Wrestling is not a profession which lends well to monogamy. The long stretches of travel, the close proximity to wrestlers of the opposite gender, and general eccentricities of wrestlers turn many tours into a hub of extra-marital activities.

In some cases, however, scandalous affairs have turned into long-lasting marriages and relationships. In fact, some of the biggest Superstars find themselves in this group. Based on history, it appears more top wrestlers are living with their homewreckers than not.

There are a few ground rules we should cover beforehand. First of all, the wrestlers in question have to be current. This means the Macho Man, Elizabeth, and Lex Luger triangle is not eligible as well as many others. The other ground rule is that the wrestler has to still be living with the homewrecker. It has to be a current and long-lasting relationship, in other words. Luckily, there are many cases of this in the wrestling world.

Here are 15 wrestlers who not only left their spouse for someone else but are still with the homewrecker today, enjoy.

15 15. Jeff Jarrett and Karen Angle

via UpClosed.com

Karen Angle started an affair with Jeff Jarrett while still married to Kurt Angle. All of this played out during a period when Jarrett was a high-ranking official in TNA Wrestling and Kurt Angle was the promotion's biggest star.

Fortunately for everyone involved, Jarrett and Angle were still able to work together despite all the drama. Kurt admitted to having been unfaithful to Karen, so it's not as though he was innocent in the ordeal. Jarrett had lost his first wife three years before marrying Karen.

As of this writing, things aren't going too well for Jarrett, who recently checked himself into rehab. Jarrett had seemingly just struck a deal with the new owners of Impact Wrestling to re-brand the promotion as Global Force Wrestling. It appears that Jarrett's substance abuse issues reared their ugly head backstage and he is now no longer with the company.

14 14. CM Punk and AJ Lee

via Grantland.com

CM Punk and AJ Lee  married in 2014, they hot hitched on the exact day he received his release from WWE.

It is believed there was some overlap between CM Punk's relationship with his current wife and with WWE Hall of Famer, Lita. Making the situation all the more ridiculous is the fact that AJ Lee was a big fan of Lita's growing up and video exists of a teenage AJ sobbing tears of joy at a Lita autograph session. Many find it a little funny that AJ would then go on to steal her childhood idol's boyfriend and marry him.

Both Punk and AJ Lee have stated they are retired from professional wrestling and are focusing on other goals right now. Punk competed at a UFC event in losing fashion and AJ has published her autobiography since leaving WWE.

via instagram.com

While the timing of this is not fully known, Rob Van Dam and his wife of 17 years split recently and he is now linked to independent wrestler, Katie Forbes. According to a report by TMZ, the two met at a wrestling convention after RVD and his ex-wife Sonya had been separated. Sonya and Van Dam were married in 1998 but his ex-wife officially filed for divorce in July 2016.

Forbes only started her wrestling career in 2015 but has been active on the independent scene in that time. She wrestles in Louisiana and California but has also competed in Australia, where she had two matches this August. Van Dam was the former PCW Heavyweight Champion, having defeated Pentagon Jr. for the title a year ago, but he ended up losing the title in June.

12 12. John Morrison and Taya Valkyrie

via si.com

While the timing of this relationship in regards to the timing of John's previous one is not currently known, it has become apparent that Taya has replaced Melina.

It is said that John and Melina had something of a unique and open relationship while in WWE, which allowed Melina to have an affair with Batista for a time. Morrison's longtime partner also made an appearance at the end of Lucha Underground season one.

At the end of Lucha Underground's first season, it looked as though John and Melina had been paired up again on-screen, leading many to believe they were still actively a couple off-screen. Then season two of Lucha Underground hit and we never saw Melina again but we do see Taya Valkyrie. The Luchadora and Johnny Mundo are now engaged.

