10 Male Wrestlers Who Hooked Up With The Same Woman (And 5 Women Who Got The Same Guy)

Being a wrestler would certainly mean hanging out with the same group of people for most of the week. And with the healthy mix of males and females present, surely, some hooking up would take place.

As healthy as the mix happens to be, though, it's pretty hard for wrestlers not to hook up with the same persons. After all, WWE relationships hardly last very long, and horses are meant to get back up on, right?

It's bound to be pretty weird. Being in the same room with a couple, half of which used to be your partner should prove a very awkward experience, but it happens in the business all of the time - plus it's probably something someone can get used to.

The circumstances surrounding such relationships are worth noting too, as they can be pretty entertaining. Whether it's by treachery or simply by innocent happenstance, the WWE will never miss out on an opportunity to capitalize on a great story.

There are several wrestlers in the business, past and present, who shared relationships with the very same person, and most of the instances really are interesting. So without further ado, here are 15 pairs of wrestlers who did just that.

15 Male: John Cena and Batista - Kelly Kelly

via wwe.com

Two of the biggest stars to ever set foot in a WWE ring, you would think that John Cena and Batista would share the same taste in women. You would also be quite correct.

The two stars both dated former Diva Kelly Kelly, at different points in time, fortunately for everyone involved. Kelly, whose real name is Barbara Blank, is now married to former ice hockey player Sheldon Souray, but was accused of being involved in a relationship with Cena whilst he was still married.

She is also said to have gotten her fling on with The Animal, who, like Cena, used to be a bit of a playboy himself. Mind you, Kelly Kelly dated a lot of wrestlers during her time with the WWE.

14 Female: Nikki Bella and Sunny

via pwpix.net/wwe.com

Nikki Bella, now engaged to marry John Cena, is believed to have started seeing Dolph Ziggler some time in 2008, although the exact timeline is unclear. Ziggler, actually named Nicholas Nemeth, was also involved with former wrestler Tammy Sytch for some time.

Sytch, known by her ring name 'Sunny', isn't very particular about keeping details of former relationships under wraps. She claims she only slept with Ziggler once, but described him as a 'machine'. She even went into explicit detail about him.

“Nick was really fun," she revealed. "We went from about 11:30 [pm], 12 o’clock at night, till 7 in the morning. He’s a machine, I should say. Yeah, he’s a machine and he does not tire. His stamina is insane."

Why just once then?

13 Male: Batista & John Morrison - Melina

via wwe.com/gerweck.net

As mentioned above, Dave Bautista did carry with him a reputation of being one of the WWE's playboy stars. The six-time World Champion had something going on with Melina Perez, known as just Melina during her time in the organization.

Melina also shared a long off-and-on relationship with John Morrison, and Batista was allegedly seeing her behind Morrison's back while the pair were in a relationship.

Dave denies it, however. “Melina and John weren’t together anymore,” he said of the love triangle. “He was always aware of what was going on, and she was very honest with him. They split up and moved apart, and we started dating each other. She still considers him her best friend in the world. But he always knew exactly what was going on.”

12 Female: Maria & Beth Phoenix - CM Punk

via sportskeeda.com/wwe.com

Maria Kanellis began dating the Straight Edge Superstar CM Punk during the pair's developmental years in the organization. But to her utter disappointment, they would split up after a few years. Kanellis admitted that Punk was very hard to get over, but she's since moved on and married Mike Bennett.

Beth Phoenix, the youngest ever WWE Hall of Famer, can also claim to have gotten a bit of the Punk. The Diva left the ring in 2012, after a stellar career which saw her win four championships, and is now married to Edge - guess Lita had that coming.

Edge, also inducted into the Hall of Fame, is now part of the first couple to ever be handed such an honor. Punk, though, doesn't think very highly of his former partner, having referred to her as a 'douchebag' following their breakup.

11 Male: Matt Hardy & Edge - Lita

via sportskeeda.com

Matt Hardy and Edge used to be good friends - until Lita happened. The female star was in a relationship with the dark-haired Hardy (he does look quite grey now), but would make Edge her beau after falling for his friend.

