Being a wrestler is a full-time job, and working with promotions that are on the same level as WWE means that many stars are working for the company more than 300 days a year, which makes it hard for them to start a family while they are still performing.

This obviously isn't always the case, as there are a number of WWE stars right now, like AJ Styles, Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens and even Shane McMahon who manage to juggle a career with WWE alongside having a family and watching their children grow up. It sounds like hard work, but shockingly there have been a lot of stars who have managed to do this throughout WWE's history.

There are a number of stars who have managed this over the past few decades and the fact that they began their families when they were much younger now means that they have unexpectedly become grandparents while they still seem quite young.

The following list looks at just 15 current and former WWE stars that the WWE Universe may not have been aware were grandparents, some of them don't look old enough to have their children have children of their own, but make no mistake, all the stars involved in the following list are grandparents.

15 15. Ted DiBiase Sr.

Via Pinterest.com

The Million Dollar Man is a WWE Hall of Famer and legend when it comes to the wrestling business, so much so that even his own son (Ted DiBiase Jr.) was able to follow in his footsteps and break into the WWE a few years ago.

Ted DiBiase didn't have the success that his father once found as part of the company, but he was part of Legacy alongside Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes and he was able to have his own Million Dollar belt at one point as well. Since Ted asked for his release from WWE  back in 2013 he has been spending much more time with his wife Kristen Tynes and his son Tate McKinley DiBiase. Tate is Ted DiBiase Sr's first grandchild and is currently just five years old.

14 14. Jake "The Snake" Roberts

via BleacherReport.com

Jake Roberts is a WWE legend and Hall of Famer, he is one of very few men in WWE history to have had a lengthy tenure with the company but never lifted Championship gold the entire time he was contracted to WWE.

Roberts has had an eventful personal life over the past few decades and overcame a number of obstacles in his life. Jake has eight children from two marriages, both of which ended in divorce. Jake found out about a daughter he didn't even know he had back in 2015, and at current count he has 10 grandchildren. One of Jake's grandsons was on stage with him during his Hall of Fame induction speech back in 2014, and he became an instant internet sensation at just 18-months old.

13 13. Road Warrior Animal

Via cagesideseats.com

Former Tag Team Champion and WWE Hall of Famer Road Warrior Animal is best known as one half of The Legion of Doom with Road Warrior Hawk, but Animal actually comes from a famous wrestling family of his own. His brother is current WWE executive and former Raw General Manager John Laurinaitis.

Road Warrior has three children, A daughter named Jessica, a son named Joseph and another son called James. James decided to take a different route into sports than his father and is a former American football linebacker who once played for the New Orleans Saints. James married his long time girlfriend Sherry Williams in 2013 and the couple welcomed their first child the following year. Their daughter, whom the couple named London, is Road Warrior Animal's first grandchild.

12 12. Jim Ross

Via Twitter.com

Jim Ross is not technically a former WWE star when it comes to stepping inside the ropes, but Ross has created enough history on his own in WWE  from behind the announce table thanks to his incredible and memorable commentary over the past few decades.

Ross returned to WWE to call what could have been Undertaker's final WWE match back at WrestleMania 33 in April, but outside of WWE Ross has had a stable personal life over the past few years. Jim Ross has two daughters called Kasi and Amanda from his first marriage and in turn now has two granddaughters. His granddaughter Ryan has already shown signs that she could become a track star in the future and Ross has commented that she is currently the best athlete in the family.

11 11. Ric Flair

"The Dirtiest Player In The Game" has to have one of the most talked about personal lives in WWE history. Flair has been married and divorced four times and is currently engaged to be married to his fifth wife. Flair had four children from his first two marriages, and one of these children is current WWE star Charlotte.

Ric's oldest daughter Megan has a daughter of her own who is Flair's only grandchild. Megan called her daughter Morgan Lee Ketzner and she could very well be the third generation star that Flair is looking for to rival Natalya when it comes to female's from famous wrestling families. Morgan is just 13-years-old right now, but she could be heading to WWE in the distant future if Ric has anything to say about it.

10 10. Sika Anoa'i

Via pinterest.co.uk

Sika Anoa'i gained fame in WWE as part of The Wild Samoans with his brother Afa and as part of the famous Anoa'i wrestling family, a family which has continued to generate talent for the WWE over the past few years.

Sika's son Roman Reigns is currently performing for WWE on their Raw brand and has a daughter called Joelle who is nine-years old. Roman only recently married Joelle's mother Galina Becker after the couple met while attending University together. Joelle is not Sika's only grandchild though, as the late former WWE star Rosey (who is Roman's brother) has three children (two sons called Jordan and Koa and a daughter called Madison). Rosey passed away earlier this year after suffering from congestive heart failure, but his legacy continues through his children.

9 9. IRS (Irwin R. Schyster)

Via Youtube.com

Mike Rotunda became known to the WWE Universe as IRS (Irwin R. Schyster) who was seen as a tax collector in the late 1980s and early 1990s on WWE TV. It seems that while Mike has been out of the spotlight he has been looking after his family, one that includes his two sons Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas.

Bray and Bo also have a sister named Mika who is a personal trainer and fitness expert, but it is Bray Wyatt that is the reason why Mike has been able to make this list. Bray Wyatt has two children with his ex-wife named Kendyl and Cadyn. It seems that Bray could be having a number of personal issues with his wife though since she recently leaked the fact that Wyatt was having an affair before the coupled filed for divorce.

