WWE's penultimate pay-per-view of the year rolls inTO Texas on Sunday night as the SmackDown roster take centre stage.

As with every other TLC event over the past few years, all matches on the card are stipulated, and this year's event sees a Chairs, Ladder, TLC, and No Disqualification matches already announced to be taking place.

AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose will end their on-going rivalry on Sunday night when they compete in a TLC match with the WWE Championship on the line. The Tag Team Championships will also be on the line as Heath Slater and Rhyno defend against the unlikely duo of Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt and the Intercontinental Championship will be on the line in a Ladder match between The Miz and Dolph Ziggler.

Becky Lynch also defends her SmackDown Women's Championship against Alexa Bliss in what is set to be an incredible showdown between two of the best female talent that SmackDown has to offer in a Tables match.

Here are 10 of the boldest predictions ahead of what should be an epic final pay-per-view of the year for the SmackDown roster.

10. Carmella And Nikki Will Finally End Their Feud

It has been a feud that the WWE Universe has bared witness to over the past few months and it seems that a no disqualification match between Nikki Bella and Carmella could be the match to finally end the bad blood between them.

Nikki blames Carmella for the fact that she was attacked ahead of the Women's Traditional Elimination match at Survivor Series a few weeks ago, but it is thought that Carmella wasn't actually the one who attacked her. That person could well be returning and making themselves known this Sunday. Either way, this will be the end of the feud between these two and the beginning of a new one for Nikki.

9. The Undertaker Will Be There In Spirit

The Undertaker made an appearance on SmackDown Live a few weeks ago and stated that he would go after whoever it was that cost SmackDown the victory at Survivor Series. It was believed that this would then lead to a match for The Deadman, but SmackDown actually ended up winning.

That being said, Shane McMahon made a point of stating that when Dean Ambrose helped his Shield brothers to powerbomb AJ Styles, he didn't know that SmackDown would be winning that match. Could The Undertaker be about to challenge Ambrose to a match at the Royal Rumble? Could this be set up this Sunday?

8. Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton Will Become Tag Team Champions

Let's be honest, Rhyno and Heath Slater only became Tag Team Champions so that Slater could finally be awarded that WWE contract and end what had been a lengthy storyline. The duo were never supposed to hold the titles for this long and with all the talent currently in the SmackDown Tag Team Division, it is a shock that they have.

Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt are creating their own waves as a team and it seems that they could be about to lift the Tag Team Championship in a few days time. This new attitude of Randy's has served him well so far, and it would be great to see Bray Wyatt finally lift a WWE Championship.

7. There Will Be Filler Tag Team Matches

Much like Survivor Series, there have only been six matches officially unveiled for the event on Sunday night. These matches have three hours to fill, which means that each one would have to be half an hour each and that doesn't factor in the kickoff show matches either.

The SmackDown Tag Team Division could easily be called in for many filler matches on the night so that fans will be able to see American Alpha and The Usos in action, despite the fact that they aren't actually fighting for the Tag Team Championships.

6. James Ellsworth Will Be In Dean's Corner

This is a slightly bold prediction, especially considering what happened to the newest member of the SmackDown roster on Tuesday night. James Ellsworth and Dean Ambrose have created a bond and it seems that they have actually become friends and James will do anything to help Ambrose win the title.

The problem here is that while James has great intentions going into the match, these rarely go the way he intends them too. Sadly for him, much like last time, he could end up costing Dean the match, which could then finally add to an Ambrose heel turn.

5. Alexa Bliss Will Become SmackDown Women's Champion

Not only is Alexa Bliss one of the most improved female wrestlers on the SmackDown roster, she could well be the best female wrestler there al together. Alexa has been the stand out performer in her rivalry with Becky Lynch and this could finally be her moment.

Bliss is yet to win a WWE title and unlike Monday Night Raw, the Blue Brand has only had one female champion since the Brand Split back in July and have built up credibility for that belt. This is the first ever female Tables match in WWE and it could well be a memorable night for the Blissful one.

4. Kalisto Will Finally Get His Revenge

There's a famous saying that goes 'There is nothing more dangerous than a man who has nothing to lose.' Kalisto has been injured by Baron Corbin and after being on the sidelines for a number of weeks, the former NXT star then cost Kalisto the Cruiserweight Championship at Survivor Series a few weeks ago.

Kalisto has nothing left to lose and everything to gain when he steps into the ring with Baron Corbin in a Chairs match on Sunday night. Kalisto deserves to extract some form of revenge on Corbin after the abuse he has suffered over the past few months and this could finally be his chance.

3. Eva Marie Will Make Her WWE Return

It's the news that no WWE fan wants to hear, but it was reported a few weeks ago that Eva Marie can make her WWE return at any point now because she has returned to the company after filming was wrapped on Inconceivable.

It is thought that Eva Marie will be the one who is unveiled on Sunday Night as the person who attacked Nikki Bella at Survivor Series. Nikki and Eva will then embark on a feud that could hopefully lift Eva up to the level of many other SmackDown women and help her gain the respect of the WWE Universe.

2. Dolph Ziggler Will Lift the Intercontinental Championship

This is more of a want than an actual prediction. It's sad because Miz is a great champion, but I prefer the belt on Dolph Ziggler. 'The Show Off' has proved that he has the pedigree to be a champion at the highest level and it's horrible knowing that WWE doesn't agree with this.

The feud between Dolph and Miz has been going on now for a number of months and like many others on Sunday night, this could well be the final match between the duo. Either man could come out on top and while Maryse gives The Miz the edge here, Dolph will probably be the one to come out on top.

1. AJ Styles Will Retain His WWE Championship

AJ Styles has been one of the most entertaining Superstars on the SmackDown roster over the past few months and there is no way that WWE could be thinking of taking the WWE World Championship away from him after the way he has acted throughout the storyline with James Ellsworth.

Dean Ambrose has much bigger storylines coming his way, while AJ Styles could be set to face The Undertaker at the Royal Rumble in just over a months time. Styles deserves to retain and will continue to be a stand-out Champion for the rest of the year.
