Women's wrestling has grown exponentially in recent years, with female talent receiving an increased spotlight and level of importance across all avenues in wrestling. Whether it be in the all-female joshi promotion, Stardom, or back in the United States with companies like Impact, AEW, or WWE, women's wrestlers have seen their stock raised within the wrestling world.

With an ever-evolving industry, young stars are being cultivated across every wrestling promotion in the world, and with an emphasis on youth for some, there are a number of young women's wrestlers who could very well be the next generation of mega stars!

10 Nikkita Lyons

While audiences have yet to see all that much out of Nikkita Lyons within NXT 2.0, one thing is for certain, and that is she made an instant impact upon her debut in early 2022. With her unique wrestling gear, coming out of her debut match on NXT, it was a point of emphasis among fans, an area that NXT 2.0 has been highlighted to have been putting a focus on with their women's roster.

While it remains to be seen if Lyons will get a chance to showcase her ring work more, it does appear that she already has gotten a strong fanbase built behind her within the NXT community and looks to become a featured player as 2022 progresses. Being only 22 years old, she has plenty of time to grow as a wrestler before being sent to Raw or SmackDown where she will likely be pushed solidly.

9 Hanan

One of the youngest women in wrestling to be holding a prominent championship currently, is Stardom's Hanan, the current Future of Stardom Champion. Clocking in at only 17 years old, Hanan is not alone in Stardom, with her sisters Rina and Hina also being featured within the promotion.

Despite only being 17 years old, Hanan has already made a nice impression amongst the Stardom audience and likely will continue to do so for more years to come. With the promotion's continued rise in popularity, and with the current Future of Stardom Champion being so young, it is a safe bet to say within the next several years, she could become one of the more popular Joshi stars within Japan!

8 Gigi Dolin

One half of the WWE NXT Women's Tag Team Champions, and part of the ever-dominant Toxic Attraction faction, Gigi Dolin has had quite a strong start to her WWE career. Having only debuted for the company in early 2021, the summer would see her join Mandy Rose and Jacy Jayne in a new alliance.

At only 24 years old, Dolin has a lot of going for her, both in the looks department, which seems to be a selling point for the still new NXT 2.0, as well as the fact that while she is a part of the top faction on the show, she has also already been a Tag Team Champion despite spending very little time within NXT.

7 Masha Slamovich

One of Impact Wrestling's latest signings, the 21-year-old women's wrestler made her debut for the company during 2021, appearing at Knockouts Knockdown for a surprise appearance against Deonna Purrazzo, who at that time was the current Knockouts Champion. While she would come up short, Slamovich would be offered a full-time contract after the match.

Since signing with the company, Masha has gone into fulltime build-mode, as Impact has had her working non-stop squash matches on weekly television in an effort to build her up. While fans await her entry into proper storylines within the Knockouts Division, it seems clear as day that Impact views her as a long-term project, and one they seem very high on.

6 Julia Hart

Julia Hart AEW

Someone that has not gotten the chance to wrestle as much on AEW Dynamite or AEW Rampage is 20-year-old Julia Hart. Attached to the Varsity Blondes as their manager, Julia has been a part of All Elite Wrestling for some time now, using her cheerleader background for both her character and ring work.

Wrestling mainly on AEW Dark and Dark: Elevation, the young prospect is continuing to hone her skills on a weekly basis while also serving in a managerial role. While hints seem to be laid that she could one day join the House of Black, nothing is confirmed, though should this route be chosen, it could lead to Julia becoming a highly featured talent within AEW.

5 Skye Blue

Skye Blue in AEW

Another 22-year-old female star, Skye Blue currently wrestles for AEW while also continuing to do freelance appearances across the North American independent scene. Skye has been a name that has been mainly appearing on Dark and Dark: Elevation, being given reps as she continues to grow as a performer.

With an insanely likable charm to her and great charisma, as well as solid ring work, Skye Blue could very well become one of the top names within AEW's growing women's division within the next few years as she continues to improve.

4 Rok-C

Rok-C

A former Ring of Honor Women's Champion, Rok-C made headlines by signing with WWE in early 2022 after attending one of their big tryouts at the Performance Center. While she is only 20, Rok-C is already an established name amongst non-WWE fans and could very well see a rocket strapped to her back in NXT 2.0.

While a name change seems more than likely, as long as she is allowed to be herself, Rok-C will shine on the women's roster within NXT 2.0 and would be a very strong contender to potentially dethrone the current NXT Women's Champion, Mandy Rose.

3 Anna Jay

Anna Jay

After being handpicked for the Dark Order by the late, great Mr. Brodie Lee, Anna Jay quickly received a bit of a makeover in terms of how she was presented within AEW, going from a jobber to one of the more featured female talents in the company. Thanks to her appearances on Being the Elite, she has grown an even greater connection with the fans over the past two years.

At only 23 years old, Anna Jay is a fan favorite, alongside her partner Tay Conti, within All Elite Wrestling and seems pegged by the company to be one of the future women's main event-level wrestlers. With her ring-work quickly improving and having immense fan support, her success seems like a guarantee.

2 Tiffany Stratton

While the gimmick may not be for everyone, it is hard to deny that Tiffany Stratton is one of the most promising names within all of NXT 2.0, delivering impressive performances anytime she is put in the ring despite only being 22 and having only been wrestling since late 2021.

With an increased emphasis in the looks department in NXT 2.0, Tiffany has an edge in all areas that seem to be what WWE is looking for, but she also packs quite the punch and backs it up in the ring with some very impressive moves for someone who has been wrestling for such little time. Within the next few years, the name Tiffany Stratton could very well be main eventing NXT or WWE shows.

1 Starlight Kid

starlight-kid-stardom

Representing the Oedo Tai faction within Stardom, Starlight Kid is a 20-year-old wrestler who is already the definition of a superstar. Despite her youth, the woman has shown that she is one of the best and brightest stars within all wrestling, amongst men and women's talent. Having already held the Future of Stardom and High Speed Championships within the company, the next few years will see her reach even greater heights.

With some show-stealing matches under her belt, Starlight Kid could very well one day follow the paths of Asuka, Hikaru Shida, Riho, Io Shirai, and KAIRI, to becoming global names that are known and beloved by many.
