There have been reports that Triple H is looking to "make a creative splash" at SummerSlam ever since taking over as head of WWE Creative. The WWE Hall of Famer and former head of NXT might have offered up a tease as to what that creative splash could be.

In responding to Seth Rollins' apology that he won't be having a match at SummerSlam, Triple H seems to have hinted that maybe Rollins won't be getting the night off after all. Rollins wrote on Twitter, "I did everything I could over the last 6 months to earn my spot on this show, but some things are out of my control. Thank you for always singing my song. They’ll hear ya someday." Triple H responded simply with, "I hear you!"

The comments section of Triple H's post was flooded with eyeball emojis and comments that fans would be getting a match after all. As for who the opponent will be, that is unclear, but it's also likely to be the "creative splash" that has been rumored over the past few days.

Some have suggested making the main event a Triple Threat Match, but that doesn't make a lot of sense considering the build for the Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar bout and suggests a total lack of logic to reward Rollins for his act against Riddle. Others have wondered if someone close to Triple H from his NXT days might make a comeback: Johnny Gargano's photo was popular in the thread.

Triple H's First Chance To Make A Real Impression

Whatever is happening here, this could be Triple H's first real opportunity to put his stamp on creative in WWE and in a high-profile way. Can he come up with something that will shock fans and give the WWE Universe something to really look forward to with Triple H at the head of the creative team?