Hardy and Edge would fall out completely and carry on a long feud, which fans quite enjoyed. And Edge, who was married to Lisa Ortiz before the whole fiasco, promptly went through a divorce.

Lita later opened up about how things started between Edge and herself. “I know both of us were kind of like, ‘Oh s**t’ you know once we started to-to realize we were more than just two bros just hanging out.

"And so the hard thing that has always been with this time period is, you know, we realized we were going down a path that we shouldn’t and what I mean by that is mentally, mentally.”

“We’d kissed finally and freaked out.”

10 Female: Lita & Ashley Massaro - Matt Hardy

via youtube.com/dailywrestlingnews.com

Lita's relationship with Matt Hardy is somewhat detailed above. The pair were together for around six years before Lita started seeing his buddy Edge behind his back while he was home nursing a knee injury. She eventually stuck with Edge, leaving an enraged Hardy to deviate from scripts in anger until he was fired by the WWE.

The Hardy Boy got back on the horse with Ashley Massaro, a Diva Search winner who spent just a few years in the business. She later moved on to Paul London, and Hardy was apparently immensely bitter about it.

“The thing with Matt is no respect," London said of Matt, going on to accuse him of trying to sabotage his career. "Just a rotten person. He tries to pull the wool over people’s eyes and put himself over online, but he’s the definition of a mark for himself.

"I just don’t like the guy. He’s done some things to try to sabotage my career, without going into detail, but (he is) the definition of a coward.”

9 Male: CM Punk & Mike Bennett - Maria

via wwe.com

CM Punk and Mike Bennett have a few things in common, and dating Maria Kanellis is one of them. As it happens, Mike and Maria are currently married.

The former WWE Diva Search contestant recently returned to the WWE after a seven-year hiatus, announcing her return alongside her husband on SmackDown in late June. "We're here to educate everyone on SmackDown Live about the power of love," she declared.

But way before she met Mike, she started a relationship with Punk back in 2005, splitting two years later. "I was so in love with him and I still think there'll always be a part of me that does love him," she told a newspaper following the breakup. "I thought he was my soulmate, he thought otherwise."

8 Female: Charlotte & Paige - Alberto Del Rio

via tumblr.com/pwpix.net

Two-time Divas Champion Paige is now engaged to former WWE star Alberto Del Rio, who now goes by Alberto El Patron in Global Force Wrestling. Apparently, the WWE split them up in last year's brand split due to their extremely dramatic relationship.

The pair were reported as having an embarrassing breakup in June this year, with Del Rio getting arrested for alleged battery, as well as reporting Paige for assault. They have since mended fences, but a leaked sex tape involving Paige is understood to have taken things to an absolute melting point.

Before hooking up with Paige, Del Rio dated Charlotte, a four-time Women's Champion and one-time Divas Champion. The 31-year-old beauty was wife to former WWE performer Thomas Latimer A.K.A 'Bram', but got with Del Rio after going through a divorce.

7 Male: John Cena & Kenny Dykstra - Mickie James

via whicdn.com/tumblr.com

I promise: You haven't seen the last of John Cena on here. The attitude adjusting supremo has had his fair share of fun with the ladies; and share he did, when it comes to Mickie James.

Mickie was engaged to former WWE grappler Ken Doane, known as Kenny Dykstra, before he found out she was seeing Cena at his back - he can be seen, apparently. The revelation ultimately led to both Mickie and Ken getting fired from the WWE, according to Ken that is.

"He was messing with MJ so I got moved to SmackDown so they could further mess," Kenn  has since explained. "I jobbed, got fired. When MJ got crazy because he wouldn't date her, she then got fired. Weird biz huh? She got title, on TV show while with him. Serves her well though."

"She wanted to date him, he said no, she flipped out backstage which led to her demise."

6 Female: Kelly Kelly & Melina - Batista

via wikimedia.org/pwpix.net

Both Kelly Kelly and Melina can boast getting a bit of 'The Animal' that is Dave Bautista. As mentioned above, Batista was quite the playboy back in the day, and has had his fair share of relationships with females in the WWE.

