WrestleMania is the most important PPV of all, not only in WWE, but in all of professional wrestling. This PPV has a rich history, filled with unforgettable moments. With that being said, the main event of WrestleMania is supposed to be the biggest match of the year, both in terms of importance and in-ring quality.

Among the last 10 WrestleMania main events there have indeed been absolutely phenomenal matches, but unfortunately there were also a few bouts that were total fiascos.

10 Roman Reigns Vs. Triple H (WrestleMania 32)

In the main event of WrestleMania 32, Roman Reigns defeated Triple H to become World Heavyweight Champion for the third time in his career. This match was absolutely boring, and excessively long, as those 27 minutes felt like an eternity. It certainly had a couple of amazing spots, but most of the match was pretty basic in-ring action. Undoubtedly if the match had been 10 minutes shorter it would have been much better. Overall, it was a very bad match that infuriated countless fans.

9 Brock Lesnar Vs. Roman Reigns (WrestleMania 34)

Reigns v Lesnar WrestleMania 34

Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar will face off in the main event of WrestleMania 38, and we all expect the match to be nothing like their showdown at WrestleMania 34. That match had a very simple structure, as Brock Lesnar dominated almost the entire match, while Reigns was just holding out for an inevitable finish. Lesnar took Reigns to Suplex City several times, and also needed six F-5s to defeat The Big Dog, which was absurd. The match was certainly brutal, even with blood included, but it didn't make much sense and, overall, it was underwhelming.

8 Drew McIntyre Vs. Brock Lesnar (WrestleMania 36 – Night Two)

Some were hoping to see an amazing match between Drew McIntyre and Brock Lesnar, but it turned out to be the typical Brock Lesnar match formula, but with the right winner. Suplexes, finishers, simple storytelling and a quick finish. The best thing about this match was obviously Drew McIntyre's star-making victory, as we all know about the Scotsman's long journey, so it was refreshing to see him finally get to the top of the mountain.

7 Roman Reigns Vs. The Undertaker (WrestleMania 33)

Hulk Hogan and Roman Reigns are the only wrestlers in history to have main-evented WrestleMania four years in a row, which is obviously a huge feat, although unfortunately neither of them delivered exactly amazing matches.

At WrestleMania 33, Roman Reigns became only the second wrestler in history to defeat The Undertaker at the Show of Shows. It was a rather disappointing No Holds Barred match in terms of in-ring action, mostly because The Deadman looked so bad. Still, the storytelling of the match was excellent.

6 Becky Lynch Vs. Charlotte Flair Vs. Ronda Rousey (WrestleMania 35)

Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey made history by becoming the first women to headline WrestleMania. All three did a great job and delivered a solid match. It was very exciting and well-paced from start to finish. There were several great spots and outstanding sequences. The intensity Ronda brings is unique, Charlotte is simply amazing and Becky showed a captivating fighting spirit. Unfortunately, the botched finish ruined the moment, but it was epic to see the birth of Becky Two Belts.

5 The Undertaker Vs. AJ Styles (WrestleMania 36 – Night One)

Even if you're not a fan of cinematic matches, you have to admit that this Boneyard match was epic. This was like an action movie featuring two legends of sports entertainment. This was a great way to end The Undertaker's career, with a match that fit his character perfectly. Simply put, this match was what it needed to be. AJ Styles and The Undertaker couldn't have told the story any better.

4 Bianca Belair Vs. Sasha Banks (WrestleMania 37 – Night One)

Bianca and Sasha are extremely charismatic, and the fans were invested in the match at every moment. In the end, Bianca Belair defeated Sasha Banks and won the SmackDown Women's Championship to establish herself as a top superstar.

3 Daniel Bryan Vs. Batista Vs. Randy Orton (WrestleMania 30)

Daniel Bryan after defeating Triple H, Batista & Randy Orton in one night.

Now that we enter the podium this gets much more complicated, as there were three main events that were formidable and anyone could be considered the best. WrestleMania 30 was the night of Daniel Bryan, the night that Daniel Bryan became immortal. Bryan had defeated Triple H in a phenomenal match, but he wasn't done yet. Daniel Bryan faced Randy Orton and Batista for the World Heavyweight Title and somehow managed to beat the odds and win the match. What a great moment.

2 Brock Lesnar Vs. Roman Reigns Vs. Seth Rollins (WrestleMania 31)

The main event of WrestleMania 31 is simply unforgettable. The match was going sensationally, with Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns engaged in a vicious battle for the World Heavyweight Title, but the icing on the cake was Seth Rollins, who showed up with his Money in the Bank briefcase and ran full speed to the ring to make the match a triple threat. Rollins pulled off the heist of the century and became World Champion.

This match was a masterpiece, with perfect pacing, top-notch in-ring quality, amazing spots, exciting sequences and perfect booking. Each man had an extraordinary performance. Edge with his incredible in-ring psychology, Bryan with his impeccable technique, and Reigns with his destructive power. They told the story perfectly. In the end, The Tribal Chief won the match in dominating fashion by pinning both Edge and Daniel Bryan.