8 8. Bob Orton Jr.

Bob Orton is perhaps better remembered by this generation of WWE fans as the father of Randy Orton who last appeared at WWE Battleground a few months ago to help cheer on his son in his WWE Championship match against Jinder Mahal.

Randy is a third generation superstar in WWE and it seems that he is only happy to continue the blood line with his own children. Orton has two daughters of his own, Alannah Marie from his first marriage and Brooklyn Rose, whom his current wife Kim Kessler gave birth to back in November. Orton is also the step father to Kim's three sons from a relationship, who he takes pleasure in teaching wrestling moves to and sharing photos of online. Orton sees the three boys as his own children.

7 7. Ken Shamrock

Via Kenshamrock.com

Ken Shamrock is remembered from his time in WWE as "The World's Most Dangerous Man" and it is perhaps something that his wife considers to be true since he fathered four children between 1988 and 1996. Shamrock then went on to marry again following his divorce back in 2002 and became the stepfather to his new wife's three children.

Shamrock himself was adopted, so it makes sense that he cares so much about his family life and treats his wife's kids as if they were his own. On top of being the father to seven of his own children, Ken Shamrock is also the grandfather to ten children as well. It seems that Christmas dinner at the Shamrock household must be the most entertaining meal of the year.

6 6. Sable

Via Sportskeeda.com

Sable is a former WWE Women's Champion and a former Playboy cover girl. She rose to fame in WWE when she began accompanying her second husband Marc Mero to the ring. Sable had a husband before Mero and he went on to adopt her daughter Mariah when the duo married in 1994.

Marc adopted Mariah but the couple's marriage didn't last and once again ended in divorce in 2004. Sable went on to marry current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar in 2006 after calling off their engagement in 2005 and reinstating it in 2006. The couple has since welcomed two sons named Duke and Turk. In September 2012 it was revealed that Sable became a grandmother for the first time when her eldest daughter Mariah gave birth to her first child, a baby boy.

5 5. Rikishi

Via Sportskeeda.com

Rikishi is a WWE Hall of Famer and a former Intercontinental Champion. Rikishi became popular for his unique style of offence in a WWE ring and it seems that his legacy in WWE has continued with his sons, The Usos, who are the current SmackDown Tag Team Champions.

Jimmy and Jay Uso aren't the only children of Rikishi, he also has two other sons who aren't professional wrestlers and prefer to keep out of the spotlight despite numerous cameos on Total Divas. It is Jimmy and Jey who are the reason Rikishi makes the list though since Jimmy has two children named Jayla and Jaidan from his first marriage before he met and married WWE star Naomi. Jey married his wife Takecia in 2015 and the couple has two sons together making Rikishi the grandfather of four boys.

4 4. John Laurinaitis

Via Twitter.com

John Laurinaitis is a former WWE star known as Johnny Ace, as well as a former Raw General Manager. Laurinaitis still currently works for WWE as a member of their backstage creative team, but it seems that he has married himself into a famous wrestling family that now makes him a grandfather as well.

Laurinaitis married Kathy Colace on an episode of Total Bellas last year with all of the family in attendance and because of the marriage, he became the step father to both Nikki and Brie Bella as well as the step father to Daniel Bryan. The birth of Brie and Daniel's daughter Birdie Jo earlier this year now makes John Laurinaitis a grandfather as well.

3 3. Stone Cold Steve Austin

Via Sportskeeda.com

Stone Cold Steve Austin was one of the biggest stars of WWE's Attitude Era and is still used on WWE TV to this day since he is regarded as a WWE legend. Austin has had a number of issues in his personal life and has been married numerous times, but it is his second wife Jeannie's daughter Jade who has made him an addition to this list.

Even though Austin isn't Jade's real father, he did adopt her when he was married to her mother, which means that when she gave birth to a son it made Austin a grandfather. Austin doesn't seem to age like the rest of the world, so even though he is now at the age where it makes sense that he is a grandparent, he still doesn't look old enough.

2 2. Brock Lesnar

via youtube.com

Brock Lesnar is the current Universal Champion in WWE, he is a former UFC Champion and one of the biggest box office pulls that WWE has at the moment. Brock has dominated the WWE locker room for the past few years, and at just 40 years-old he has accomplished so much both personally and professionally.

As well as having an incredible fighting record, Lesnar has also been busy outside of the ring. When he married Sable back in 2006 he became the step father to her daughter Mariah who is mentioned above. When Mariah gave birth to her son five years ago it also made Brock a grandfather at the tender age of 40, which can't have gone down too well with The Beast Incarnate.

1 1. Batista

Via Pinterest

Batista is a former WWE Champion and Royal Rumble winner in WWE. He is also a movie star after being part of the Guardians of The Galaxy franchise and James Bond's latest outing in Spectre.

While fans have been occupied with his career inside the ring and on the silver screen, Batista's personal life makes for interesting reading. Batista married his first wife Glenda back in the 1990s and had two daughters with her named Keilani and Athena before they later divorced. Batista went on to marry a woman named Angie, who he later cheated on with WWE Diva Melina, causing that marriage to end in divorce in 2006. Batista became a grandfather before the age of 40 thanks to his daughter Keilani who gave birth to sons Jacob and Aiden almost a decade ago.
