Wrestling fans are incredibly knowledgeable, and many of them believe that they know everything about every male and female wrestler who has appeared in a major promotion like WWE. When WWE bought WCW in 2001, they bought several contracts as well, including Stacy Keibler's. There are likely fans who believe that they know Stacy very well, but many of those same fans probably do not know that her middle name is, Ann-Marie.

Keibler may have been tall, but her height advantage did not lead to any championship runs. In the end, Keibler did not need to win anything, as many fans still consider her to be one of the best parts of the early 2000s.

Age catches up with everyone eventually, and it is unfortunately harder for female wrestlers to stay relevant once they reach 40. Keibler made her WCW debut in 1999 when she was 20 years old, and she was barely 22 when she entered WWE.

Keibler was born on October 14, 1979, which means that she recently celebrated her 42nd birthday. She may be over 40, but she still looks great. Melina is the same age, and she can still perform, but seeing as Keibler has been retired for over a decade, it's safe to say that she won't be resurrecting her in-ring career again.

Most wrestlers get into the business because they were fans of it growing up, but Keibler only became interested in it because of her ex-boyfriend. Her ex was a huge wrestling fan, and when they were together, they would drive to Baltimore to attend WCW and WWE events.

In September 1999, WCW held a nationwide contest to find a new Nitro Girl, and Keibler entered it.

She ended up winning the whole thing, and she received a contract along with a $10,000 prize. If it wasn't for Kris Cumberland introducing Keibler to wrestling, she might never have stepped foot inside WCW.

Before The WWE Performance Center, There Was The WCW Power Plant
The WWE Performance Center may be the most well-known training school for pro wrestlers, but WCW had the idea first with its Power Plant.

WCW's training center first opened its doors in 1989, and although it produced wrestlers like Kevin Nash, Diamond Dallas Page, and Goldberg, it was not held in high regard. It was said that the center taught wrestlers how to be dangerous in the ring, and that a person's physical appearance was the only thing that mattered. This would explain why Stacy's in-ring work was mediocre at best.

Keibler may have not been in the wrestling business for very long, but she was still at the center of some interesting backstage stories. One story in particular dealt with her WWE departure and retirement, as she apparently left wrestling to pursue an acting career.

She got a taste for Hollywood during her time on Dancing With The Stars, where she finished in 3rd place. When she was done with wrestling, Stacy appeared in a few episodes of Chuck, How I Met Your Mother, What About Brian, and George Lopez. She also appeared on several other TV shows as a guest host.

George Clooney started off in television in the 80s, but he has since become a well-respected Hollywood actor, director, producer, and screenwriter who has won multiple Golden Globe Awards and Oscars. Stacy started dating Clooney in the summer of 2011, and they remained an item for two years.
