15 Hot Cosplay Pictures Of Your Favorite Wrestling Women

Over the past few years, cosplaying has become a popular thing for many people to do. People are even famous as cosplayers and attend various Comiccon events in their hand made costumes.

WWE has caught on to this as well and have seen many of their female wrestlers dress up in cosplay style attire for photoshoots. Sometimes WWE even allows these women to wear their outfits on live TV. Recent additions to the Women's Division main roster like Alexa Bliss have already revealed their love of comic books. She often styles her attire on the likes of The Riddler and Ironman, while AJ Lee was also a comic book nerd who tried to include her obsession in her in-ring wardrobe.

At Halloween the women were usually be forced to dress up and take part in a Battle Royal every year with the best part of the entire thing being the fact that their outfits were impressive most of the time.

The following is a list of the 15 times the women of WWE decided to cosplay as someone completely different and looked incredible. Sometimes they even decide to dress up as each other, which in itself is slightly confusing.

16 Mickie James As Trish Stratus

via portalnet.cl

Back in 2006, Mickie James and Trish Stratus had a fantastic rivalry that lasted almost a year. It would see Mickie defeat Trish at WrestleMania 22 to end her record reign as Women's Champion and signal what was seen as a shift in the Women's Division when Trish retired from the company later that year.

Mickie liked to play mind games throughout their feud and one of her most famous ones was when she decided to dress up as Trish Stratus and try to confuse the champion. Obviously, Trish later returned the favour and dressed up as Mickie. But the original is usually always the best and Mickie proves this here as she shows that she probably should have dyed her hair blonde a long time ago.

15 The Bella Twins As Legion Of Doom

via wwe.fr

In the fallout from WrestleMania XXX back in 2014, it was decided that the women of WWE would dress up as their favorite legendary superstars as part of what was a historic photoshoot. This included women from all over the WWE roster and saw Alicia Fox dress up as "Macho Man" Randy Savage. AJ Lee dressed up as "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. And The Bella Twins became Legion of Doom.

Who knew that the twins could pull off such an incredible tag team's attire and still manage to give off the Legion of Doom feel? Brie and Nikki Bella are definitely not strangers to looking amazing and taking part in these kinds of photoshoots, but we should just stop for a minute and admire how well put together their outfits are.

14 Sasha Banks Dressed As Bayley

via wrestlingcosplaywego.tumblr.com

As well as being the best of friends both on and off screen, Bayley and Sasha Banks are obviously very close to the same size. Sasha shared this photo a few months ago where she was dressed up as Bayley.

There appears to be an on-going trend in WWE that many female wrestlers are able to get away with dressing up as other female wrestlers and it can't be denied that Sasha actually looks quite good as Bayley. Perhaps if the duo ever get into a personal feud like Mickie and Trish once did, they could decide to dress up as each other since it's obvious that their clothes are the same size. Now we just have to find the pictures of Bayley dressed as Sasha, they sound like they could be fun.

13 JoJo Offerman As Batwoman

A post shared by Joseann Offerman (@joseann_alexie) on

Batwoman was the decided attire of WWE ring announcer JoJo Offerman for Halloween back in 2014. The former member of Total Divas came up with the custom design that actually looks a though it could be used as in-ring attire if JoJo ever decided to take part in a Halloween Costume Battle Royal in the future when she decided to pursue a wrestling career again.

Many of the women in WWE dressed up for Halloween that year with Bayley dressing as a pink Power Ranger and Becky Lynch sharing pictures as she dressed up as Batman's sidekick Robin. All the women of WWE enjoy dressing up to for holidays even though they technically get to dress up and become a character all the time on WWE TV.

12 Melina As Wonder Woman

via 4cornerwrestling.com

Melina is a former WWE Divas and Women's Champion in her own right. During her time in WWE she was able to dress up as Wonder Woman on more than one occasion.

The recent remake of Wonder Woman on the big screen has allowed many fans to begin cosplaying as the Amazonian Princess in recent months. But Melina has always been a fan of Wonder Woman and so have many other female wrestlers. Trish Status once dressed up as Wonder Woman for a Halloween costume contest, while Charlotte and Paige have both stated that she is someone that they have looked up to and use to push them a lot of the time. Wonder Woman could well be a popular option for Halloween this year.

11 Mickie James As Lara Croft

via wwe.com

Mickie James was part of many Halloween Costume contests during her first stint in WWE, that started back in 2005. Mickie's most famous outfit was definitely when she dressed up as Lara Croft but was sadly quickly eliminated from the contest.

There isn't a female alive that didn't think they could be Lara Croft when the Tomb Raider films first came out. Angelina Jolie inspired an entire generation and it seems that Mickie reignited that fire when she used the Croft as the inspiration for her outfit. Mickie hasn't been able to dress up and show off her the real her when it comes to her own outfit choices since she's returned to WWE over the past year as hopefully, Halloween costume contests will now be remembered as a thing of the past.

10 Candice Michelle As Catwoman

via wwe.com

There are a lot of different superheroes that a woman can decide to dress up as for Halloween. But no hero has a sexier outfit that Catwoman. Halle Berry's re-imagination of the comic book star saw her be upgraded to what was a stunning PVC outfit that only Berry herself could really pull off.

Candice Michelle decided that she wanted to attempt to dress up as the feline for a Halloween episode of Monday Night Raw. And it has to be said that she definitely pulls that off with style. Candice would have been the winner of a number of Battle Royal matches if the decision as made solely on the outfit. This one was definitely one of her best and she still remains the only female wrestler to have attempted to be Catwoman.

