The wrestling world has been showing its support for Jon Moxley following the news he has entered an alcohol treatment program.

Tony Khan shared a short series of tweets on Tuesday revealing Jon Moxley has been admitted into an alcohol treatment program. “Jon is making a very brave choice to get help, and we’re embracing his choice and supporting him however we can,” reads one of the tweets from the AEW boss.

The Wrestling World Is With Jon Moxley

While Khan was the first to publicly share his support for Moxley as he was trusted to share the news, he was far from the last. Tweets wishing Moxley well on his journey and showing support for the decision he has made have been flooding in. Doc Gallows, Britt Baker, and Jade Cargill are just a few of the stars who have posted their support in the replies to Khan's thread.

The public support for Moxley isn't restricted to those connected to WWE alone. Sean Waltman, perhaps better known to wrestling fans as X-Pac, tweeted, “Love To The Moxley Family.” Waltman has been very open about his own battles with addiction, having been to rehab himself. He also serves as living proof that there is life after addiction, even in the wrestling business.

The List Goes On And On

The list of wrestlers showing their support for Moxley following this news goes on and on. Taz, Powerhouse Hobbs, Kip Sabian, and Sting have all tweeted in response to the news broken by Khan. It's also very likely that many more have reached out to Moxley directly, especially since the former AEW Champion isn't really all that into social media.

Moxley wrestled on last week's Dynamite, defeating Preston Vance in the first round of a tournament to decide the next number one contender for the AEW Title. It's likely a replacement for Moxley in the tournament will be announced on Dynamite tonight, or someone will get a bye straight to the final. That's not important right now. What is important is the health and well-being of Mox. We wish him all the best, and the same goes for Renee Paquette and their daughter.
