Monster heels are a classic stereotype with WWE, as there is always someone on this roster who fills this gap. Sometimes it can work well, creating top talent that will have great storylines such as Umaga or Kane. However, there are plenty of occasions where this simply falls flat and does not create success.RELATED:10 Monster Heels Who Should've Beaten The Top BabyfaceThe 2000s saw a lot of great talent come through the doors in WWE, many of which had real success. However, there are plenty of heels from this era of wrestling that simply did not make an impact on the business at all, ending up being forgotten stars.

10 Heidenreich

Jon Heidenreich

Heidenreich is only ever remembered for one moment, which was reading poetry to Michael Cole in the toilet, which was one of the strangest WWE segments of all time. His in-ring work wasn't particularly great, and this meant that his push was limited right out of the gate.

He did enjoy a storyline with The Undertaker, which was the high point of his career. However, his run was not able to sustain that level, which ultimately meant that he slipped down the card and stopped doing things of note. Because of that, fans began to forget about him overall.

9 Vladimir Kozlov

Vladimir Kozlov WWE

Vladimir Kozlov was pushed heavily when he first entered WWE, being seen as a main event star who could compete for the WWE Championship. He feuded with the likes of Triple H, Jeff Hardy, and The Undertaker, but his match quality wasn't high enough for him to be worthy of those spots.

Because of that, most fans weren't happy with him being pushed, and he didn't sustain it. As Kozlov slipped down the card, his work became far more comedic. However, fans didn't recall the performances of him at all, and he has ended up being a forgotten man.

8 Viscera/Big Daddy V

Viscera

Viscera worked under a variety of names during his WWE career, and that included the 2000s. During this decade he performed as both Viscera and Big Daddy V, and neither character caught on. He is best remembered for working as Mabel, which was a more successful run for him.

However, the later characters didn't quite capture the same magic, and they ended up being gimmicks that lacked any real impact on the business. Because of that, he's ended up being a talent that fans have forgotten.

7 B2

Bull Buchanan

B2 was a strange gimmick that was given to Bull Buchanan, and didn't end up connecting. B2 had several gimmicks in his career, and towards the end of his run he had been a monster heel, and then someone who was by the side of John Cena before his big babyface run.

However, he was not a big part of the on-screen product overall, and he rarely got opportunities to truly showcase his ability. He is not someone that fans look back upon and talk about a lot, proving that he had a small impact.

6 Dan Rodman

Dan Rodman

Dan Rodman is a typical example of how someone with a certain size and look will always be pushed in WWE. He was allowed to work because of the fact that he ticked the monster boxes. However, in reality, he wasn't at the level necessary to work with WWE.

Rodman wasn't around for long in WWE, but he did work against the likes of Eugene and Mark Henry, primarily appearing on Heat. Because he didn't have a major storyline on the main roster, he has ended up being someone that wrestling fans have forgotten about.

5 Tyson Tomko

Edge, Christian & Tyson Tomko Raw 2005 Cropped

Tyson Tomko got a nice little run together alongside Christian when he was around, but the best moments of his career took place with TNA. He was a good talent and knew how to put together an enjoyable match, but Christian was always the star during his time with WWE.

When fans think about Captain Charisma, this isn't a period of his career that most people will remember, which is why Tomko has often ended up being a forgotten star, despite having the ability to do a lot more.

4 Vance Archer

Lance Archer In WWE

Nowadays, Vance Archer is somebody that wrestling fans are very familiar with due to his work in AEW. Lance Archer has truly tapped into his ability to be a monster under Tony Khan, but when he was originally used on ECW, WWE couldn't quite get the fans interested in him enough.

He worked against Tommy Dreamer and Shelton Benjamin most memorably. However, with ECW not being watched by most fans, it ended up being a run that a lot of people simply aren't aware even happened.

3 Mike Knox

Mike Knox WWE

Mike Knox was also pushed as a monster on ECW, and while he had a lot more success than Archer, he also didn't end up becoming a memorable star. He was given opportunities at a mid-card level, but he didn't tend to win any of his rivalries, and he struggled to make any real success.

His storylines were never a focal part of the product, and this is why he didn't end up being someone that would prove to be memorable in the grand scheme of things. He had a solid run, but not one that truly carved out a niche.

2 Bam Neely

Bam Neely makes his entrance

Bam Neely was involved in the La Familia faction, and was the muscle of the group. However, he was not the wrestler that anybody remembered. There was a lot of star power in this group, and Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins also made their presence known more so than him.

He was mainly associated with Chavo Guerrero, but the attention was always on him, not Bam Neely. He had a good look, which is what got him brought into that position. However, he didn't quite have the charisma to truly make a mark on the business overall.

1 Manu

manu

Manu is another person that was randomly thrown into a faction and didn't quite belong. He was involved with Legacy for a brief period alongside Ted DiBiase Jr. and Cody Rhodes, as a young talent looking to learn from Randy Orton. He was added to provide some muscle, being a bigger wrestler than most on the roster.

However, he is not somebody that fans remember, as when people think about this group, he never springs to mind. He was not at the level of Cody and Ted, and because he didn't do anything outside this run, he ended up being forgotten by fans.
