The Raw after WrestleMania and the months that follow are a really exciting time for the WWE. It's all about hitting the reset button, starting new feuds, and introducing the world to some of the newest additions to the WWE. Even though the WWE is already packed with a number of Superstars, there is always room for new additions to the roster. Adding new Superstars could create all kinds of great feuds, help increase ratings, and dramatically change the focus of the company.

The following fifteen stars could make huge headlines if they join the WWE. A lot of them bring plenty of wrestling ability and have already competed all over the world. Some of those wrestlers have never stepped into a WWE ring, although there are a lot of veterans who could be making their long-awaited return to the company. The WWE developmental brand of NXT is also a breeding ground for numerous Superstars that could be making their main roster debut.

Rumors are constantly swirling, so it's important to take them with a grain of salt, but you'll likely see a good handful of these wrestlers appear in a WWE ring sometime following WrestleMania. By the time WrestleMania 34 rolls around, you could be seeing these stars in some marquee matches.

15 Kenny Omega

via inquisitr.com

One of the most rumored names that has been swirling around the WWE is Kenny Omega. Omega has been a huge star globally and one of the leading wrestlers in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Once Omega announced that he had intentions to leave NJPW, all anyone could talk about was him signing a WWE contract. Omega is an excellent heel and someone who has already wrestled with current WWE Superstars like A.J. Styles.

John Cena added more speculation to his WWE signing when he posted a picture of Omega on his Instagram account. An Omega and Cena feud would be a great way to introduce the star to WWE audiences and showcase his main event potential in the WWE. For now, we wait as Omega recently re-signed with New Japan. Given it's a short term deal, we could see Omega in the WWE sooner rather than later.

14 Shinsuke Nakamura

via stillrealtous.com

Shinsuke Nakamura has been a sensation in NXT. He has partaken in incredible matches with Finn Balor and Samoa Joe among others. His natural charisma and ring skills have led to some great moments and a pure entertainment that goes from start to finish when he's in the ring. It's long overdue that Nakamura makes his main roster debut. After losing his title to Bobby Roode, it looks to be more of a reality following the WrestleMania event.

Nakamura should transition well on the main WWE roster. It's only natural to revisit his feuds with Finn Balor and Samoa Joe, but there is plenty of new talent for him to go up against. Nakamura would do well in matches against Superstars like Seth Rollins, A.J. Styles, Dolph Ziggler, or even bigger stars like Braun Strowman.

13 Matt Hardy

via wrestlingnews.co

Matt Hardy may be broken, but his career is doing better than ever thanks to a little creative freedom in TNA. After Matt opted out of renewing his TNA contract, so the wrestler may return to his roots in the WWE. If Matt does return, it'll be interesting to see how much creative freedom he is given. The WWE already copied his Deletion matches by doing The Wyatt Family Compound match so they obviously like the direction he's going in.

If Matt does return to the WWE, there are plenty of new feuds for him to embark in. He could focus on converting a Superstar and make them broken. He could also see himself in a long-term feud with Bray Wyatt, which has been teased on Twitter. Matt could even recruit former Wyatt members like Luke Harper to form a new family that battles Bray.

12 Jeff Hardy

Along with Matt Hardy, the WWE Universe could see the return of his brother Jeff, aka Brother Nero. Jeff had a lot more success in the WWE and he could instantly return to main event status by having a surprise appearance after WrestleMania. Don't expect to see the Hardy's come together again as a tag team. They'll be better off as individuals and could even be on separate WWE brands.

Years ago, Jeff found a lot of success on the SmackDown roster. He could return there to reclaim his spot as a top Superstar. It would be great to see him in matches against A.J. Styles, John Cena, and newer stars like Baron Corbin. Hardy could also wrestle in the Cruiserweight division, taking on opponents like Neville.

11 Eric Young

via wwe.com

With the break-up of The Wyatt Family and The Shield long-gone, it's time for the WWE to see the rise of another huge stable. This is where Eric Young comes in with his group, SAnitY. SAnitY was teased on NXT for several weeks before making their big debut and becoming one of the fast-rising groups in the WWE. It seems like SAnitY will quickly outgrow NXT as fan demand rises for their main roster debut.

While in TNA, Eric Young had an underdog tale that was very similar to Daniel Bryan's. Now that Bryan is retired, Young can take his spot on the roster and use the group to propel him quickly through the ranks. After their debut, it would great to see SAnitY take on a team like Enzo and Big Cass before heading to some other prominent feuds.

10 Tye Dillinger

via dailyddt.com

The Royal Rumble is the perfect time for surprise debuts and Tye Dillinger used the number ten position to create a perfect ten moment. Even though Dillinger had a memorable Rumble debut, nothing followed his appearance. He returned back to NXT without even appearing on Raw or SmackDown.

After the dust settles from WrestleMania, you can expect Dillinger to make his main roster debut. He's constantly praised by veteran wrestlers and has made a huge impact by returning to the WWE and NXT. His Perfect Ten gimmick has caught on with a lot of fans and now is the time to show it off on a greater scale. Dillinger should transition nicely on the main roster. It would be great to see him in matches against Finn Balor, Dean Ambrose, and Kevin Owens, among others.

9 Kurt Angle

via wrestlezone.com

The WWE Hall of Fame is not just a great way to honor WWE Superstars, but it's also an exciting way to open up new doors for wrestlers coming back. While Angle isn't retired, he probably only has a few more good matches left in him. It seems like the WWE recognizes this and want him back for one more big story.

