Formation of stables has always been one of the solutions for wrestling promotions to give adequate screen time to multiple wrestlers and also give the fans some iconic moments by pairing up legendary wrestlers together. Likewise, the fans have witnessed the formation of some of the most iconic stables across various promotions like WWE, AEW, or WCW and their feuds against equally talented performers.

Wrestlers might have different reasons for forming the stables as they could look to team up to assert their dominance in the competition or join hands to fight a common enemy. But there are certain factions that were formed especially to feud with other factions. With that said, let's take a look at six such stables that were formed for similar reasons.

6 Team BAD & Team PCB

Team BAD v Team Bella v Team PCB SummerSlam 2015 Cropped

Stephanie McMahon announced the beginning of the WWE Women's Revolution in 2015 and brought in future women's champions like Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch to the main roster. While Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair aligned themselves with Paige to form Team P.C.B., Sasha Banks acted as if she was going to join their ranks before turning on them to side with Tamina and Naomi to form Team B.A.D.

The two stables started feuding against each other while also going against The Bella Twins and Alicia Fox. The three teams continued to feud against each other until Team P.C.B. imploded after Paige turned on Charlotte Flair after the latter defeated Nikki Bella to win the Divas Championship at Night of Champions 2015.

5 Evolution (Reunited)

Evolution v The Shield Extreme Rules 2014 Cropped

Triple H and the Authority entered a heated rivalry against The Shield in 2014. The Hounds of Justice got the initial upper hand when they defeated The New Age Outlaws and Kane in a six-man tag team match at WrestleMania 30. Triple H had to come up with another idea to overcome his new adversaries, and he answered The Shield's challenge by reuniting Evolution with Randy Orton and Batista for the sole reason of feuding with Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Seth Rollins.

The feud culminated at the 2014 Payback event, where Reigns, Rollins, and Ambrose defeated Triple H, Randy Orton, and Batista in a No Holds Barred elimination match, following which Batista quit WWE to end Evolution.

4 The Union

The Union

The Big Show made his WWE debut back in March 1999 and aligned himself with The Corporation faction. He represented the heel faction at WrestleMania 15, where he took on Mankind for the opportunity to be the guest referee for the main event WWE Championship match between Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock.

However, he lost the match by disqualification, which resulted in Shane McMahon kicking The Big Show out of The Corporation. The Big Show then became part of The Union faction alongside Mankind, Ken Shamrock, and Test to feud against The Corporation, which later became The Corporate Ministry. But the group didn't last long as they went their separate ways after Mankind had to take time off to undergo surgery and after Vince McMahon revealed himself as the Higher Power in the Corporate Ministry.

3 The Pinnacle

Inner Circle and Pinnacle in AEW

MJF and Wardlow became members of Chris Jericho's Inner Circle faction after MJF defeated Jericho at the Full Gear 2020 to earn his right to become a part of the team. He and Wardlow represented the group for the next few months, but when Sammy Guevara caught him having private meetings with fellow members Jake Hager, Santana, and Ortiz, trying to overthrow Jericho as the leader, The Inner Circle kicked MJF out of the group.

The New World Order might have been a united faction at the outset, but by the time of its implosion in 1998, the addition of various members to the team led to the creation of unofficial groups among the members.

After showing weeks of tension, the nWo disbanded, and the members formed spinoff versions of the group with Kevin Nash forming nWo Wolfpac with Sting, Lex Luger, Randy Savage, and Konnan while the other members remained with Hogan in nWo Hollywood. The two groups started feuding against each other and took various forms over the years, and remained a vital part of WCW television.

1 Dogs Of War

Dogs Of War

The Dogs of War was a forgotten and short-lived WWE faction, which was formed to feud against The Shield in 2018. The members of the group were Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre, and Dolph Ziggler, who joined forces to battle against the newly reformed Shield.

Strowman formed the partnership after Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins prevented him from cashing in the MITB contract on Roman Reigns. The two groups came to blows on multiple occasions, with The Shield getting the first victory at Super ShowDown 2018. The Dogs of War defeated Reigns, Rollins, and Ambrose on the Raw after the Super ShowDown event, which led to one final match between the stables on the October 15, 2018, episode of Raw, where The Shield picked up the win.
