Six marquee WWE superstars are being advertisted for the Extreme Rules 2022 pay-per-view.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair, Drew McIntyre, Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins and The Usos — The Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions — are all being advertised for the event that will run on Oct. 8 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

This doesn't necessarily mean that all of these superstars will appear at the show. Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar were previously advertised for the July 2 Money in the Bank pay-per-view, but at this time, it doesn't look like either superstar will actually participate at the show.

Reigns is working less dates under his new WWE contract, so it's not too early to gues that he'll be absent from Extreme Rules 2022. Belair, McIntyre, Lynch, Rollins and The Usos are among the top main event stars in WWE, so it would be a surprise if either of them were absent from the card — especially if Reigns isn't competing.

But of course, WWE's plans can always change between now and October. The show is still almost four months away, after all. And the company hasn't been shy in using less star power on non-major pay-per-views.

WWE's Upcoming Pay-Per-View Schedule

Money in the Bank (at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada) is the next WWE pay-per-view. Four weeks later, WWE will run the major SummerSlam 2022 event at Nissan Stadium (home of the NFL's Tennnessee Titans) in Nashville, Tennessee. WWE will then perform Clash at the Castle on Sept. 3 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. This will mark the first WWE pay-per-view to run in the United Kingdom since SummerSlam 1992 (held inside the legendary Wembley Stadium in London, England).

Extreme Rules will take place after Clash at the Castle, followed by Crown Jewel on Nov. 5 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (the venue hasn't been announced yet) and Survivor Series on Nov. 26 in Boston, Massachusetts at the TD Garden.
