In a pivotal Serie A encounter this past Monday, Roma was looking to keep their title hopes alive against the league-leading Juventus, but they were dealt a hefty blow nearly 20 minutes into the second half.
Argentinian forward Carlos Tevez scored a beauty of a free kick from meters outside the box, denting Roma's title hopes. The home side did equalize in the 78th minute, courtesy of Seydou Keita, yet this was a match they couldn't afford to lose.
You can see Tevez's curler in all its glory above, which is more or less a carbon copy of Michel Platini's free kick against Roma way back in 1983 (check it out here.)
Tevez is currently Serie A's top scorer (15 goals in 23 appearances) and Juventus are expected to win another league title this year, topping the table with 59 points while Roma sit in second with 48 points.
