Tony Khan is in an obvious position of power right now in the wrestling world due to the fact he is the AEW President, and while he is professional most of the time, he's never shy of sharing his opinion when he deems it warranted. There have been plenty of instances during his stint in the business where he has let everyone know exactly what he thinks.

Sometimes fans have agreed with his opinions, while there have been other instances when people have been surprised to see him lash out. It has certainly added plenty of fire to him as a person though, which only helps to make the product more interesting overall.

8 Eric Bischoff

Eric Bischoff AEW

At one point it seemed like Eric Bischoff and Tony Khan were getting along swimmingly when Bischoff appeared on AEW television, but after he called CM Punk the biggest financial flop in wrestling, the AEW President lost his cool. During the post-Double Or Nothing press conference this year, Khan let Bischoff have a piece of his mind.

He went on a major rant about what Bischoff had to say, dropping F-bombs and making it clear he was passionate about the situation and the fact he did not agree with him, spouting plenty of facts about the business in what was a huge moment that got the wrestling world talking.

7 Hulk Hogan

Hollywood Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan is a controversial figure in the wrestling world due to his private life, but nobody would have known he was banned for life from AEW events until Tony Khan randomly lashed out on social media. When Linda Hogan made comments on social media in the aftermath of George Floyd's death, Khan took the chance to take a shot at them.

He made it clear that Linda was also banned from any potential AEW shows, claiming she had joined Hulk on that list. While he didn't go into the details on his personal feelings toward the Hulkster, it was very clear that he isn't a fan.

6 Nick Khan

WWE President Nick Khan

There are two major Khans in the wrestling world right now, and Tony has had no problem in calling him out as well, making it clear there should only be one in the business. He mocked reports that Nick had been talking with New Japan Pro Wrestling when he'd already had talent from the company appear.

He took a shot at him by listing off everything he had achieved with New Japan up until that point, adding that he was the only man for the Khan title in professional wrestling. It was a random call-out, but it certainly got the wrestling world buzzing at the time.

5 NWA

Tony Khan ROH

This wasn't just one person that Tony Khan lashed out on, but rather an entire company as he made it clear that he wasn't happy with how NWA explained their relationship. At the time the AEW President was sending wrestlers and paying for them to work for NWA, which he didn't think the company told people.

Khan wasn't happy about the situation, as he didn't believe that NWA made the situation clear, and he wanted that credit. Because of that, Khan let it all out in a rant, where he lashed out against the entire company.

4 Unknown Producer

The debut of Satnam Singh left a lot of wrestling fans disappointed, with AEW turning the lights off which led to fans expecting a big name to appear. It ended up being the debut of Singh, which was a flat situation, and Tony Khan admitted that it was a mistake.

However, rather than accepting it could have been better and moved on, Khan lashed out at another employee. While he didn't name-drop who it was, he claimed that it was someone with over 30 years of experience who made this call, passing the blame on them.

3 Jim Ross

Not everybody is going to agree about booking decisions, even those who are working in the same company, but most of the time fans would never know that as those disagreements are kept private. That isn't something that Tony Khan kept quiet though, as he revealed a backstage issue he and JR had.

The legendary commentator wasn't sure about Orange Cassidy at the start of AEW, and he voiced that opinion in a meeting with Khan. The AEW President disagreed, and he let JR know his thoughts, but he opted to not keep that argument to himself, sharing it with the world, for some reason.

2 Randy Orton

Randy Orton is one of the most respected men in the wrestling business, but that didn't stop Tony Khan from lashing out at him on social media as well. Orton had fired back at Khan for mocking WWE over the plane being stranded in Saudi Arabia, with the Viper bringing up an old article about the Khan family.

The AEW President didn't take things lightly though, claiming Orton only mentioned him when trying to get leverage for a new WWE deal, while also pointing out a racial slur Orton had used on a Twitch stream, making it clear he wouldn't take criticism laying down.

1 Big Swole

Big Swole in AEW

The most shocking moment of Tony Khan's time in charge of AEW was the handling of Big Swole departing the company. He opted not to keep her under contract, which was in his rights, and Swole made several comments about her time on the roster, stating AEW lacked diversity.

However, rather than just letting an ex-employee vent their frustrations and beliefs, Khan took to social media to lash out back at the wrestler. In a move that caught everyone off guard, he made it clear she wasn't re-signed because he didn't think she was good enough, which was a brutally honest moment that shocked the wrestling world.
