the worst interviews and promo guys in the business. Some thought they were so bad they were good, but many called him extremely overrated. WWE has him listed in their alumni section as "one of the most brutal Superstars to ever terrorize WWE, the sadistic Sid brought an intensity that few could ever hope to contain." Fans seemed willing to overlook his faults because of his charismatic personality.

Among some of Sid's most notable feuds, he wrestled with and against Shawn Michaels, battled Hulk Hogan, and faced off with Bret “Hit Man” Hart and fellow 2022 Hall of Famer, The Undertaker.

Congratulations To Sid If True

If Sid is getting into the Hall of Fame this year, it will already make for one of the best classes in recent memory. With The Undertaker, Sid and Vader all going in, WWE is inducting some of the best big men to ever become stars in this business. Congratulations to Sid on a well-deserved honor.
