15 Wrestlers That Did Adult Entertainment: Where Are They Now?

During WWE’s famous Attitude Era, and for several years after, the company pushed many of their Divas towards Playboy as a way of expanding their portfolio and bringing more male fans on board.

This has since changed now that WWE promoted a PG rated show and any stars that were found to have produced any form of adult entertainment before signing with the company are quickly and quietly terminated.

For the former Divas of WWE, there is always a pull towards the adult entertainment industry because they have spent much of their career being regarded as sex symbols and many of the directors of these films or editors of these magazines know that they are a name that will sell their product. Many stars turned down the idea of either posing for Playboy or being a part of adult films, whilst others jumped at the chance to expand their horizons and add another career to their CV.

There are no current WWE superstars who have previously made a living out of making adult entertainment (Bubba Ray only tried it out once). With that in midn, let's take a look at all of the people associated with wrestling who are known to have done adult entertainment and where their lives have taken them following wrestling.

15 Beulah McGillicutty

During her wrestling career, a video of Beulah pleasuring herself was leaked onto the internet, making her a star over night for all the wrong reasons.

Since her time in ECW, the former star has gone back to school, she published a children’s book entitled Gertrude the Great in 2012 before she formally retired from wrestling in 2014. She accompanied Tommy Dreamer to the ring one last time and got into a cat fight with Velvet Sky before she thanked the fans for their support over the past few years.

14 Lizzy Borden

Lizzy Borden made a name for herself in the wrestling world when she was a part of XPW along with her husband Rob Black. The two started up the promotion based out of Pennsylvania and played on-screen characters on the show. Around the same time, she was setting up her own Adult Entertainment business as a director She spent some time creating and directing adult movies as well as starring in some of them herself.

13 Gangrel

Gangrel became famous when he was paired with Edge and Christian and the trio became known as The Brood. Sadly this group was short lived in WWE and Gangrel was eventually released from WWE.

He then returned to WWE in 2004 when the company had plans for him to be a part of a vampire themed group with Kevin Thorne and Ariel but WWE held off introducing him because of his on-going weight problems.

In 2007, he signed a deal to direct 12 films for adult entertainment company New Porn Order under his Vampire Warrior ring name. His first movie was entitled Miami Rump Shakerz 2.

12 Torrie Wilson

The 2003 Playboy cover girl was released from WWE back in 2008 before she returned for a one-off match at WrestleMania XXV.

Since she left the company, Torrie starred on NBC's reality show, I'm a Celebrity...Get Me out of Here!, as well as starting her own clothing line with Nick Mitchell (Mitch from the Spirit Squad). On top of that, she dabbled in movies, while making the news for dating Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriquez.

11 Amy Weber

They say #change is #good! Thank you @biancacolour for my new look!!

The 2004 Diva Search contestant was another star who dabbled in the softcore adult industry before she signed to WWE. She only had a short stint with the company before she departed in 2005, stating that she wasn’t happy with the pay and childish environment. Apart from her time in WWE, she's mostly remembered for her part in Forbidden Games when there were various steamy scenes. Though she did go on to star in many other family friendly films and release an album entitled Let it Rain.

10 Sable

One of the most recognizable Divas of all time, Sable posed for the cover of Playboy magazine three times, once in 1999 where the issue became one of the highest selling issues in the history of the company before she was asked to pose again the same year. She then appeared for a third time along with Torrie Wilson in 2004.

9 Maria

Another of WWE Diva Search contestants, Maria was never used to her full potential in WWE and it didn’t come as a shock when she left the company in 2010 to make the switch to Ring of Honor.

Maria posed for Playboy magazine while she was still a part of WWE but her issue is often overlooked in favor of the Divas who had a much bigger fan base. Because of that, it is believed that her issue was one of the poorest selling issues for a WWE Diva.

8 Christy Hemme

Christy Hemme is another WWE Diva who was signed by WWE following their Diva Search but, like Maria, she wasn't used properly.

WWE did allow Hemme to pose for Playboy in 2005, but amidst reports that she was having a secret affair with Triple H (these were never confirmed), Hemme was released from the company the same year.

The French-Canadian star made a name for herself during her time with WWE, but she actually posed for Playboy magazine in 2007, before she was signed to a contract with WWE.

In terms of her time in WWE, she was actually quite successful and she is the third longest reigning Divas Champions in history behind Nikki Bella and AJ Lee. She officially left WWE in 2011.

6 X-Pac

X-Pac is perhaps best known for his time as a part of D-Generation X, which is likely where he met Chyna. From there, after the two left the WWE, they made their own home movie which was distributed by a professional adult entertainment label.

X-Pac has had a hectic life since he left WWE, which has included making a handful of one-off appearances for WWE as well as wrestling on the independent circuit.

5 Candice Michelle

The first ever Diva Search contestant to win the WWE Women’s Championship and, as one of the most beautiful WWE Divas of all time, Candice posed for Playboy back in 2006.

She and fellow cover girl Torrie Wilson then performed a Playboy pillow fight at WrestleMania in the same year, before Candice was released from the company in early 2009.

4 Chyna

The ninth wonder of the world is still considered to have been one of the most dominant female wrestlers in WWE history. Following her departure from WWE, Chyna and fellow WWE wrestler X-Pac made an adult film entitled 1 night in Chyna, which was professionally distributed.

3 Mickie James

Mickie James is one of the rare superstars who actually posed naked for an adult magazine before her time with WWE. James posed for pictures with Legshow magazine before she made it in the world of wrestling and the pictures have since become accessible online.

2 Sunny

The first Diva of WWE, Sunny was every man’s dream woman in the 90s, but they had to wait a while to see Sunny bare it all. She was approached by Playboy in 1997, but she turned them down.

Sadly, things have taken a turn of the worse and she's now resigned to doing live shows on Skype for her fans. She's also appeared nude for WrestlingVixxxens.

1 Ashley

The 2005 Raw Diva Search winner propelled herself to worldwide fame when she posed for Playboy in 2007. She then went on to be a part of WrestleMania 23 when she faced Melina in the only Divas match on the card.

According to Sunny, Ashley had previously been working as an escort before she was signed to WWE, though we're not sure how valuable her word is.

Ashley asked for her WWE release in 2008 when her daughter was sick so that she could go home to care for her. Ashley has since been working on the independent scene and hosting various parties for promotions.
