WWE held its post-Survivor Series press conference from Boston and Triple H was the final speaker of the media availability. Keeping with the theme of Survivor Series taking place around Thanksgiving, he came prepared with a statement of thanks for everyone involved in helping make this year's Survivor Series a record-breaking show. He mentioned the pay-per-view shattered a number of previous bests and looks forward to what the concept of the event might look like moving forward.

Before he was ever asked a question, The Head of Talent and current chief content officer for WWE thanked the people of TD Garden. He talked about going to the arena when it was first the Boston Garden and how important the building was to the event. Triple H said they had a complete sell-out with over 15,600 fans in attendance. He added the company kept opening up tickets to try and accommodate the demand and they simply couldn't fit anyone else. He noted, "Everything that we open up just kept selling, it's the largest gate that we've ever done here in Boston."

Triple H added that this year's event was the highest-grossing Survivor Series of all time. It was also the most-viewed Survivor Series of all time. "So, an incredibly successful night and as always, Boston here provided us with an unbelievable crowd," he said.

Why Was It So Successful?

Triple H said they reimagined the concept of the traditional five-on-five matchup and the Raw vs. SmackDown theme to the event. No doubt, that played a role in renewing interest from fans and the War Games component certainly intrigued much of the WWE Universe. The talent was full steam ahead on it too and he noted that War Games could be something they see as part of the show again in the future.

He called Survivor Series a staple of WWE and he said, "Tonight meant a lot, I think for all of us." He talked about blazing a new trail and remembering everything that came in front of it. He wanted to put Survivor Series and War Games together and having seen it be such a success meant a lot to him.