Rumors have already been swirling that Angle is booked to appear on the post-WrestleMania episode of WWE Raw. This is a great way to set up Angle's future with the company. He could reignite his feud with Brock Lesnar or start a new feud with Superstars like Rusev. Either way, it will be an incredible sight to see Angle competing in a WWE ring once again.

8 Drew Galloway

via wrestlingnews.co

Drew Galloway was pegged by Vince McMahon as the next big thing, but injuries and poor character development caused him to fall through the cracks on the WWE roster. Galloway was eventually released from his contract and found success in TNA by winning their World Heavyweight Championship.

Galloway recently revealed that he was not renewing his contract with TNA, opening the door for a WWE return. Using his TNA success, Galloway can really rise in the WWE upon his return. If he's used right, he could be a huge contender on either roster, but would probably work better on the SmackDown side of things. It'll be interesting to see if WWE can use him right the second time around or if he'll just reunite with Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal to form the Three Man Band.

7 Bobby Roode

via wwe.com

Bobby Roode has enjoyed an amazing transition from TNA to the ranks of NXT. His repackaged “Glorious” character has become one of the more interesting parts of NXT. This has also been proven with Roode's recent winning of the NXT Title. The NXT Championship not only represents being the best in the brand, but it also acts like a golden ticket to reach the WWE's main roster.

Roode will likely step into the main WWE ring sometime around SummerSlam. This gives him plenty of time to defend the title in NXT and eventually pass it along as he transitions to the main roster. A huge event like SummerSlam is the perfect time to debut his grand entrance on the main show. Roode will be a great addition to the roster as someone who can compete with anyone.

6 Kyle O'Reilly

via four3four.com

The Ring of Honor wrestling promotion is great on its own, but it ultimately has become somewhat of a breeding ground for future WWE stars. Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Seth Rollins are just a few of the ROH alumni that have found success with the WWE. The same pathway could also be followed by current ROH star Kyle O'Reilly. O'Reilly has been featured in multiple main event marquee matches and he possesses the ring skills and charisma to make it in the WWE.

If O'Reilly does get hired by the WWE, expect him to start off with NXT first. It'll be a great way to introduce his character, ring skills, and give him a chance at the NXT Championship. He has a lot of potential and could create some great matches before making his main roster debut.

5 Lio Rush

via wikimedia.org

The WWE is constantly looking for young and rising stars to join their promotion and Lio Rush is the perfect person for the job. Rush is very young and is already showcasing his pro skills with just a few years of training. Weighing only 160 pounds, Rush is an ideal candidate to join the WWE Cruiserweight division. The division is constantly adding new talent and Rush is a great example of what they are looking for.

He's high-flying, fast-paced, and can keep up with the best of them. Currently in Ring of Honor, Rush provides some amazing highlights every time he steps into the ring. His split-legged frog splash is an impactful finisher that could easily go toe-to-toe with Neville's Red Arrow. At such a young age, look for the WWE to have high interest.

4 Adam Cole

via usatoday.com

His name may sound plain, but he's been one of the most talked about wrestlers outside the WWE for many years. Adam Cole could easily dominate in the WWE Cruiserweight division, but he has the talents to compete with the best of them on the main WWE roster. Cole has been a top star in Ring of Honor for nearly eight years. It's finally time for him to move on and see what he can do in the WWE.

With a big name like Cole, he could skip over NXT and make his debut on Raw. It would be surreal to see him compete with people like Seth Rollins and Finn Balor. Their matches would be top flight and it would showcase why Cole was so successful in Ring of Honor for so many years.

3 Roderick Strong

via wwe.com

Rumors about Roderick Strong joining the WWE have persisted for numerous years. All of those rumors came true when Strong premiered in the Dusty Rhodes Classic Tag Team Tournament. Strong is now a member of the NXT roster and he's quickly outgrowing the brand.

Strong's main roster debut has been long-awaited. Many fans felt like he could have skipped over NXT and built a fan base by debuting on SmackDown or Raw. He's great on the mic, even better in the ring, and can really blend in with the current roster of talent. Drafting Strong to SmackDown or Raw is the best choice to really mix up the rosters and provide a fresh face for either brand. If a draft is held during the summer, expect Strong to be a big part of it.

2 Ricochet

via wikimedia.org

One of the most wanted stars from Lucha Underground has been Prince Puma. Known all around the world as Ricochet, this high-flier has incredible wrestling skills. Ricochet has already been interviewed by Stone Cold Steve Austin and credits his strong interest in wrestling to The Rock. That helps to offer a natural transition to the WWE. Ricochet can make a huge impact much like other high fliers like Jimmy Snuka and Rey Mysterio. He's a once in a generation Superstar that would instantly connect with fans and breathe some fresh life into the WWE.

Ricochet has the skills to be a main event performer and future WWE Champion. The key to his success is to introduce his fast and stronger abilities, inserting him into the main event, and giving him some strong wins over WWE veterans.

1 Cody Rhodes

via wrestlezone.com

The last time we saw Cody Rhodes in the ring, he was under the face paint of Stardust. After removing the paint and hitting the independent circuit, Rhodes has become extremely popular all around the world. This extra credibility can go a long way in building back up a WWE return. Cody has an easy bitter vengeance storyline built into his return and he can be the credible main event performer that he should have been years ago.

The key to making his WWE return is ditching the paint and sticking to the character that he has been using now. Rhodes could even bring his wife with him to create a nice heel duo similar to the likes of Maryse and The Miz. Rhodes' time in the WWE is definitely not over and his return would be highly welcomed by fans.
