15 Most Revealing Recent WWE Instagram Posts

The WWE is a social media giant. Using platforms like Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram, the company and the WWE Superstars (both past and present) within it have millions upon millions of fans and followers. You can see each week just how much Vince McMahon and his minions use the marketing technique when it brags about how popular they are on almost every platform.

In some cases, the talent's desire to use social media and take photos/selfies of themselves has come back to bite them, but for the most part, 99 percent of what's out there isn't getting anyone in trouble, it's just revealing in a variety of ways.

If you follow the WWE Superstars on Instagram, you'll find a variety of photos and videos. From sexy shots of the ladies relaxing to behind the scenes images of WWE Superstars hanging out and enjoying each other's company on the road. Even to messages that someone feels needs to be shared. Instagram serves a variety of needs.

This is the place where Lana and Rusev ruined WWE plans by posting their engagement. This is also the place where fans learned that Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman were good friends outside their in-ring feud. Keep an eye on Instagram and there's no telling what you'll come across from month to month. This is especially true with a big show like SummerSlam coming and going.

The below 15 Instagram posts are among the most revealing from the WWE Superstars in the past month. Check them out, comment and share. If you like this list, we may do this monthly. If you don't, we may do it anyway because it's fun to see what the WWE Superstars are up to and it's fun to laugh, cry and get personal with them.

15 Jericho Returning As A Luchador?

Thug life.....

A post shared by Chris Jericho (@chrisjerichofozzy) on

Um, what the heck? We'd love to know what Jericho is doing here in this picture, but it is Chris Jericho so it could be anything really. He's never been shy about getting involved in projects that "break the walls down" so to speak.

Now that he's got some free time on his hands and isn't on the regular WWE schedule, he's getting involved in all sorts of other projects. We have to assume there is a good reason for the outfit. If not, perhaps he plans to make a surprise return to the WWE as a masked wrestler? He's missing the mask, so if this is the case, it might be kind of easy to tell who it is under that costume. But hey, Jericho in at number fifteen means... he just made the list!

14 Predicting The Future?

advertising

While this shirt was not meant to signify the end of Baron Corbin's push as a single's wrestler, is that exactly what has happened? After losing his Money in the Bank briefcase guarantee and then getting decisively beaten by John Cena at SummerSlam, many would argue it's the end of days for Corbin and his push toward the WWE main event picture.

It's hard to argue that things don't look good for Corbin who has been the subject of many rumors the past couple weeks. It sounds as though the company has lost faith in his ability and that he's bickering with other wrestlers on social media (and losing) and his mic work has been less than stellar is a telling sign. It's too soon to say his time is up but he needs to get back on the right track and in a hurry.

13 Holy Hottness

No matter what she's doing in the WWE, Lana is still incredibly ravishing. Her time as a wrestler may be coming to a pause as she prepares to work with Tamina and her image, but whether she's in the ring or outside of it, Lana seems to make time to find new ways to look amazing on Instagram.

This time, a video short shows her lounging around a pool and posing in playful ways for her photographer. Perhaps she should use some of this magic to cheer up Rusev who just got crushed at SummerSlam by Randy Orton in a matter of seconds. He could use some good news right about now. Like Corbin, Rusev seems to be on the outs with someone in management. He's being held down and it's hard to understand why.

12 Wishing The Nature Boy The Best

With all that's going on with Ric Flair and his well-being, it seems only right to put a positive image with Flair and his family on this list. Charlotte must especially be having a rough go of things and everyone is hoping she and her loved ones get through this with good fortune.

There are finally promising reports coming out about Ric and his poor health. After Flair was placed in a medically induced coma and underwent surgery, it's wonderful news to hear that he is on the road to recovery. From the talent in the locker room to the fans around the world, the WWE Universe has been collectively waiting for positive news and thankfully, the latest word on The Nature Boy is doing better and even cutting promos on the hospital staff.

11 How Low Is Too Low?

It's the HEARTBREAK COLONEL SANDERS! #HBC #HBK @kfc #ShawnMichaels #SummerSlam

A post shared by WWE (@wwe) on

Part of me found the appearance by Shawn Michaels (aka Colonel Sanders) at SummerSlam entertaining. Then, almost immediately, I realized this was Shawn Michaels we're talking about here. It's great to see "The Heartbreak Kid" make an appearance, but why on Earth would the WWE ask him to dress like the dude from KFC and say absolutely nothing on the summer's biggest pay-per-view? Is this really the final image they wanted to give fans as the pre-show ended and the main card began?

Sure, maybe he was already in the area thanks to his involvement with NXT, but there has to be a better use for a Hall of Fame legend than this. Perhaps I'm being too harsh. While I would imagine that Michaels was wondering what the heck he was doing dress liked this too, he did seem to be enjoying himself. You could tell by the smile on his face. Although, he doesn't look pleased in this particular photo.

10 Missing Kelly Kelly

Missing Miami ☀️☀️☀️

There's nothing like a nice sandy bikini shot to make you realize just how much you miss one of the former Divas. Kelly Kelly (aka Barbie Blank) is at Hyde Beach Miami in this photo, but she clearly misses the weather wherever she is now. Her first comment was "missing Miami" and I'm sure if she was parading around in outfits like this, Miami is missing her too.

Kelly Kelly was most recently seen as part of WrestleMania weekend and filmed an episode of Table for 3 on the WWE Network. She's enjoying married life with husband and former NHL'er Sheldon Souray. She's looking to have a baby boy sometime in the near future and she's probably one of those fortunate people that will go right back to looking like this after she does.

9 Don't Hinder Jinder

For those of us that thought Shinsuke Nakamura was a shoe-in to win the WWE Championship at SummerSlam (I was one of those people) think again. The WWE put the title around Jinder Mahal's waist and after he beat Nakamura at the summer's biggest party (and pay-per-view), it looks like the company is going to ride the Mahal wave all the way.