11 11. Sable & Brock Lesnar

via renalesnar.net

A little know fact about Sable is that she was actually married twice prior to meeting Brock. Her initial marriage took place way back in the 80s when Sable hitched Wayne Richardson, a marriage that would come to an end just before her pro wrestling fame. Next in line, during the mid 90s was Marc Mero as the two spent the Attitude Era as a real-life married couple from the mid 90s, till 2004. Following her WWE exit, Sable would divorce Mero shortly after.

Following Sable’s official divorce to Mero, she would marry Brock only two years later as they two met during her WWE return in 2003 over on the SmackDown brand. The two have been married since 2006, living a quiet life with their two children back in Maryfield , Saskatchewan.

10 10. Velvet Sky and Bubba Ray Dudley

via zahthoughts.files.wordpress.com

Velvet Sky was with Chris Sabin before ending up with Bubba Ray Dudley. It wouldn't be long after finding out he was the odd-man out in the love triangle that Sabin would decide to leave TNA for Ring of Honor.

Many linked Sky with WWE after she left TNA in 2016 but those beliefs turned out to be incorrect. After spending some time on the independent scene, Velvet Sky announced earlier this year she is retired from in-ring competition. She continued to say she is still open to attending conventions and making appearances, however.

Bubba Ray spent his most recent Ring of Honor tour hinting that his in-ring career might be over soon as well. Whether that is all apart of an angle or not remains to be seen.

9 9. Magnum TA and Courtney Shattuck

via pintrest.com

Magnum TA and Tully Blanchard were the worst of enemies inside the ring. While they may not have been friendly outside the ring either, they do share some family relationships and one that both likely weren't too fond about.

After Tully and his wife, Courtney Shattuck divorced - guess who was there to swoop in? Tully's longtime rival, Magnum TA. Shattuck and TA married but that's not all. Magnum ended up becoming the step-father to Tully's children, including Tessa Blanchard, who is rumored to be on her way to NXT shortly.

Neither TA nor Tully has chosen to answer many questions on how one ended up marrying the other one's ex-wife which probably means there is an awesome story behind it they don't want getting out.

8 8. Robbie E and Tara Sue

via people.com

Robbie E left his wife, Tara Sue, in 2013. The couple had been married for two years but together for nine. There was another woman in the picture, fellow wrestler Brooke Tessmacher from TNA Wrestling.

Brooke and Robbie became a couple and even competed on the Amazing Race together. While Robbie was living with his homewrecker back then he would also have his home re-wrecked by his ex-wife in 2015. Robbie would leave Brooke and end up back together with his ex; re-proposing to Tara Sue.

As for Brooke, she competed for Impact Wrestling earlier this year but is no longer under contract to the promotion. It is unclear what her next step in wrestling is. As for Robbie E, he left Impact Wrestling earlier this year and is performing on the independent scene.

7 7. Bray Wyatt and JoJo Offerman

via ringsidenews.com

Earlier this year, it was revealed that Bray Wyatt's wife had filed for divorce. Among the reasons she did so was an apparent affair Wyatt had been having with ring announcer, JoJo Offerman. Wyatt had been married to his wife, Samantha, since 2012. The couple had two children together and finalized their divorce earlier this year.

Wyatt and JoJo are still together surprisingly. The 23-year-old Offerman has been signed to WWE since 2013. She has appeared on Total Divas multiple times, including as a main cast member in 2013. JoJo is also the daughter of former MLB baseball player, Jose Offerman. It's worth mentioning that should she and Bray Wyatt end up marrying -Offerman would gain a new sister-in-law in Sister Abigail...

6 6. Ric Flair and Wendy Barlow

via fabwags.com

Ric Flair has been married and divorced four-times and is currently living with the woman who portrayed Fifi the Maid in WCW during the early 1990s.

Flair has four children throughout his marriages. David Flair was in WCW for a period during the Vince Russo era of horrendous booking. Reid signed a WWE developmental deal in 2007 but personal demons held him back. He died tragically of an overdose in 2013. Ashley turned into Charlotte Flair and has become one of the biggest stars in women's wrestling. Flair's oldest daughter Megan is not talked about as often as the others but she has a 13-year-old son, Ric's only grandchild.

