When Was AEW Dynamite Created?
All Elite Wrestling’s flagship show premiered on October 2, 2019, on TNT. It was the first weekly program of AEW, which had previously only produced pay-per-views. The show’s immediate success secured AEW’s place in the wrestling business; Dynamite even survived the “Wednesday Night Wars,” kickstarted by WWE’s decision to move NXT’s timeslot to compete directly with the upstart company.
Today, Dynamite is one of three weekly programs produced by AEW alongside Rampage and Collision.
