The Immortal Hulk Hogan is one of the most legendary performers in all of professional wrestling. He was the benchmark of the industry during his rise to superstardom in WWE, and he went on to make a huge name for himself by holding the WWE Championship on many occasions, including a reign that lasted over 1400 days.

Apart from WWE, Hogan went on to establish his dominance in WCW as well, and in the process, he gained lots of friends and an equal amount of adversaries over the years. ''

With that said, let's take a look at five wrestlers who loved Hulk Hogan and five who used to hate him.

10 Hates - Scott Steiner

Scott Steiner is one person who always had tons of hatred for Hulk Hogan over the years. The two never saw eye-to-eye right from their time together in WCW, and their issues became even worse when Steiner criticized Hogan's involvement with Impact Wrestling.

Steiner reportedly made various allegations against Hogan while promoting the Impact Wrestling Slammiversary event. He also allegedly told Dixie Carter that Hogan would run her out of business.

Their issues turned out to be so severe that WWE had to ban Steiner from the 2015 Hall of Fame ceremony, where Hogan inducted the late Macho Man Randy Savage.

9 Loves - Hacksaw Jim Duggan

Hulk Hogan and Hacksaw Jim Duggan shared a very close friendship during their time working together in WWE and WCW. Both wrestlers were popular during that time, and they eventually became so close backstage that Duggan gave him his utmost loyalty during that time.

Hulk Hogan repaid Jim Duggan's respect by making sure the latter had a job with WCW when the two moved on to sign with the company. Duggan even defended Hogan during the leaked tape scandal, and that shows how far the former was willing to go to prove his friendship to Hogan.

8 Hated - Ric Flair

While they might be good friends at present, Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan never saw eye-to-eye during their time together in WCW. Their problems stemmed from the fact that Hogan took over Flair's spot as the top star of WCW immediately upon arriving at the promotion, which also resulted in Flair losing a lot of momentum in his bookings.

The issues still persisted between them even after WWE purchased WCW in 2001, but the two managed to bury the hatchet and eventually worked together once again in Impact Wrestling.

7 Loved - Jimmy Hart

Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Hart's friendship dates back to the time when the latter managed Hogan in WWE. They developed a close bond with each other, and Hogan trusted Hart as a personal friend and business advisor and confided with him on many occasions.

Hogan took Jimmy Hart with him to WCW, where the latter also held some backstage roles with the company. The two legends are still close to each other, and we can see Jimmy Hart in Hulk Hogan's corner whenever the latter makes a return to WWE.

6 Hated - Jesse Ventura

Hulk Hogan and Jesse "The Body" Ventura had a very strained relationship after the former refused to side with him in his attempts to form a union to stand against WWE's questionable practices.

Ventura is well-known for filing a lawsuit against WWE over unpaid royalties and ended up winning the case. Ventura wanted the support of fellow WWE wrestlers to protest against the management, but since Hogan refused, many wrestlers sided with The Immortal as he was the biggest star of the company at the time, which was the root cause of the strained relationship between the two.

5 Loved - The Big Show

The Big Show owes it to Hulk Hogan for introducing him to the world of professional wrestling, as it was the Immortal who identified The World's Largest Athlete at a gym and persuaded him to consider a career in pro wrestling, and got him a job with WCW.

He made his WCW debut as The Giant, the son of Andre The Giant, who's looking to exact revenge against his father's rival, Hulk Hogan. The Big Show had a tremendous start to his career, and he soon went on to reach main event status with WCW and even win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, and he's still thankful to Hogan to this day for giving him the opportunity.

4 Hated - Bret Hart

When Hulk Hogan made his intentions clear that he was leaving WWE for WCW in 1993, WWE wanted him to put over Bret Hart, who they had chosen to be the next face of the company. However, Hogan refused to do the job, which was the starting point of their rocky relationship.

The rivalry continued after Bret Hart signed with WCW as he didn't receive the kind of opportunities he got in WWE and was eventually placed as Hogan's sidekick in the nWo Hollywood faction, which damaged all the star power Hart had earned in WWE.

3 Loved - Kurt Angle

It was evident that Hulk Hogan had lots of respect for the Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle when The Immortal put Angle over in a match in which the latter defeated Hogan by submission, the first person to defeat Hogan in that way.

Their mutual respect continued throughout their time together in WWE, and it also continued when they reunited once again in Impact Wrestling. Hogan made Angle a huge part of his plans for the company, and the two still have lots of respect for each other.

2 Hated - Shawn Michaels

Shawn Michaels' problems with Hulk Hogan began when the two started feuding in time for the 2005 SummerSlam PPV. Michaels reportedly wanted the feud to continue for three matches, in which he wanted to get over.

HBK was open to losing to Hogan at SummerSlam 2005 provided he accepted the long-term storyline, but The Hulkster refused to put HBK over. It resulted in Michaels hilariously overselling Hogan's every move in their match at SummerSlam, which made him look a little petty.

1 Loved - Kevin Nash

This one's a no-brainer as Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash worked closely together for many years as part of the New World Order faction alongside Scott Hall, and, naturally, they developed a mutual admiration.

Both Hogan and Nash are known for the level of backstage influence they possessed, but they made sure they never turned on each other and continued to be good friends over the years.

Nash and Hogan still make appearances together whenever possible, and they also appeared together during the occasional nWo reunions that took place in WWE.
