For WWE, 2022 has been the year of the Bloodline. At Wrestlemania 38, Roman Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and has been reigning over WWE ever since. The Usos, on their part, have dominated both the Raw and Smackdown tag team divisions. Now, with Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn by their side, it's hard to imagine who will be the one to topple the Bloodline.

The Undertaker Praises Sami Zayn's Storytelling

Sami Zayn and The Bloodline Header

In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, the Undertaker discussed the Bloodline's domination over WWE and the role Sami Zayn has played in their story. The following transcription has been provided by Fightful:

Sami’s character is so intriguing in that whole mix. It is very clear who The Bloodline is and what they stand for, and they go out and do their deal. But adding Sami, that gives so many more layers. Plus, you have that tension between Sami, The Usos and Roman. It works so well.

The Undertaker went on to explain how Sami Zayn gives the Bloodline a way to explore new aspects of their characters and keep Roman's title reign interesting.

Sami is a vital part of the whole thing, and he’s never been a bigger star. But this is also important for The Bloodline. It gives them something new. Roman has been champion for over two years. That means he has to go out and beat everyone he faces, right? That’s tough. But it’s a new dynamic with Sami in there. How can you not enjoy this? It’s great storytelling.-The Undertaker (via Sports Illustrated)