Batista spent some time dating Kelly, later revealing that their age difference (a whopping 18 years) was the reason for things not lasting. "She's just a young girl," he said. "She was a little immature for a 21 year-old."

He also dated Melina while working as a part of the WWE. He was believed to have done so while she was still involved with John Morrison (also mentioned above). However, Batista has staunchly denied those claims, stating that he was very respectful of Melina's relationship with Morrison.

5 Male: David Flair and Test - Stacy Keibler

via wwe.com/tumblr.com

David Flair, the son of WWE legend Rick Flair, followed his father's footsteps into the wrestling business, despite not wanting to be a wrestler in his younger days. For some odd reason, he wanted to be a State Trooper instead.

He eventually saw the light, though, joining World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1999 and going on to win one World Championship. He dated former wrestler Stacy Keibler during his stint, and she would eventually dump him.

About a year after moving over to WWE following the purchase of WCW, she would move on to date Test. That relationship came to a halt as well, with Keibler bagging Hollywood star George Clooney sometime thereafter. She is now married to businessman Jared Pobre, with whom she has a daughter.

4 Male: John Cena & Dolph Ziggler - Nikki Bella

via instagram.com/pwpix.net

Told you he'd be back. He always comes back.

The woman in question this time around is his soon-to-be wife Nikki Bella. The former Divas Champion spent three years or so dating Dolph Ziggler, and would get back in the game with Cena after her relationship ended.

Cena himself was recently divorced, so it was a double rebound, really. They have been dating for five years now, and should tie the knot any time from now, with Cena having proposed to her after their tag-team victory at this year's WrestleMania.

Nikki's past relationship with Dolph has been alluded to on Total Divas and it seems that they're still fairly good friends today, despite being exes. Cena seems to be very trusting of the friendship as well.

3 Goldust & New Jack - Terri Runnels

via pinterest.com

Dustin Runnels A.K.A Goldust is one weird guy, but who can blame him after what he went through with his ex-wife Terri. The pair got married in 1993, against the wishes of his father Dusty Rhodes, and would break things off six years later. Terri also accused Rhodes of spreading rumors of cheating and being a gold-digger.

She married again in 2002, but that would only last two months. In 2009, she got into a relationship with the barbaric New Jack, spending two years with the former wrestler. Things ended on a sour note, and a judge had to ban New Jack from distributing nude photos of her.

Just what did she expect, though? Pretty much everyone knew from the get-go that relationship wouldn't end well.

2 Male: Marc Mero & Brock Lesnar - Sable

via bleacherreport.com/wwe.com

Current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar is married to former Diva Sable, whose actual name is Rena Marlette Lesnar.

Before Brock, though, the now 49-year-old was wed to Marc Mero for 10 years. Mero, who played the character Johnny B. Badd in WCW, is now a motivational speaker, having retired from wrestling in 2006. After retirement, he admitted to using steroids, also blaming the industry for the deaths of various wrestlers, including that of Chris Benoit.

His split with Sable was said to be a very amicable one, however. And she seems to be quite happy in her current marriage, in which she shares two children, as well as two of Brock's from a past relationship and one from her own. She even moved to Saskatchewan with Lesnar after he bought a wheat farm. She MUST love him.

1 Male: Triple H & X-Pac - Chyna

via imageevent.com/wikimedia.org

Triple H and X-Pac were allies in the popular D-Generation X crew that rose to prominence in the late 90s. Chyna was brought on board as a leverage earner, often helping team members win matches by physically interfering.

She began a relationship with Triple H, with the pair turning on X-Pac to form The Corporation on their own. Her stint with The Cerebral Assassin ended after his affair with Stephanie McMahon was brought to light, though relatives claim that was not the reason, citing disagreements over having children as the straw that broke the camel's back.

She later began a relationship with X-Pac, and the two would produce a sex tape called 1 Night In China that sold well over 100,000 copies.

The former star sadly passed away last year, with an autopsy revealing the cause of death to be an alcohol overdose coupled with the intake of anxiety drugs and pain killers.