Flair divorced wife number four in 2014 and got engaged to Fifi (Wendy Barlow) in 2016 though they have yet to marry. Barlow helped see Flair through his most recent health scare as well.

5 5. John Cena and Nikki Bella

via intouchweekly.com

Rumors of John Cena's infidelity while married to high school sweetheart, Elizabeth Huberdeau, were plentiful. There was only one woman who could finally get him to leave his wife, however, and that woman was Nikki Bella.

Cena and Huberdeau divorced in 2012, which just so happens to be the same year he and Nikki Bella became more open about dating. Cena would end up proposing to Nikki Bella at WrestleMania 33 after the pair defeated the Miz and Maryse. Ironically, Miz had been berating Cena for weeks leading up to the match that his relationship with Nikki was just for the cameras.

Cena is now 40 years old and looking to spend less time in the ring while Nikki Bella has a history of neck problems - so we might not be seeing this pair often in WWE over the next couple of years.

4 4. The Undertaker and Michelle McCool

via thesun.co.uk

The Undertaker is currently on wife number three, Michelle McCool. Amazingly, in the course of researching this article, we discovered that Michelle McCool is her actual name. Her surname really is McCool!

Undertaker was married to Jodi Lynn from 1989-1999 before leaving her for Sara. Taker then decided it would be a good idea to get his second wife's name tattooed for the world to see. No word on whether or not he'll be getting the name "Michelle" tattooed anywhere visible in the near future or not.

Taker would be divorced from Sara by 2007 and married to McCool by 2010, though it is believed they were seeing each other for some time beforehand. In total, Taker has four kids and one of them is with McCool.

3 3. Randy Orton and Kimberly Kessler

via fightsday.com

In 2013, Randy Orton and his now ex-wife, Samantha Speno got a divorce. The couple had been married for six years between 2007 and 2013. While the agreement was made swiftly between the two sides, Samantha would declare the marriage "irretrievably broken."

It didn't take Orton long to remarry however, as two years later he was already married to Kimberly Kessler. The couple welcomed their first child to the family last year. Orton ended up having to pay his ex-wife quite a bit for child support but was able to keep one of his residences and car.

Unfortunately, Orton has spent much of this last year in ill-received storylines with Bray Wyatt that involved haunted houses and similar black magic. Edging towards his 40s, the Viper has still got the footing to keep up with the very best in the company.

2 2. Stone Cold Steve Austin and Kristin Feres

via fightingology.com

In the summer of 2002, Debra Marshall reported her husband, Steve Austin, had been abusive towards her. Shortly after, Austin filed for divorce. He would marry his current wife, Kristin Feres, a little over a year after filing for divorce from Debra.

Kristin is Austin's fourth wife. The couple has now been married eight years, which passes Austin's previous record of seven during his second marriage in the early 90s. Austin first married his high school sweetheart in 1990 but they would divorce in 1992. He then married Lady Blossom, a female wrestler from England who was also known by the name Jeanie Adams. They were married from '92 to '99.

Austin and Debra were not married long. They were to be hitched in 2000 and began divorce proceedings in 2002, with it becoming official the next year.

1 1. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon

via tumblr.com

Much gets made about how Triple H's career advanced by marrying Stephanie, but little attention is given to how Stephanie gained out of the deal. Remember, Stephanie was not the next in line to take over the company, Shane likely was. By marrying a top star in the company and someone Vince really liked, Stephanie put herself in a better position to take over WWE's Game of Thrones. All of a sudden, Shane was outnumbered and eventually left the company for almost a decade, allowing the power couple to take over.

Of course, Triple H left Chyna to begin this relationship. Stephanie and Triple H even started seeing each other behind Chyna's back. It wouldn't be long until she was gone from the company and Triple H and Stephanie would stand tall at the top of the WWE hierarchy.
