With so many ways to access wrestling promotions all over the world, title belts have begun to flood the social media pages of wrestlers all over the world. While the big names companies like WWE and AEW still sit comfortably atop the world of wrestling, not all of their championship belts are the best looking in the wrestling world.

While a ton of wrestling belts are "okay" or "passable" in 2022, there are a few that stand out for how great or awful they look. This list will examine the five best and five worst-looking championship belts in the entire world of wrestling.

10 Best: NXT Championship

WWE NXT championship

NXT has sometimes outshone the main brands of the WWE in terms of content. With more five-star matches and more creative storylines, NXT continues to be an incubator for the entire world of wrestling. The current NXT Champion, Bron Breakker, seems destined for big things.

The NXT Championship also looks better than most of the belts on the WWE's main roster. With the huge "X" and modern design, it's quickly become one of the favorites in the entire wrestling world.

9 Worst: IWGP World Heavyweight Championship

IWGP World Heavyweight Championship

NJPW has some of the best wrestlers on the entire planet. Jay White, the current holder of the title, has huge expectations and the former champion, Kazuchika Okada, has the record (with Kenny Omega) for the highest-rated wrestling match of all time, according to Dave Meltzer.

Unfortunately, the company's word title is just plain awful. It looks like a cross between a toy and the awful "butterfly" WWE Diva's title. It's way too tacky for the insane prestige it holds.

8 Best: AAA World Heavyweight Championship

AAA World Heavyweight Championship

The AAA World Heavyweight Championship has maintained a classic look that has aged well for the title. In an era where belts are way too focused on color and not enough gold, this belt instantly appeals to audiences as an important strap worth pursuing.

As belts continue to evolve, a title with an NFT attached to it is probably somewhere around the corner, the AAA World Heavyweight Championship will always hold value in the wrestling world and its current look holds its worth in 2022.

7 Worst: WWE Tag Team Titles

These are arguably the worst wrestling belts in the history of the WWE. How has the "Fruit Roll-Up strap" tag team titles not been updated? Both titles look like a custom belt from an early Playstation 2 wrestling game that had limited options.

Considering the WWE has a history of legendary tag champions that are on par with any company, these belts are way too cartoonish to be considered a prize in the wrestling business.

6 Best: AEW Women's World Championship

AEW Women's World Championship

The new version of the AEW Women's World Championship has only existed for a few months, but is already one of the best-looking women's titles of all time, for any promotion. If not for the recent upgrade to the look, the AEW Women's World Championship would be one of the worst.

The original title looked more like a bracelet or a watch. AEW has been trying to bolster its very unbalanced women's division and this title is a great step forward. The big blocky look makes this belt stand out in the sea of smaller championship titles today.

5 Worst: ROH World Championship

ROH World Championship

Claudio Castagnoli finally won a world title. Unfortunately for him, he won one of the worst-looking world titles in the entire world of wrestling. The ROH World Championship has been held by a ton of legends, but unlike many of those legends, this belt has failed to evolve with time.

If a robot was commissioned to make a belt, the ROH World Championship is what the belt would look like. No swag, no soul, just a bunch of big letters and random wrestlers placed about. Hopefully, this title will have a positive update like Claudio.

4 Best: WWE Championship Belt

The only problem with the current WWE Championship belt is that too many other belts look just like it. The "law of diminishing returns" quickly comes into play when you see the Universal title that has the same design with a blue strap. Still, the look of this title holds a ton of value.

It's massive and showcases the WWE logo very well. It has earned its place in the legacy of WWE titles. If only it stood alone in the WWE.

3 Worst: AAA World Tag Team Championship

AAA World Tag Team Championship

AAA has produced some of the best tag team units in the history of wrestling. FTR, one of the hottest tag teams in 2022, currently holds the titles adding to the legacy. Unfortunately, the AAA World Tag Team Championships look like cheap belts from a defunct wrestling company.

There is way too much prestige associated with these belts for them to have such an apathetic look. The belts are forgettable and boring, which is the opposite of a AAA tag team match.

2 Best: AEW World Championship

AEW world heavyweight championship

AEW has risen to the top of the wrestling world in just a few years. The content is top-notch and has already produced as many five-star matches as the WWE within just a few years. The AEW World Championship is also a head turner.

Since its introduction, the title has been regarded as one of the best-looking belts in all of wrestling. As the company continues to grow its audience and launch new and old superstars, this AEW World Championship belt will always stand out in the crowd as a major prize in the wrestling industry.

1 Worst: Impact Digital Media Championship

Impact Digital Media Championship

Impact has solid looking wrestling titles. The one stain on their great assortment is the Impact Digital Media Championship. The computer motherboard look is a great idea, but is so poorly executed in this belt that it loses staying power upon viewing.

The title itself is a fun step forward for the company, but this tiny wristband-looking belt is not the right look. The tiny lettering also makes the Impact Digital Media Championship look way too much like a toy to be taken seriously.
