Countless wrestling fans were thrilled about the announcement that Hall of Famer Triple H (real name Paul Levesque) will serve as the new leader of WWE creative.

Last Friday, Vince McMahon announced his retirement from WWE following 40 years at the helm. His daughter, Stephanie McMahon, and WWE President Nick Khan will now serve as the co-CEOs of WWE. It was also announced that Triple H will be the new Head of Talent Relations (replacing John Laurinaitis). Subsequently, WWE also confirmed that he will lead the creative team as well.

Unsurprisingly, it sounds like Triple H doesn't want to wait too long to make a difference as far as WWE creative goes.

Citing a source, WrestleVotes reports that The Game "would like to make a creative splash at the event." It was noted that the splash would have to make make sense, and that Triple H will not "just do something to do it."

Roman Reigns Brock Lesnar SummerSlam

WWE likes to save big surprises for marquee events like WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, Money in the Bank and SummerSlam. Last year, fans were treated to the surprise returns of Becky Lynch and Brock Lesnar, who were both away from WWE programming for more than a year. Perhaps Triple H will look to bring back another marquee star for Saturday's event.

Another "creative splash" could feature Theory cashing in his Money in the Bank contract. On the post-Money in the Bank edition of Raw, Theory told Bobby Lashley that he plans to cash in against the winner of Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar.
