Chris Jericho is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time and somebody who has been around for over 30 years. In that time he has been able to compete against a wide variety of wrestlers in countless promotions. From top-tier WWE stars to WCW legends, as well as newer names in New Japan and AEW.

However, not even Y2J himself has been able to wrestle everyone. He has been able to tick a lot of names off the list, but there are certain wrestlers that Jericho has never been able to tangle with, despite the fact he is one of the biggest stars in the business.

10 James Storm

James Storm in NXT

James Storm is similar to Chris Jericho in the sense that he has been around the wrestling industry for many years, which is why it is surprising they have never crossed paths. Storm works an old-school style in the ring and that is something that would translate well against Jericho.

They are both natural storytellers and that is always a good thing when it comes to in-ring matches. At this point, it is unlikely this match will ever happen, but it would certainly be an interesting moment for people.

9 Karl Anderson

Karl Anderson AEW

Despite the fact that they have been on the same roster together in both WWE and AEW, Chris Jericho and Karl Anderson have never locked up. This is a huge match that should happen one day as their styles would likely connect together perfectly.

The two men have similar qualities and that could lead to an enjoyable singles bout at some stage. The two men have teamed up together in the past on Monday Night Raw, but they have never competed.

8 Minoru Suzuki

When Chris Jericho got the chance to compete in New Japan Pro Wrestling, the opportunity was there for him to work with Minoru Suzuki. He is one of the biggest names in the promotion and offers a totally different style to what Jericho is used to.

However, the two men never mixed it up during his time with the company. Even though Suzuki has opened the Forbidden Door and appeared in AEW, the two men have still never crossed paths which is surprising as this would be a major match.

7 Sammy Guevara

Sammy Guevara and Chris Jericho have obviously worked very closely together as members of The Inner Circle, but they haven't wrestled. This is a storyline AEW could tap into one day with a heel turn and that could be fun to see happen.

They would have great matches together as their styles would complement each other. Plus, the fact that Sammy is a talent on the rise would benefit him being able to work with someone like Jericho in the future.

6 Eddie Kingston

Another of AEW's top stars that Chris Jericho is yet to compete against is Eddie Kingston. This is a major storyline that is on the table for the company considering how popular both talents are, with each of them having the ability to be a heel or babyface.

While the in-ring work from these two would be interesting to watch. The promos between them would be something truly special. Both of them are incredible talkers and that is something that AEW needs to tap into at some point in the future.

5 EC3

Chris Jericho and EC3 never worked together during their respective WWE careers, which is mainly down to how poorly the latter was booked. However, now that both of them are gone from the company, there is a chance this could end up taking place.

EC3 is an excellent talker and a great wrestler, which would make him an excellent addition to the AEW roster at some point down the line. He and Jericho would work well together given their natural charisma, and one day, it might just happen.

4 Ricochet

Ricochet Mad

While Chris Jericho is no longer the highflying wrestler that he once was, his generation of wrestlers inspired the likes of Ricochet to break into the business. Because of that, seeing the two of them compete would be an iconic moment for the industry.

Seeing Ricochet flipping around the ring against Jericho's technical style could create something truly memorable. However, at this stage, it is unclear whether that will ever be able to happen due to them working in different places.

3 Rick Rude

Rick Rude was a top star of the wrestling industry throughout his time with the company and that is something that could have led to a great match with Chris Jericho. Seeing them work together would have been intriguing at the time as Jericho was a name on the rise.

Y2J was wrestling a high-flying style at the time and putting that against the more physical approach of Rude could have led to a great match. They would have been fun in the ring together, but this was one match that never happened.

2 Eugene

Eugene Cropped

Eugene is one of the most memorable talents of the Ruthless Aggression era, being someone who made himself a star during this period. Inside the ring, Eugene was able to put together great matches as he is a brilliant wrestler, but it was his character work that really got him over.

That was something that worked well for him and is also an area that Chris Jericho excelled at as well. Having them work a storyline could have been a great moment at the time, but it was something WWE never tapped into.

1 Tyler Breeze

Tyler Breeze

Tyler Breeze was at his peak in WWE when Chris Jericho was still around and they could have had a great match if given the opportunity. Breeze's character was great and inside the ring, he was able to work a great match with anybody.

The two of them would have put on a clinic, but surprisingly, they were never put together in a match during their careers. They didn't even work in a tag team scenario, with the two having not crossed paths.
