Nick Aldis and Mickie James got married in 2015 and have a son together. The couple first met each other during their time together in Impact Wrestling, and Aldis revealed how he met Mickie James for the first time during an interview with Chris Van Vliet.

Aldis revealed that Mickie James walked past him backstage, and he couldn't help but check her out. He had quite the excited look on his face, which prompted his tag team partner Doug Williams to jokingly say, put your tongue back in your mouth. They had their first conversation during a backstage promo picture session, and soon it developed into a beautiful relationship.

Naomi also recalled another incident about Jimmy Uso pulling her aside to let her know that it was rude and disrespectful to leave training without helping the others break down the ring and clean up the locker room since she was new.
