When Was The First Survivor Series?
The inaugural Survivor Series was held on November 26, 1987, at the Richfield Coliseum in Ohio. In the main event, Andre the Giant, One Man Gang, King Kong Bundy, Butch Reed, and Rick Rude took on Hulk Hogan, Paul Orndoff, Don Muraco, Ken Patera, and Bam Bam Bigelow in the event’s signature 10-man tag match.
What Is WarGames?
A recent addition to the Survivor Series tradition has been an annual WarGames match. The premise of this match is that two teams of four or five wrestlers enter a giant steel cage surrounding two rings, with each member entering at 5-minute intervals. Once all the competitors are in the ring, the match can only be won via submission or pinfall.
What Happened At The Most Recent Survivor Series?
The 2023 Survivor Series was held on November 25 in Chicago, Illinois. There were a total of five matches on the card, including the men’s and women’s WarGames matches:
