Some wrestlers are not just known for their success as singles stars, some are known for having success in tag teams. These wrestlers managed to strike gold with at least three different partners.

Tag team Wrestling hasn't been strong in WWE for several years. That's why a lot of wrestlers who have been competing in singles action have formed makeshift tag teams with other wrestlers and gone on to clinch Tag Team Championship gold. However, some wrestlers are excellent tag team wrestlers, and they have excelled with the partnerships they have formed.

Sometimes, the Tag Team Championship has been featured in marquee feuds between two wrestlers challenging for a World Championship. It certainly puts the spotlight on tag team wrestling, when it features in marquee feuds. Nonetheless, some wrestlers have proven that they cannot settle with one partner. They have learned to form new partnerships, and more Tag Team Championship gold came their way.

12 Kane

Kane's career has been filled with many memorable moments. The Big Red Machine had an outstanding career. He is also one of the most prolific tag team competitors in WWE history. Kane has won Tag Team Championship gold 12 times with seven different partners.

The former World Champion won tag titles twice with X-Pac, Big Show, and Mankind. He's also teamed up with Rob Van Dam, Daniel Bryan, and The Hurricane. However, The Undertaker has been his most successful tag team partner as they won the Tag Team Championship three times.

11 Kofi Kingston

No man in WWE history has held a Tag Team Championship longer than Kofi Kingston. Kofi has done extremely well as both a single and as a tag team competitor. Kingston is a record-tying 14-time Tag Team Champion.

He won his first Tag Team Championship with CM Punk in 2008. Kingston also won the WWE Tag Team Championship with Evan Bourne and R-Truth. However, he has captured 11 Tag Team Championships with fellow New Day members Big E and Xavier Woods. The New Day went on to become the longest-reigning Tag Team Champions at 483 days.

10 Chris Jericho

The chunk of Chris Jericho's success has come as a singles star. Y2J is a six-time WWE World Champion and a future WWE Hall of Famer. However, Jericho has done superbly well as a Tag Team Champion.

Jericho is a seven-time WWE Tag Team Champion with five different partners. All his partners were also World Champions. Chris Benoit, The Rock, and Christian were the first three wrestlers that he won tag team gold with. In the summer of 2009, Jericho won the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship with Edge. During their reign, Edge sustained an Achilles injury, and Big Show stepped in as Edge's replacement to form Jeri-Show.

9 The Rock

The Rock is one of the biggest names to grace a WWE ring. While the Great One is a 10-time World Champion, he's also a five-time WWE Tag Team Champion. Rock won the WWE Tag Team Championship with Mankind. Although, the Rock 'n' Sock Connection only held the gold for a measly 15 days in their three reigns.

Rock won the WWE Tag Team Championship for a fourth time with The Undertaker in December 2000. His last tag team title reign came in 2001 when he was feuding with Chris Jericho.

8 John Cena

John Cena isn't a tag team specialist by any stretch of the imagination. The leader of the Cenation has clinched WWE Tag Team Championship gold four times with four different partners. What's ironic about Cena's tag title reigns is that he's won the gold with rivals.

Shawn Michaels, Batista, David Otunga, and The Miz are the wrestlers that Cena clinched tag team gold with. The 16-time WWE World Champion also has the unwanted record of having the shortest Tag Team Championship reign with The Miz that lasted nine minutes in 2011.

7 Shawn Michaels

In 1997, Shawn Michaels made history as the first man to become a Grand Slam Champion. The Heartbreak Kid is one of the all-time greats, and whilst, he tore it up in singles matches, he did a superb job as a Tag Team Champion.

Along with Diesel, Michaels won the WWE Tag Team Championship twice. He also won the Tag Team Championship with Steve Austin in May 1997. Michaels secured a fourth tag team title run with John Cena in 2007. The Showstopper and Triple H finally became Tag Team Champions together in 2009 on HBK's swansong before retirement in 2010.

6 The Undertaker

The Undertaker is a seven-time Tag Team Champion, and he has teamed up with some iconic legends. The Deadman won the Tag Team Championship for the first time with his rival Steve Austin at Fully Loaded: In Your House in 1998.

They were only champions for 15 days. Undertaker captured two brief WWE Tag Team Championships with Big Show in 1999. Undertaker had a cup of coffee of a Tag Team title run with The Rock in December 2000. Moreover, Undertaker's most successful tag team championship partner was Kane. The Brothers of Destruction won both WWE and WCW Tag Team variation of the titles three times in 2001.

5 The Miz

There's no doubt that The Miz's best tag team partner is John Morrison. Miz won three different types of Tag Team Championships with Morrison. Their most recent title run together was the SmackDown Tag Team Championship in 2020.

Miz became Unified WWE Tag Team Champion with Big Show, while Miz was in the possession of the United States Championship in early 2010. Miz also had stints as a Tag Team Champion with John Cena, Damien Mizdow, and Shane McMahon which were not successful.

4 Edge

Edge is one of the greatest wrestlers to transition from a successful tag team into becoming a major singles star. The Rated-R Superstar is a 14-time WWE Tag Team Champion which is an astonishing record. Half of Edge's tag team title runs have come with his best friend Christian.

Edge added seven more tag team title runs to his cabinet. He won two tag team titles with Chris Benoit, and he was the Unified WWE Tag Team Champion with Chris Jericho. Former World Champions Hulk Hogan, Rey Mysterio, and Randy Orton were the other magnificent partners that Edge struck gold with.

3 Steve Austin

WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin was one of the biggest stars in the Attitude Era alongside The Rock. The Texas Rattlesnake is a six-time WWE Champion. However, he's also won four Tag Team Championships with four of the biggest names in the business.

Shawn Michaels and Dude Love were Austin's Tag Team Championship winning partners in 1997. A year later, Austin clinched gold with The Undertaker, who is one of his biggest rivals. However, Austin formed an unlikely alliance with Triple H in 2001. The Two-Man Power Trip was WWE Tag Team Champions for a month, but their time together was short-lived with Triple H tearing his quad.

2 Big Show

Big Show is one of the most dominant performers in the wrestling industry. The World's Largest Athlete has carved out a successful career, wherever he has gone. Show is no stranger to wearing Tag Team Championship around his waist.

Show has won Tag Team Championship gold in WWE eight times. His first two Tag Team Titles reigns were with The Undertaker. The Deadman took Show under his wing in 1999. Show won two Tag Team Titles with Kane in 2005 and 2011. Moreover, Show won the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship with both Chris Jericho and The Miz.

It's crazy to think that Seth Rollins hasn't won a championship in almost two years, but surely that's going to change at some stage in 2022. Rollins has shown his versatility throughout his WWE career as a main eventer, and as a tag team competitor.

The Visionary is a joint-record six-time holder of the Raw Tag Team Championship. Rollins won three of his Tag Team Titles with his Shield teammates Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. He's also had short-lived Tag Team Title reigns with Jason Jordan, Braun Strowman, and with Murphy.
