Bayley is one of the biggest stars on the WWE roster right now, and she is someone who has achieved plenty during her time in the business. She is one of the Four Horsewomen, and because of that, the company likes to push her as a major star that can compete for titles.

However, that doesn't mean everything in her career has been perfect to this point. There have been situations that haven't been great with Bayley, for a variety of different reasons. These are moments that the company would rather fans did not remember about her, as they don't show Bayley in the best light.

10 Leaving Her In NXT

Bayley NXT

The Four Horsewomen made a huge impact on women's wrestling when they were in NXT, with their performances helping to grow the division generally. It's something that the audience reacted to, and Bayley was a huge part of that, as she was very popular during that run.

However, when WWE called them up to the main roster, Bayley was left behind. Despite the fact she was just as important in NXT as the other three, the company didn't view her as being ready at the same level as the other three.

9 Fans Ended Up Hating Her As A Babyface

Bayley Announces Injury

There is no doubt that at one point, Bayley's hugging gimmick was one of the most popular in WWE. From the side ponytail to the hugs with fans, this character proved to be a hit. That's something that the company would likely want people to recall, as it makes her look great.

However, what Vince McMahon won't want fans to remember is the fact that the WWE Universe ended up turning on her as a wrestler. She might have been popular at one point, but the gimmick became stale, and fans quickly let them know, as they ended up booing her.

8 Poor First Women's Tag Team Champions

Bayley And Sasha Banks Women's Tag Team Champions

Creating Women's Tag Team Titles was a great idea on paper, but in reality, the company has booked them very poorly. Sasha Banks and Bayley were the first women to hold the titles, and with their star power and fan connection, it should have helped make the titles a big deal.

However, they ended up flopping as champions, having a short run that nobody truly cared about. It didn't get things started perfectly for the titles, and this is a run that the company would prefer audiences forgot when it came to Bayley.

7 No WrestleMania 37 Plans

Bayley at WrestleMania 37 with Titus O'Neil and Hulk Hogan

WWE will happily talk about Bayley's epic run as SmackDown Women's Champion, and the fact that she was one of the greatest performers of the pandemic era. However, when it came to WrestleMania 37, the company ended up having nothing for her to do.

She deserved to be in a featured match, yet she didn't end up competing at all. Instead, Bayley was just involved in some promo segments with Hulk Hogan and Titus O'Neil, before being attacked by The Bella Twins. It was a low moment for her, and something WWE won't want to bring up again.

6 Friend Zone Work

Sasha Banks And Bayley with Dr Shelby

Segments being done for the sake of comedy always run the risk of falling flat, and when it came to Bayley and Sasha Banks' friend zone storyline, that was the case. Dr. Shelby was brought back here by WWE, and it was clear that the company was trying to recreate the famous anger management work from Team Hell No.

Those segments were classic, but the same cannot be said for these, as they fell flat every week. The over-the-top comedic ideas were not good, and neither was the acting. They didn't have the same feeling overall, with these moments not likely to be brought up by WWE.

5 Kendo Stick On A Pole Match

Bayley and Alexa Bliss Extreme Rules

Bayley's 2017 feud with Alexa Bliss was arguably the worst of her entire career, and a big part of that was their match at Extreme Rules. The company had pushed Alexa as a top heel, trash-talking Bayley for weeks in the build-up, so fans naturally thought this was time for revenge.

Bayley would be able to get the weapon, and make Alexa pay for everything she said. Even if she didn't win the match, fans would be able to see her get some licks in. But no, instead Bayley was too nice to use the weapon, which made her look utterly ridiculous.

4 Title Feud With Eva Marie

Bayley and Eva Marie Cropped

Bayley's time as NXT Women's Champion was a big deal for her, but when it came to who she feuded with, there were a few lackluster opponents involved. The company pushed Bayley a lot in this moment, as far as how talented she was, and her ability to tell a story.

That led to her feuding over the title with Eva Marie, which is something that the company will likely not be bringing up. It wasn't a classic storyline, and the in-ring work wasn't great either, which WWE won't choose to highlight.

3 Mandatory In-Ring Training Led To Injury

WWE Superstar Bayley recovers from surgery on her injured knee

Bayley has been out of action for almost a year now due to a serious knee injury, and while that happens all the time in wrestling, the situation is different with her. She got hurt when training at the WWE Performance Center, which is something that WWE forced upon her.

It was mandatory training for wrestlers due to the pandemic, even though Bayley had been competing regularly during that time. It was a strange call to make, and the fact that it led to such a big injury is something WWE won't want people to know about.

2 Flat Survivor Series Headline

Bayley v Becky Lynch v Shayna Baszler Survivor Series 2019

In 2019, WWE gave the women the chance to main event Survivor Series with a triple threat between Bayley, Becky Lynch, and Shayna Baszler. This is the first time Bayley has been able to headline one of the big four shows, but unfortunately, it was not a match to remember.

This ended up being a very poor match, despite the talent that was involved. It led to the show falling flat, with fans being disappointed by what they saw. This wasn't a top-quality main event contest, which is something that WWE will not highlight about her career.

1 This Is Your Life

Bayley This Is Your Life segment

The This Is Your Life segment between Bayley and Alexa Bliss is one of the worst in Monday Night Raw history. From start to finish, this was a disaster that the live crowd hated, with the script being set to make Bayley look like one of the worst wrestlers around.

WWE positioned her as a complete loser, and when she hit the ring to try and gain some revenge, Alexa ended up beating her up again. It's a moment that she would rather forget about, and WWE would probably wish that this situation had never taken place.
