Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, And Gunther Set To Collide At Wrestlemania

Tonight, Drew McIntyre and his best friend/rival Sheamus clashed in the ring to decide who would get a shot at Gunther's Intercontinental Championship. The match was as hard-hitting as fans would expect a bout between these two to be. At one point, both men lay in the ring, exhausted, and the referee was forced to start a count.

When the referee reached 8, Imperium jumped into the ring and interrupted. Gunther's teammates, Ludwig Kaiser, and Giovanni Vinci attacked Sheamus and Drew, causing a disqualification. Imperium then left the ring, supposing that Gunther would not have to face anyone at Wrestlemania.

It was then that Smackdown GM Adam Pearce announced that Gunther would be defending his Intercontinental Championship against both Drew McIntyre and Sheamus on the grandest stage of them all.

Drew McIntyre is a former Intercontinental Champion. Meanwhile, Sheamus needs to win the Intercontinental Championship to become a WWE Grand Slam Champion. Fans will have to wait and see if either of them are able to topple the Ring General come Wrestlemania.
