At several points, it really felt like he was about to defeat the Deadman. With Paul Heyman at ringside with the urn, really adding the drama, this match ended up being fantastic to watch. While people always talk about 'Taker facing the likes of Edge and HBK, this match is just as good.

9 Triple H & Stephanie McMahon vs Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey (WrestleMania 34)

Who would have thought that a mixed tag team match would be one of the top 10 WrestleMania matches of the decade? Not only that, but it was the match of the night at WrestleMania 34. This is admittedly surprising, considering it featured a non-wrestler, someone making their debut, and two legends who were semi-retired at this point.

However, all four performed excellently, putting on an amazing match. To top it all off, Ronda Rousey blew fans away with how good she was in the ring, surpassing the wildest of expectations. With the live crowd coming unglued throughout, this ended up being an amazing moment that is exactly what 'Mania should be about.

8 Shane McMahon vs AJ Styles (WrestleMania 33)

At the start of this decade, nobody would have believed that Shane McMahon would wrestle AJ Styles in the opening match of a WrestleMania event. Yet, in Orlando, Florida, this strange match took place.

The two men would go on to have an amazing match as well. With Shane McMahon attempting to match AJ Styles in terms of his technical abilities, he certainly proved he could. Of course, there were the classic Shane bumps, through the announce table and with the coast-to-coast as well. The duo simply shocked the entire wrestling world, who had low expectations going in.

7 Seth Rollins vs The Miz vs Finn Balor (WrestleMania 34)

Speaking of an amazing opening match, the WrestleMania 34 triple threat which kicked off the show was a thrilling match that set the tone for the rest of the night. Battling over the Intercontinental Championship, the three men did everything they could to put on a great match.

Wrestling at an incredibly fast pace with aerial moves, fantastic reversals and combinations all around, this brawl had everything. With top quality wrestling and believable near falls, there is very little to fault about this match. It sums up the 'workhorse title' to perfection in what is a great opening match for any PPV.

6 Daniel Bryan vs Kofi Kingston (WrestleMania 35)

This is exactly what WrestleMania is supposed to be about. History-making, feel-good moments that leave fans on the edge of their seats as they go through a whirlwind of emotions. Kofi Kingston's WrestleMania moment certainly provided that.

Just as Daniel Bryan did years earlier, Kingston was forced to overcome the odds and battle the McMahon family just to be in this spot. Then, he came up against a technical master in Bryan. Despite how beloved he is, Bryan was enjoying an incredible heel run and he and Kofi worked perfectly at this moment to help make history.

5 Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair vs Sasha Banks (WrestleMania 32)

Despite the fact that Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair got to headline WrestleMania 35, this is the women's triple threat match that everyone remembers. Arguably the first big women's WrestleMania match with dedicated time and story, the ladies didn't disappoint.

With the Divas Championship gone and the Women's Title returning, the stakes were high to see who would be the first to leave with the title. In the end, it was Charlotte Flair, but it really could have been anyone. The fact it was so hard to call is what made this match so entertaining. All three women had amazing moments as they stole the entire show, proving just how good they are.

4 Daniel Bryan vs Triple H (WrestleMania 30)

Daniel Bryan had to work two matches at WrestleMania 30, the opening bout and the main event. However, he had to defeat Triple H in the first match in order to get to the main event title match.

Of course, that is exactly what he did, but not before putting on a clinic. Despite the stick that Triple H receives at times, he is a fantastic wrestler, and this match certainly proved that. As one of the greatest opening matches in the history of WrestleMania, The Game went hold for hold with Bryan as the two men worked a great match.

3 Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns (WrestleMania 31)

One of the most shocking moments in WrestleMania history took place within this match. With Seth Rollins cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase in the main event, it turned a great match into an unforgettable one. While the vast majority of this match was just a singles bout between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, even that section was great.

The two men were busting their asses to make a great match and they were certainly achieving that goal. However, when Rollins got involved the place simply became unglued. Creating an amazing moment and making the match far less predictable, this was truly a fantastic part of this decades wrestling history.

2 Daniel Bryan vs Randy Orton vs Batista (WrestleMania 30)

But when it finally did, it created an amazing WrestleMania moment.

Just like the year before, the in-ring work was amazing, but it really was all about the emotion and the story this time around. Actually getting to close the show this time, The Undertaker and Michaels made sure they did it with a bang.
