WrestleMania is the ultimate destination, where performer yearns to perform after becoming a professional wrestler. It is called the Grandest Stage of Them All for a reason. The colossal crowd, the energy, the mainstream spotlight, the atmosphere, and the setup make WrestleMania the greatest show in the pro-wrestling industry. Main-eventing the Show of Shows can turn a wrestler into a star, and a number of megastars have attained the feat.

Over the years, many wrestlers have performed at WrestleMania. But there are some former WWE names that have performed at the Showcase of Immortals that are unlikely to do it again due to various reasons.

10 Alberto Del Rio

Alberto Del Rio

Alberto Del Rio received a huge push in the early-2010s. He not only won the Royal Rumble match in 2011 but also became a four-time World Champion. The Mexican Superstar was also the Money in the Bank winner in 2011. He wrestled at WrestleMania a few times in his career.

Del Rio's relationship with WWE deteriorated after they released him for the second time in 2016. Given the relationship between him and the company, he is unlikely to be hired by the WWE, let alone competing at Show of Shows again.

9 Trish Stratus

Trish Stratus

In her prime, Trish Stratus was the face of the women's division. The seven-time Women's Champion featured in different WrestleMania events. She had Women's Championship matches at the Show of Shows, while her final WrestleMania match was in 2011.

Trish left her in-ring career as a full-time performer in 2006. Although she made sporadic appearances afterward, her final match was at SummerSlam 2019, where Charlotte Flair retired her. Trish is 46 years old now, and she is unlikely to wrestle again, especially at WrestleMania.

8 Triple H

HHH as WWE Champion

A WrestleMania without Triple H's grand entrance seems incomplete. But the fourteen-time World Champion hasn't wrestled at the past two WrestleMania events. Although he isn't retired yet, he has been dealing with some health issues as of late, putting a question mark over his possibility to wrestle again.

The Game recently experienced cardiac issues. He went through successful heart surgery. In the past few years, Triple H was only wrestling at a big event like WrestleMania. Given his current age, which is 52, and health issues, the fans might never see him step into the ring again at the Show of Shows.

7 Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania 30

Daniel Bryan had many memorable WrestleMania moments in his long WWE career. While he infamously lost the World Heavyweight Championship within 18 seconds at WrestleMania 28, he created history by winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship two years later. In fact, his final WWE PPV match was at WrestleMania 37, where he main-evented the show.

Despite headlining the biggest show of the year in 2021, Daniel Bryan didn't renew his WWE contract and went to AEW. Therefore, even if he returns to WWE in the future, it is improbable that he would ever get a spot at WrestleMania.

6 Sting

Sting at Wrestlemania

Being a WCW guy, Sting didn't have an opportunity to perform at WrestleMania until 2014. It was the first and only WrestleMania match of The Icon. After facing Triple H, he lost the match. Later, the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion retired due to an injury.

Currently, Sting is signed to AEW. WWE probably won't sign him again, nor he is going to have another match at WrestleMania. Moreover, he is over 60 years old, making him older than the likes of The Undertaker, Triple H, Goldberg, and many legendary names.

5 The Undertaker

Undertaker at Wrestlemania 33

The Undertaker was synonymous with WrestleMania when he was wrestling. The unbeaten streak of The Phenom made the event special. With an impressive WrestleMania record, he officially retired in 2020.

While many fans still want to see the iconic superstar wrestle, especially at WrestleMania, it is not going to happen after the retirement of The Deadman. He might make special appearances, but he certainly will never wrestle.

4 CM Punk

CM Punk

CM Punk had an aggrieved end to his WWE run back in 2014. He was fired on his wedding day in June 2014, making it one of the most infamous exits in WWE history. Punk tried his hand in MMA, but with no prior experience in legitimate martial arts, he was humiliated twice in UFC.

Even though he said after leaving WWE that he lost his passion for wrestling, he returned to the squared circle seven years later in 2021, making his debut for AEW. Now, Punk is arguably the most popular star in AEW. Punk's biggest regret is not main-eventing WrestleMania, and it is not likely to happen considering his grudge against WWE.

3 AJ Lee

AJ Lee

AJ Lee was the face of the Divas division in her heyday. She won the Divas Championship three times in her career. Despite being in her late-20s, AJ Lee retired as a wrestler. Her final PPV match was at WrestleMania 31.

While she suffered a career-threatening cervical spine issue, her husband, CM Punk's departure also played a role to end her WWE career. With that in mind, she is not going to have a match at WrestleMania. She might surprise fans at Women's Royal Rumble matches in the future, but a WrestleMania match is implausible.

2 Ryback

Ryback WWE

Ryback rose to fame after getting a main event level push in the early-2010s. His WWE Championship feud with CM Punk was certainly the highlight of his career. Ryback even competed in four WrestleMania matches.

Currently, Ryback doesn't have a good relationship with WWE and Vince McMahon. He has publicly criticized the company numerous times, so WWE is not going to work with him. He will not have another WrestleMania match.

1 Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania

There are two main reasons why Chris Jericho will never compete at WrestleMania again. First, he is 51 years old, meaning he doesn't have many years left as a performer. Second, he is currently an integral part of AEW, and the first-ever AEW World Champion.

Jericho recently opened the forbidden door and made an appearance on Stone Cold Steve Austin's podcast in WWE. However, it doesn't mean he would get a WrestleMania match in the future.
