Wrestling fans tend to either love or hate Danhausen. His spooky, lighthearted antics either win over a fan's heart or send them on a tirade about how wrestling is dumb and not what it used to be. If you're part of the latter, this article probably isn't for you.
Danhausen gets up to a lot of nonsense in and out of the ring. He's quite the enigma; no one knows what exactly Danhausen is, or where he came from. Nevertheless, these pictures will hopefully show you a side of Danhausen you might not be familiar with if you've only seen him on AEW.
10 Vacationhausen
Before he was an official member of the AEW roster, Danhausen joined several AEW stars on the Jericho cruise. Here he is with referee Aubrey Edwards, dressed for some summer fun. It's not often we get to see Danhausen in colors other than his signature black, so we know he must be in a particularly good mood here. That, or he's just trying to blend in with the rest of Jericho's party-goers.
9 Disguisehausen
You might not know this, but Danhausen is a master of stealth. Would you have even recognized Danhausen under this luchador disguise if you weren't already privy to his identity? It's doubtful. His ability to disguise himself and blend in seamlessly with his surroundings makes Danhausen an extraordinary threat.
8 Halloweenhausen
To probably no one's surprise, Danhausen loves to celebrate Halloween. Being the spooky guy he is, Halloween is likely the peak of Danhausen's power. He likes to set up a tree for Halloween, and dresses for the occasion with costumes like his witch hat. Maybe this October, Danhausen will bring Hook trick-or-treating with him! So long as they don't break Taz's curfew.
7 Recoveryhausen
In October of 2021, Danhausen, unfortunately, broke both his tibia and fibia in his left leg. This injury happened at an independent show before he was signed to AEW, and also explains why it took Danhausen so long to have his first AEW match. His recovery has gone very well, though; he's had a metal rod inserted into his leg to help strengthen it and has now dubbed his left leg his "bionic" leg as a result.
6 MJFhausen
Hookhausen is certainly a dynamic duo, but they have nothing on this. Though, it's debatable if Maxwell Jacob Friedman and Danhausen can even be called a duo at all since it seems like MJF wants absolutely nothing to do with Danhausen.
Still, Danhausen tried his best to match his friend with a Burberry scarf. He looks very handsome! MJF's loss of a friend is Team Taz's gain.
5 Orangehausen
AEW fans have seen these two together before, during Danhausen's run with the Best Friends. What they might not have seen, though, is these iconic matching outfits. Not only does Danhausen have aviator sunglasses to match his friend, but he has a shirt that mimics one of Orange's most popular t-shirt designs, and a black denim jacket. Danhausen can pull off any look!
4 Chefhausen
Danhausen is a man of many talents. Not only is he great at wrestling, making money, being evil (and nice), and collecting teeth, but Danhausen is also a very talented chef. Also, if Danhausen is going to do one thing, it's dress the part. Here he is wearing a chef hat and a matching apron. He also has a bowtie and dress shirt on, perhaps meaning that this is a very special occasion.
Danhausen's cooking ability will be a nice thing to know for Taz, who is anticipating having to invite Hook's partner to Thanksgiving this Fall.
3 Brodyhausen
Before they both came to AEW, Brody King and Danhausen each made a name for themselves as independent wrestlers. They became unlikely friends as a result of this commonality. They do have some things to bond over, though, like a love for the color black, maybe. Perhaps in the future, we'll see the formation of the House of Blackhausen? It probably wouldn't work out, but who knows? The leader Malakai Black might not approve, though.
2 Punkhausen
This might come as a surprise to some, but CM Punk and Danhausen are actually pretty good friends. They also have a business relationship; Since Danhausen's finisher is the "Very Nice, Very Kneevil," his take on the GTS. CM Punk gave Danhausen his blessing to use the maneuver. Since then, though, the script has somehow flipped; now the backstory is that CM Punk is actually using Danhausen's finisher, and pays him $1,000 whenever he uses the GTS in the ring. CM Punk obliges this, for whatever reason.
Also, KENTA, the actual originator of the move "GTS," is fine with Danhausen using it. He does not like CM Punk using it, though. This has caused a lot of beef between the two veterans.
1 Spookyhausen
Before he was very nice and very evil, Danhausen was just very evil. He looked much scarier than he does now and didn't get up to the same goofy antics that his fans now know and love. It's unclear whether this spookier, meaner Danhausen still exists under Danhausen's more lighthearted facade. Maybe AEW fans will see it one day if someone manages to make Danhausen angry enough. For that hypothetical person's sake, let's hope that day never comes.