Nakamura was the overwhelming favorite heading into SummerSlam and there is still pretty good money betting on the fact that "The King of Strong Style" could be the champ heading into WrestleMania 34, but for now, Mahal is the king of SmackDown Live and this picture shows everyone, he doesn't plan to give up the title easily.

8 Four-Time Champ!

advertising

Even though she wasn't supposed to be facing Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam, Sasha Banks replaced Bayley and made the most of her opportunity when she defeated Bliss to win the Raw Women's Championship for the fourth time. She made history in doing so and she defeated a champion who is speculated to have some real heat behind the scenes with Banks.

Who's next for Sasha? Is it Bliss in a rematch? Most likely. But, what about Bayley who never lost but couldn't compete due to an injury? Bayley is having some trouble getting over with the WWE crowd as of late. Would the WWE dare turn her heel and have her feud with her close friend? Pretty much everyone thought it might be the other way around with Banks acting the role of the instigator. Maybe the WWE plans to shock everyone.

7 ROH Makes Presence Felt

Adam Cole posted this photo to his Instagram account with the tag "We've ruled the world before. Now...it's time to rule your universe. ". Cole showed up to surprisingly end the NXT Takeover pay-per-view and took out new champ Drew McIntyre after McIntyre defeated "Glorious" Bobby Roode.

Cole, alongside Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly made their way to NXT from ROH and the WWE has immediately pushed them into the main event scene. It's a somewhat surprising move in that the WWE tends to want to ensure even the most casual of fans know who these guys are, but NXT is hurting for main event talent. Cole and the gang fill a rather large void quite nicely. Will he discard of McIntyre as quickly as he apparently rose to the the title picture?

6 Final Days For The Glorious One?

#NXTTakeOver just got pretty... #Glorious. #BobbyRoode #NXTChampionship

Speaking of NXT, did fans witness the end of Bobby Roode's run in NXT? After losing the title to Drew McIntyre, it was odd how quickly everyone forgot about the champ who'd been ruling NXT for months. Bobby Roode is still "Glorious" and there is speculation that the main roster in WWE will soon be introduced to his magnificent entrances and arrogant, entitled ways.

Roode is one of the more veteran wrestlers in the WWE and this photo may be one of his final photos before he makes the jump to the main roster. Will it be as part of the next SuperStar Shake-Up? Only time will tell, but he's clearly ready for a larger role within the company. You were a glorious NXT Champion. Now go rule the main roster.

5 Still A Kid At Heart

Thirty Years Old. 🎂

A post shared by Johnny Gargano (@thejohnnygargano) on

Johnny Gargano had perhaps a match-of-the-year caliber bout with Andre Cien Almas and NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III but almost as important was his 30th birthday. What does it tell you about a man who is 30 years old and is posing for a photo with his Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers and Gremlins toys? Still a kid at heart.

Do we love Gargano any less because he's a fully grown adult and collecting childrens toys? Actually, it probably makes us love him a little more. If we were 30 and had the luxery of doing what he's doing, making some decent money and living the life, we'd probably ask for toys for our birthday too. If he keeps having matches like the match he had on Saturday, he'll be able to afford any toy he wants because he'll be one of the WWE's biggest stars.

4 Young And In Love

advertising

Most people knew Big Cass and Carmella were an item. If you didn't, here's your proof. Posting a pic to celebrate Cass' 30th birthday, she writes "Happy Birthday to the love of my life and best friend in the whole world. 30 has never looked so good baby."

Things are looking up for Carmella and Cass who are set to receive some pushes from the WWE. Cass destroyed Big Show and Enzo at SummerSlam and Carmella still has her Money in the Bank briefcase and will be looking to take out new SmackDown Live Women's Champion Natalya. This "it" couple seems to have it made right now. All we know if James Ellsworth better not get too close. Cass is 7-feet tall and clearly looking for his next target.

3 3.BFF's

It is the summer's biggest party is it not? If you're headed for the heat and you've got one of your best buddies with you, why not make a stop on the way to SummerSlam and get a little ice cream? While you're at it, why not post a vid of you enjoying your ice cream? That's what Lita and Renee Young did.

Sure looks like a hard life. Head to Brooklyn, get out and see the town, enjoy some ice cream then head on over to the pay-per-view. Well, the show was four hours and these two were part of the kickoff which was another two hours, so I guess that makes for a long day. Enjoy the weather and treats while you can.

2 Change Is Coming

advertising

He was nowhere to be found on the SummerSlam card and he's not been on SmackDown Live in ages, but Dolph Ziggler is still very much a part of the WWE. He's traveling with the crew, showing up at events over SummerSlam weekend and he's working live events with the rest of the WWE talent.

The good news, if you miss Ziggler, is that he'll be returning. He's asked for a little time off to do some personal stuff and when he returns, it looks like he'll be coming back with a different image and a new feel. This may be one of his last shots to make a run. He's been stale of late and he's no longer the people's choice he once was. But, this photo shows, he's still very much a part of the team.

1 Saying What Needs To Be Said

With all the controversy surrounding the President of the United States and Donald Trump's response to the tragedies in Charlottesville, leave it to The Rock, Dwayne Johnson, to say something that everyone can agree with.

In a time that people are so caught up in the response and the hate and the violence on "both sides", people seem to forget that people lost their lives. The Rock is calling for everyone not to forget that and urges people to look at this as a time that it's important to be good human beings. It's no longer political, it's about doing the right thing. "It's not about Democrats or Republicans, it's about being human. Decent human beings... Live as greatly as we can, lead by example, lead with strength and lead with love.

Painful week, but it's given us great clarity. And in that clarity, we become stronger.

As one."
