WWE Crown Jewel was Thursday's presentation from Saudi Arabia and included a stacked card with strong matches and big names. There were rumors of appearances heading into the pay-per-view and talk of potential title changes as the WWE Draft selections kicked into effect 24 hours later.

A strong pay-per-view with a hot crowd, this event might have been one of WWE's better showings when it comes to Saudi Arabia shows. Here are your winners and losers for WWE Crown Jewel, October 21, 2021:

Winner: Rollins vs Edge

WWE opened Crown Jewel with a barn burner and one of the better Hell in a Cell matches in years. The last time Rollins was in a Hell in a Cell match, things didn't go so well for him. He more than made up for it this time around as his bout with Edge included tables, ladders, chairs, chains and more. Both men used the other's moves and the contest rolled on for a good 30 minutes before coming to a close. Edge picked up the win by delivering a stomp to Rollins on a chair. There are many words you can use to describe this match. An instant classic, an absolute war, a perfect opener, the ideal way to close a feud. All of them work.

This was the trilogy match between the two and a match seven years in the making. The build-up to this bout was the best on the roster and the two men delivered before each headed to Raw. It will be interesting to see if they move on from one another or continue this battle on Mondays. They have plenty of chemistry and this match almost makes you feel like seeing them go at it again wouldn't be the worst thing. That said, it's probably time each man finds a new adversary.

Winner: Mansoor

In a match meant to give the hometown crowd something to really cheer for, Mansoor picked up a win to stay undefeated at Crown Jewel events. In another cool moment following the match, the silver medalist in karate from Saudi Arabia, Tareg Hamedi showed up to assist Mansoor who was attacked after the match. This was all about making the local crowd happy and it worked.

This was also a historic match as two Muslim superstars had never faced each other on PPV in WWE up to this point. It was a good match and Mansoor showed well. He included some innovative offense including a top-rope neck-breaker.

Winner: RK-Bro Retain Raw Tag Titles

In another match meant to give the crowd something to cheer for, WWE went with Orton and Riddle retain. The two takeaways from the match was the fact WWE had Riddle come to the ring riding a camel and Orton landing an RKO out of nowhere for the win. Orton and Riddle are over everywhere, including Saudi Arabia. This match had some some cool moments which kept the momentum of a strong pay-per-view going.

Winner: Zelina Vega

In a moment that could really catapult Zelina Vega forward on Raw in the coming weeks, she won the inaugural Queen's Crown tournament and defeated Doudrop at Crown Jewel. This is exactly the right kind of character for Vega who will make a perfect queen. She'll think she's better than everyone and she'll try to rule with evil intentions. She'll likely dress the part better than any king in the past and this is exactly what she needs to elevate her standing on the roster. Expect her to embrace this role and have some fun with it.

Loser: Goldberg Defeats Lashley

The first loser of the show goes to Goldberg vs. Lashley. It's not a loser because of the match. That was actually not bad. The loser tag gets attached to this bout because there was really no way WWE was going to be able to deliver on the hype. First, Goldberg winning over Lashley isn't going to sit well with a number of fans. Second, WWE hyped the idea that Goldberg was literally going to kill Lashley and the best he did was a spear off the ramp onto a ton of tables (which was a cool spot). WWE made their bed with the promotion of this bout and it was going to be hard to hold up their end of the bargain.

Fortunately, Lashley is fairly impervious to a win or a loss and he'll be fine. The downside is that Goldberg will likely disappear again and WWE chose to go with the part-timer over one of the stars of the red brand. No Gage, no deliver on the promise of the match and a ton of struggles with objects like tables and Goldberg's gloves made this one less than ideal. Giving credit where it's due, this was one of Goldberg's better in-ring performances.

Winner: Xavier Woods

There might not be a happier WWE Superstar coming back from Saudi Arabia than Xavier Woods who achieved a life-long dream by winning the King of the Ring Tournament. This was something Woods has wanted for years and getting the victory over Finn Balor to wear the crown is a nice moment for a deserving star. It's hard not to think he's going to have an incredible time playing this role and you know he's going to take advantage of every opportunity.

The match itself was good and this might be one of Woods' biggest wins. Kudos to Balor for doing the job here and helping elevate Woods onto the next big run in his WWE career. It was a clean win with Woods hitting his top-rope elbow for the three count.

Winner: Big E

Even though this might have been the most predictable outcome of all the matches on this card, this was one of Big E's best singles matches and an extremely entertaining contest. Drew McIntyre keeps losing big matches and that's something WWE is going to need to be mindful of as he makes a move to SmackDown. That said, both men did a great job and Big E picking up a number of consecutive wins is helping cement him as a credible champion.

While the audience was hot for the entire show, the crowd was really into this match and that added an extra layer to the level of entertainment. McIntyre tried to land E's finisher to close the contest but it was Big E landing a second Big Ending to get the pinfall.

Winner: Lynch Retains SmackDown Women's Championship

In a match that was more of a showcase of strength and athleticism than anything else for Bianca Beliar, the bout also included a creative finish as Becky Lynch held onto the bottom rope for dear life to secure the pin on Sasha Banks and retain her championship. What happens next with the titles is anyone's guess as Lynch holds the SmackDown belt and is headed to Raw, while Charlotte holds the Raw title and is headed to SmackDown.

This match was a bit sloppy at first but really got going in the later moments with some innovative spots.

Winner: Roman Reigns

Reigns retains in a win over Brock Lesnar but one that leaves the door between Paul Heyman, The Best and The Head of the Table wide open. Heyman threw the championship belt into the middle of the ring, not taking a side as the official was laid out from an F5. Lesnar and Reigns fought over it, but in the distraction, The Usos hit double superkicks to Lesnar so Reigns could pick up the win. Heyman left with the champion, but Friday night there will certainly be questions.

Some people might suggest Lesnar looked tired in his first match back in almost two years. I'm not so sure as he was selling like a babyface would which is much different position to be in that his recent matches. I thought both men did well in their role reversals.
