This week's WWE Raw saw the King of the Ring and Queen's Crown tournaments continue. Ricochet would battle with Xavier Woods while Jinder Mahal took on Kofin Kingston. Meanwhile, Shayna Baszler and Doudrop advanced. Also on the show, Mansoor and Mustafa Ali are no longer a team, Omos destroyed Riddle, Austin Theory picked up a big win and the top women in WWE couldn't get along at all. Finally, Drew McIntyre and Big E battled it out to close the show.

Here are your winners and losers for Monday Night Raw, October 11, 2021:

Winner: Xavier Woods vs. Ricochet

The first of the King of the Ring matches on Monday, this match set the night off on the right foot. Xavier Woods might be the underdog favorite to win as he's publicly talked about how much he'd like to. As such, the outcome was somewhat predictable. Still, this was a good match. Both men got to show off a little and this is kind of what the King of the Ring tournament is all about.

Woods might be the big winner here if this is a start of a strong run for him as a singles wrestler. He's one of WWE's most underrated workers and if this is a showcase to give him an opportunity, he's absolutely deserving of it.

Winner/Loser: Mansoor and Ali Split

WWE has a tendency to rush tandems breaking up and it's hard to understand why. There are easily built-in storylines ready to be taken advantage of when one partner turns on the other and creative has been booking the friction for weeks between these two. A short match where Ali gave up on his partner was not the way to have this angle pay off. If there's more, that's one thing. If this was the breakup, why not hold off on the split until WWE had time to give it the television time it deserved?

WWE did kind of make up for the short match with a backstage segment later in the show where Ali attacked Mansoor and really hammered home their partnership was over.

Loser: Shayna Baszler

For the second week in a row, Baszler failed to take out her opponent in the same fashion as she did Niz Jax and Eva Marie. It was one of the things that was setting her apart with her character and WWE promoted her actions before her Queen's Crown matchup with Dana Brooke. The good thing here is that the match was short and hammered home the fact that Baszler is dominant. Unlike the other Queen's Crown matches that were way too short for no reason, this made sense.

Winner/Loser: Omos Defeats Riddle

This was an interesting segment for a couple of reasons. One, WWE was clearly trying to push Omos as a devastating force while protecting how green he is in the ring. AJ Styles acting as a commentator during the bout and asking for instant replays was unique and a creative way to get around the fact that Omos might not be ready to go bell-to-bell without an issue. Second, Orton let Riddle get destroyed, only to come out of the cheap pop and RKO after the match was over. It was a lot like the old Orton, but not so much like the new one.

WWE is going to need to keep coming up with interesting ways to get Omos over. They'll also need to set the stage for an Orton and Riddle issue because even Riddle shouldn't let Orton bail on their partnership and only serve himself repeatedly. Omos being so blind to Orton sneaking into the ring was a hard pill to swallow too.

Loser: Austin Theory Defeats Jeff Hardy

This isn't a loser because Austin Theory beat Hardy. This one was a loser because the match was short and the distraction of the 24/7 title chase took away from it. This was Theory's debut on Raw after being part of the WWE Draft and Raw should have dedicated time to make it a match that showcased his potential. Instead, WWE tried to fit a lot into a short segment, while getting Theory over as a credible challenge on the red brand.

Theory did pick up the win, which was good. That said, it was clear in their short contest that these two had more to offer. WWE overbooked this segment.

Winner: Jinder Mahal

This fact Mahal moves on will make for a predictable semifinal and some might argue Kofi vs. Woods could have been an interesting next match in the King of the Ring Tournament that fans are now robbed of. That said, Mahal picking up a win over Kingston is good for his push and this is really one of the few heels vs. babyface semifinals WWE has set up in either tournament. Mahal is underrated and WWE would be served well by making him a higher-level heel than he actually is. He's got a ton of heat with the audience and he can wrestle too.

Mahal would make for a good King of WWE if creative decided to go there and really emphasize his desire to be the villainous king WWE hasn't had in a while. Mahal winning clean with his finisher was a nice touch. It doesn't hurt Kingston, who at this point in his WWE career, is unphased when it comes to his win/loss record.

Winner: Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair vs. Charlotte and Becky Lynch

This was actually a lot of fun and a creative way to build towards the Crown Jewel match. Partners that don't much like each other had to try and find a way and work together. Predictably, that wasn't going to happen. The four women were so busy fighting with one another that Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville had to come out and restart the match once WWE officials broke up the melee. The match went on for a little while, with the women reluctantly trying to make it work. Eventually, it broke down into chaos again and the referee called for a double disqualification.

Rightfully, there shouldn't have been a winner here and the idea was to show there was just far too much animosity for these women to get along, regardless of who their respective partners were.

Winner: Chaos Closes Show As McIntyre and Big E Brawl

The start of the show teased that Drew McIntyre and Big E wouldn't be able to get along heading into Crown Jewel, but later in the show, the two seemed to get on the same page heading into their main event match with the Usos. That unity didn't last long as the WWE Champion and the challenger brawled on the outside until the official had no choice but to count out the babyfaces. McIntyre and E continued to fight, stopping only to thwart the attack of the SmackDown tag team champions. Once the Usos were removed from the equation, the fight ensued.

This was a strong close to the show as WWE builds up to a match between these two in Saudi Arabia. Two babyfaces battling it out doesn't always equate to a match fans feel they need to see. This segment did a decent job of hyping the fight. It seems clear Big E will retain his title based on the fact McIntyre got the edge here.