9 Velvet Sky As Freddy Kruger

via velvetskysass.tumblr.com

Velvet Sky is a former TNA Knockout's Champion. And even though she has left the company in recent years, she will always be remembered as one of the most beautiful women to ever enter The Impact Zone.

Velvet was once part of The Beautiful People, which makes complete sense, and she proves that here with her own take on Freddy Kruger's famous attire from Nightmare on Elm Street. Alexa Bliss has most recently been seen wearing her take on Kruger's outfit back on the Halloween episode of SmackDown last year. But Velvet has managed to blow Alexa's outfit out of the water with this one. Perhaps the two women should settle who the bigger fan is in one-on-one competition, after all. In fact, it has been rumoured that Velvet could be heading to WWE.

8 AJ Lee As A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle

via hawtcelebs.com

AJ Lee was always a self-confessed nerd and has recently released her autobiography where she talks about her life growing up and her obsession with comic books. AJ is also a huge fan of video games and was seen dressed up as Kitana from Mortal Kombat at one point. But everyone's favorite Halloween costume when it comes to AJ was when she dressed as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.

AJ somehow managed to make the outfit one of the best that year. And even though Sasha Banks has tried to recreate the outfit since, it has nothing on the original that AJ obviously worked hard to be able to convince the powers at the top of WWE to allow her to wear. AJ always knew how to use her love of all things that were considered nerdy, and this just further proves that point.

6 Michelle McCool As Poison Ivy

via youtube.com

Despite the fact that Peyton Royce has now seemingly taken over all things Poison Ivy related in recent months when it comes to her custom ring attire. Michelle McCool was actually the first woman in WWE to dress up as one-third of the Gotham City Sirens. And she looks pretty incredible as the nature-loving Goddess.

Michelle McCool herself took part in many costume competitions during her time in WWE but this is definitely the best costume that she has been able to come up with. Poison Ivy is often overlooked in favour of the likes of Catwoman or Harley Quinn, given that they have been given much more screen time in recent years. So it's nice to see that someone is still willing to dress up as Poison Ivy when the occasion arises.

5 Sasha Banks As The Joker

via pinterest.com

Halloween is always the best time of year when it comes to finding out who people's favorite superheroes or supervillains. As we can see, Sasha Banks has a soft spot for The Joker. Here she is in the attire she wore for Halloween a few years ago, which is actually an impressive custom made outfit. That includes knee high socks and shorts that Sasha could actually wrestle in if she wanted to.

Sasha even goes that one step further by holding a cane in an image that wrestling fans still continue to share and comment on years after it was posted. Becky Lynch and Alexa Bliss are not the only two women on WWE's main roster that know a thing or two about comic books, Sasha just keeps her comic book obsession well hidden.

4 Mickie James As Elektra

via wwe.com

Mickie James is not as forthcoming about her love of comic books and action films as the likes of Alexa Bliss and AJ Lee, but over the past few years and during her first stint in WWE, Mickie dressed up as an Indian Princess, as seen above she dresses as Lara Croft, and then decided to dress as Elektra.

Elektra was recently seen in the Daredevil films that were made back in the early 2000s as well as having her own film made about her. Mickie is obviously a woman who enjoys dressing up as women who are seen as heroes because it gives her motivation to stand out when she's in a WWE ring on WWE TV. As Elektra, it has to be said that Mickie definitely looks the hottest she ever has.

3 Kelly Kelly As Harley Quinn

via bellyinc.com

Former WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly decided to join the hype at Halloween back in 2016 when she dressed up as Harley Quinn. The release of Suicide Squad last year made sales of Harley Quinn related outfits and memorabilia skyrocket as many women decided to dress up as Margot Robbie's re-imagined version of the famous super villain for Halloween.

Kelly Kelly is one of the only women who has the same body frame as Robbie and was able to recreate the character in a way that makes it hard to tell that it is Kelly under all of that make-up. Despite it being such a common outfit last Halloween, it seems that Kelly managed to add her own unique twist to it and still ended up looking incredible.

2 Becky Lynch As Robin

Happy Halloween! #batman #robin πŸŽƒπŸ‘»πŸ˜‰

A post shared by Joseann Offerman (@joseann_alexie) on

Becky Lynch decided to dress up as Robin for Halloween back in 2014 alongside Sasha Banks who was dressed as The Joker and JoJo Offerman as Batwoman. In the past Eve Torres and Brie Bella have dressed as Robin but Becky's costume was definitely one of the best.

Without realizing it, the above picture is Batwoman and Robin as a woman which means that Becky is actually JoJo's sidekick. JoJo has never been in the same ring as Becky when it comes to actual wrestling, so it was probably nice for JoJo to be able to be the powerful one in the duo for a change. Both women look incredible regardless of who they decide to dress up as, but Batwoman and Robin were great choices.

1 Trish Stratus As Wonder Woman

via halloween.adapstar.com

Trish Stratus showed the wrestling world that she truly is Wonder Woman back in 2005 when she took part in a Halloween Costume competition. Ever since Trish put on the outfit and stood out as a seven-time Women's Champion, it has been hard for any other female wrestler to come close.

Trish took the wrestling world by storm and even though she was only part of WWE for around five years, she still managed to leave a lasting impression and an incredible legacy that the current roster is still trying to live up to. Trish dressed up as Wonder Woman because, in the eyes of the WWE Universe, that is who she really is. The record-setting WWE Hall of Famer knows that deep down, she is the Wonder Woman of WWE.
