The Shield is easily one of the most dominant and successful stables to ever step foot inside the squared circle. It's not a common phenomenon for three little-known guys to take the world by storm. The Shield instantly became one of the biggest acts in WWE upon their debut and achieved almost everything the promotion had to offer.

While they were stars as a team, all the three members rose to the ladder of super-stardom once they chose different paths. Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose, the three have built decorated careers. While the three stars share achievements like being Grand Slam Champions, there are some accomplishments that only one of these three names has been able to achieve.

10 Seth Rollins: Only Multi-Time Double Champion

Seth Rollins Double Champion

What's better than a championship? It's a double championship. There have been a few stars who have had the honor of calling themselves double champions. But in the case of Seth 'Freakin' Rollins, he got to call himself a double champion not once, not twice, but thrice. He is also the only one to hold both US and WWE Championships at the same time.

On the other hand, Dean Ambrose has never won two titles in one go. Speaking of Roman Reigns, it's hard to assess whether his victory over Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 makes him a double champion because the title seems unified, yet separate at the same time. Either way, Rollins is the only Shield member who can call himself a multiple-time double champion.

9 Roman Reigns: Won An Elimination Chamber Match

Roman Reigns Elimination Chamber

While every Shield member holds a victory at the Elimination Chamber PPV, Roman Reigns is the only one among three to stand tall in the namesake match.

Reigns did so at the 2018 event when he pinned Braun Strowman at last to earn his ticket to the main event of WrestleMania 34. Rollins and Ambrose have entered the chamber twice and once respectively, but are yet to emerge victorious in the devilish structure.

8 Seth Rollins: Faced And Defeated Sting

Seth Rollin and Sting

Sting stunned the world by making his way to WWE in 2014. For the entirety of his run, the Icon waged war against The Authority. Naturally, it was Seth Rollins who got the chance to face Sting. Not only did Rollins square off against the WCW icon in a singles match, but he also managed to score the victory. Unfortunately, Sting suffered a career-threatening injury and his stint was cut short.

So, fans never got the chance to witness Sting take on The Big Dog. As Sting currently works on AEW, we may expect him to take on Jon Moxley one day, but it is yet to happen as of now.

7 Roman Reigns: Defeated The Undertaker And Goldberg In Singles Matches

Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose have faced The Undertaker in singles matches in 2017 and 2013 respectively, and it is the former who holds a victory over the Hall of Famer. Reigns became only the second guy after Brock Lesnar to defeat The Deadman at WrestleMania.

Likewise, he is among the list of few stars and the only Shield member to have defeated Goldberg, which he did at Elimination Chamber 2022.

6 Dean Ambrose: Held Both Secondary Titles For More Than 100 Days

Dean Ambrose had a relatively shorter career in WWE when compared to his Shield brethren, and he was mostly limited to midcard. Well, this did help him make him the only Shield star to hold both the US and Intercontinental Championship for more than 100 days. His reigns with both titles were quite strong.

On the other hand, Roman Reigns had a 100+ day reign with the US Title, and Rollins had the same with the Intercontinental Title.

5 Seth Rollins: Won Both Royal Rumble And Money In The Bank

Dean Ambrose won the Money in the Bank briefcase in 2016 but was never able to stand tall in the 30-men Royal Rumble. Likewise, Roman Reigns won the Rumble in 2015 but was never able to retrieve the briefcase.

It is Seth Rollins, who has been able to do both throughout his career. He won the Money in the Bank in 2014 and the Royal Rumble in 2019. Rollins is also the only superstar in the history of WWE to cash in his MITB briefcase at WrestleMania, which he did in 2015 and pinned, guess who, Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

4 Roman Reigns: A Title Reign Lasting More Than A Year

Roman Reigns Entrance

Seth Rollins' longest title reign was a little over seven months in 2015. Dean Ambrose's longest run was just two weeks less than a year in 2013-14. This leaves us with Roman Reigns, who is the only Shield member to hold a title for well over a year.

The Tribal Chief won the Universal Championship at Payback 2020 and more than 600 days later, his reign is still going strong as ever. Reigns also has the distinction of having had the longest Universal Championship reign in the title's brief history.

3 Seth Rollins: Won The NXT, WWE & Universal Championships

Seth Rollins is the first-ever NXT Champion and the only member of The Shield to win the said gold. While there are many superstars who have won titles on all three brands, Rollins is the only star in WWE to win all three world championships.

Rollins won the NXT Championship in 2012, WWE Championship in 2015, and Universal Championship in 2019 to create a feat that is yet to be replicated. Speaking of Roman Reigns, he has never won the NXT Championship and Dean Ambrose has only won the WWE Championship.

2 Roman Reigns: Eliminated A Fellow Shield Member From The Royal Rumble

There have been two Shield betrayals throughout their tenure. Firstly, it was Rollins who attacked from behind to break the team. And then, it was Dean Ambrose who attacked Rollins the day Reigns announced his leukemia.

Interestingly, in an environment ripe for betrayal, neither Ambrose nor Rollins has ever eliminated another Shield member from the Rumble. It is Roman Reigns who has that honor. He eliminated both Ambrose and Rollins in 2014 to let out his frustration and tossed the latter in 2018 as well.

1 Dean Ambrose: Won A Shield Triple Threat Since The Trio Formed

Shield Triple Threat Match at Battleground

Apart from the one triple threat match in FCW before they formed The Shield, there has been only one instance when Ambrose, Rollins, and Reigns battled it out in a Triple Threat Match. The WrestleMania main-event worthy match happened on the Battleground PPV in 2016.

Unless fans can witness this clash of titans once again, Ambrose will go down in history as the only member to have won a Shield triple threat bout.
