After confirming they'll be bringing back "Dark Side of the Ring" and with a much-anticipated debut of "Tales from the Territories" on the way, news that Vice TV will be working on a Vince McMahon documentary will make wrestling fans happy, especially those who are curious about McMahon's sudden retirement from the company.

PWInsider is reporting that they've confirmed a documentary is in the works. They write, "Vice TV is currently in the process of producing a new documentary on Vince McMahon, PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources who were interviewed for the project." They add, "The documentary will cover McMahon's career, including his retirement/resignation from WWE in the wake of the articles published by The Wall Street Journal." In other words, they'll talk about Vince's ascension in the sports entertainment industry but won't shy away from his controversial exit either.

PWInsider.com has also confirmed the documentary will air this October, which might come as a surprise because that means the footage has likely all been shot and the final touches are being put on the project. PWInsider reached out for comment with Vice TV, but did not get a response.

This Will Be Must-Watch

It will be hard to envision where the discussion will go when discussing Vince's departure. There is speculation, but there's not a lot of concrete information out there. Is Vice talking to the women that Vince was allegedly involved with? Considering they took a payout to stay quiet, one has to imagine they were not involved.

If the documentary doesn't go into depth about his exit, it is likely that fans will be disappointed. His rise as the biggest force in professional wrestling has been covered in detail a number of times in different productions. "Tales from the Territories," will begin airing on October 4, 2022.
