There is no more infamous rivalry than that of Chuck and Tito Ortiz. The pair have matched up against each other 3 times - Chuck Liddell won twice and Tito once.

These former training partners turned rivals with their success in the UFC began to have bad blood, with chats about backroom training sessions that Chuck dominated Tito. Ortiz took offense to this and the two grew more resentful of each other through the media's drive for them to fight, which eventually grew into the biggest rivalry in UFC history.

In a recent tweet, Chuck Liddell revealed some of his favorite fighters from the modern era of the UFC. Of course, one of the first names on his list as well as everyone else's was Conor McGregor.

There is no doubt that Chuck respects the Irishman's one-shot knockout power and cocky post-fight interviews. McGregor lists Chuck as one of his early inspirations in the sport - he even has a picture from 2008, when he met Liddell before he was famous.

Chuck Liddell's first loss ever in MMA was at UFC 19 to Jeremy Horn. It's not something that Chuck remembers fondly, losing via arm triangle to the strong grappler. But Chuck knew he was more talented than Jeremy Horn and was determined to prove that to be true.

Losses are frustrating, especially for someone as talented as Chuck Liddell. He knew he had to avenge this loss and ended up getting a rematch against Jeremy Horn at UFC 54 which Chuck won via TKO.

Chuck coached Diego to win the middleweight division in the first season of The Ultimate Fighter. Chuck takes pride in another great career he helped launch into the UFC.

One of the greatest trilogies in MMA, Randy Couture vs Chuck Liddell is a historic matchup for so many reasons. A UFC Light Heavyweight belt was on the line at each one of their three fights and for their second meeting, they were opposing coaches on The Ultimate Fighter.

Randy won their first meeting via TKO which came as a surprise to everyone including Chuck. Chuck then came back and finished Randy in both their second and third bouts via KO.

In 2003, Chuck was sent over to Japan to fight in the Pride Middleweight Grand Prix. He was the pride of the UFC at the time and everyone wanted to see him match up against Wanderlei Silva.

Chuck has two wins over Renato "Babalu" Sobral, Chuck won the first fight via head kick KO on his ascent to his first Light Heavyweight Championship.

The UFC then picked Babalu for Chuck's third title defense. Chuck took offense to this seeing this as he had already decisively finished Babalu once. Chuck ended up knocking him out again and winning KO of the night and proving himself one of the greatest Light Heavyweight Champions ever.
