While most non-Japanese Stardom wrestling fans judge wrestlers off their in-ring ability, with promos not being as big of a deal due to the language barrier, and with a severe lack of English translations/commentary, one area that tends to get overlooked is that of the wrestling gear. Presentation remains a key for wrestlers across the world, regardless of promotion, as having good-looking gear is a strong factor for finding success.
With a smaller roster, there are under 50 wrestlers featured within Stardom on a regular basis, making it easier to narrow it down to who has the best gear in the company. Conversely, it means that there is an even tighter race to be recognized for the strongest wrestling looks!
10 Unagi Sayaka
At 32 years old, Unagi Sayaka is on the older side of the current Stardom Wrestling roster. A former Future of Stardom Champion and Artist of Stardom Champion, Unagi remains a popular star in the joshi promotion within Japan.
Currently part of the Cosmic Angels faction, Unagi stands aside a few other women in Stardom with their gimmicks basically summed up as being models with a killer side. Sporting some of the most vibrant, colorful gear in Stardom, Unagi's gear matches her personality and character, with it showing off a bit of skin while also having some crazy designs to match her in-ring style!
9 Saya Kamitani
Sitting comfortably in the upper echelon of women's wrestling, Saya Kamitani is often compared to NJPW's Kota Ibushi when it comes to her innovative, explosive in-ring offense. A member of the dominant Queen's Quest faction within Stardom, Saya stands alongside Utami Hayashishita, Lady C, and AZM as some of the top stars within the company.
Sporting the unique Queen's Quest style of attire, Saya's color scheme often uses greens, blues, and yellows, as her unique color scheme within the faction. The gear of the 25 year old remains some of the nicest-looking in Stardom.
8 Momo Watanabe
A longtime babyface star in the company, Momo Watanabe shocked joshi fans with her heel turn in late 2021. After being part of the Queen's Quest faction since 2016, she would attack AZM with a chair in late 2021, turning heel and joining the Oedo Tai faction in one of the most shocking moments in recent memory for Stardom.
Since turning heel, Momo has gone full goth with her new look. Sporting the purple and black colors of Oedo Tai, now dubbed the Dark Peach, Watanabe's new gear is some of her best looking, possibly even surpassing her look from her time in Queen's Quest!
7 Tam Nakano
The leader of the Cosmic Angels faction, Tam Nakanoleads the fan-favorite faction, leading herself and 8 other Stardom wrestlers within the company. With names like Saki, Natsupoi, Unagi Sayaka, and Mina Shirakawa, Nakano's stable of killers reigns supreme with the leader and Natsupoi currently holding the company's tag team titles.
As the leader of Cosmic Angels, Tam Nakano serves as the face of her all-female faction, and in doing so, she has to present herself as such. With some awesome purple and white gear, Nakano's look screams main-event star.
6 KAIRI
Easily the most well-known face in Stardom, KAIRI made her return to her home company in Japan during the Spring of 2022. After a mixed bag run in WWE, the Pirate Princess would kick off her homecoming in Stardom with a pair of matches during one of the company's biggest events in March 2022.
Keeping her Pirate gimmick, KAIRI would return to the company with the flair that fans have been used to for years, sporting her large pirate hat, steering wheel, and bright jacket! The former face of Stardom and former NXT Women's Champion would update her in-ring gear a bit, with it featuring more black than before, with the overall look being even better than before.
5 Utami Hayashishita
Arguably the greatest women's wrestler alive right now, Utami Hayashishita is the figurehead of the Queen's Quest faction. At only 23 years old, she remains a prodigy in the sport despite being one of the most well-rounded wrestlers already in her young career. Leading one of the most popular factions in the company, with a number of other great stars, Utami has crafted herself into quite the star already.
Sporting awesome red hair and matching red and black gear, Utami has the look of a superstar down pat while also being one of the most decorated stars in the company since joining in 2018. For fans that do not already know her, learning about and seeing Utami wrestle should be a top priority!
4 Thekla
One of the most recent signings to Stardom, the Toxic Spider would make her debut for the company in early 2022, debuting as a part of Giulia's DDM faction of tweeners. Currently, Thekla is the only signed Gaijin (non-Japanese) wrestler in the company, which immediately helps her stand out, with her unique in-ring style and gear helping even more.
Sporting a number of different gears, Thekla has ran with a number of different looks in the company, already going from blonde to brunette. Regardless of her hair color though, DDM's recent addition has one of the coolest looks in the company, both inside and outside of the ring.
3 Mayu Iwatani
The face and true ace of Stardom, Mayu Iwatani is one of the most important factors within the company. One could argue that without Iwatani, the company would not still be around, or would at least not be at the level that it has gotten to in recent years. Serving as the company's version of John Cena or Hiroshi Tanahashi, Iwatani has been the face of the brand for years now, and likely will go down as one of the biggest stars in Stardom history.
Decorated to the highest degree, Mayu Iwatani has held every single title in the company, aside from the Future of Stardom Championship. Sporting a number of different wrestling attires across her time within Stardom, the former World Of Stardom and Wonder of Stardom Champion remains one of the best dressed stars in the company.
2 Starlight Kid
One of the fastest rising stars in wrestling, 21-year-old Starlight Kid went from hero to baddie in recent years, aligning with Oedo Tai and becoming an exciting villain within the rising Joshi promotion. While Kid remains one of the youngest in the company, she is held in quite the high regard as she is known for putting on some of the best matches in the company.
On top of being a thrillingly great professional wrestler, Starlight Kid stands out as the one luchadora within Stardom. Sporting awesome masks, Starlight has several variants that she brings out for big events. Often colored black and purple to match her Oedo Tai faction, she has one of the best looks in Stardom today.
1 Giulia
Currently, Giulia is one of the most popular wrestlers in the Stardom Wrestling promotion. With one of the most marketable looks and being able to back it up inside of the ring, the leader of DDM has some of the highest potential in the company to become a bigger star. Whether it be jumping ship down the line to a bigger promotion internationally or helping to elevate Stardom even further, Giulia's future is bright.
Known for changing up her look on a regular basis, fans have seen Giulia go from long hair, to bald, to sporting colored dreadlocks on a regular basis. On top of that, she is a wrestler that never keeps the same gear for too long, regularly sliding into new attires over the course of a year. Fans would be hardpressed to find a wrestler in Stardom with better gear than Giulia.
